Snow

A wee thing written for the prompt ‘Snow’ from @witcheradventcalendar

Yennefer shivers as she walks along one of Aretuza’s many winding corridors. Winter has come with a vengeance, bringing ice and snow to Thanedd. Usually the island benefits from the salt and warmth of the sea to ward off the worst of the winter extremities, but not this year it seems. She hurries past a large draughty window, but pauses when she hears a shriek. Turning back, she rubs her arms and looks out of the window to the courtyard below. A sound of astonishment escapes her throat as she takes in the sight before her.
