I don’t really know what the fuck your problem is, but an American discussing European history from the frame of reference as an American, that isn’t bad, or wrong. We’re taught European history in a specific way, with a particular narrative in North America. MedievalPOC isn’t imposing her views on anyone, she is having A DISCUSSION. That is ENCOURAGED in academia. She isn’t commenting on how Europeans are taught history either.

Asking for donations isn’t selling her research, which is well done by the way. If her posts were presented as essays to me to mark, her sourcing would be top notch. Seriously, the research is great.

It's just my favorite story ever...like it's written in this Mystical, Spiritual, Exotic, Otherworldly, Magical style like someone writing a new ethnicity in a fanfic. Badly. I went to the link that talked about blue spots, and I swear, I think she only said a white dermatologist thought it was skin cancer because the article mentioned blue spots not predisposing to skin cancer..but that sounds like a parent concern, not a dermatologist concern.

She literally just followed a script that the article laid out--"I reached puberty, my mom magically knew my blue spot was permanent, and she told me the story of my Mystical Mysterious Father." Oh my G-d.

In case y’all are wondering, after GJ’s infamous blue spot debacle, she claimed that she can’t sue the doctor because it was “at least ten years ago” and she “doesn’t remember the name.” Uhhh did y’all know people have medical records and shit? A biopsy, even just a skin one, is a rather Big Deal because it generally involves things like consent, being sent to a lab (the reason for getting a biopsy), etc. and you’ll have some record of that.

I think it’s closer to THAT SHIT DIDN’T HAPPEN COZ BLUE SPOTS LOOK LIKE BRUISES
