No ok but imagine at the hard deck, the usually happy and chill with he friend, getting teased by her “friends” for not understanding things or catching social cues and being kinda slow to process things, and Bob immediately clocking it like takes one to know one and swooping in. He wouldn’t start an argument with the others or anything but immediately “wanna stand with me” and then they just walk around the less busy parts of the hard deck.. doesn’t tease her for anything cause obvi, he wouldn’t cause he’s Bob, but also cause he KNOWS how it feels to be the easy target, reminding her that she is smart and that it doesn’t matter what they said and that she doesn’t “need to get checked out”

Bob would sense how uncomfortable you are and ask if he could buy you a drink to get you away from your "friends" so you could relax and decompress.

He'd listen to you and not make you feel rushed! ❤️

I literally hate my “friends” like yeah my reaction time is slow, I’m not great with social cues, but you don’t get to mock me or tease me like ganging up on me..like..no..I just really wish the dagger squad would like adopt me, tell me I’m smart and that they aren’t “wondering how I’ve made it this far” or “sometimes I worry about you” just like..I just KNOW they’d be better about things

I'm sorry, your "friends" absolutely suck and I really hope you find new ones who are understanding and supportive because that's what you deserve!!!

You are smart and your processing time is not an indicator of your intelligence. As someone who will ask a person to repeat a question and then answer it while they're in the middle of repeating it, I really feel you ❤️❤️❤️

Ask Game: Tonight You Belong To Me. What was your inspiration behind it?

So I saw Bob (this was back when my hyper fixation was still developing) and thought "Wow. This guy screams breeding kink." I still swear he does, it's his sad boy eyes that he will use against you when he asks "can we start trying for a baby? 🥺🥺🥺🥺"

I also was having a bout of baby fever so I was being EXTREMELY self indulgent. Plus, it was early on in my Top Gun obsession so I didn't feel comfortable writing other characters yet. So the idea of Bob coming home to his wife was perfect!

Leah! What is one fic you're proud of in particular and one fic you'd go back and rewrite if you could?

i have always been very proud of million dollar man, i think it is one of the best things i have written, i was so inspired while writing it and the words just poured out of me. i'm so glad everyone liked it as well. mdm rhett will go down in history.

i would go back and rewrite the wolf series. while i love the series and i am satisfied with its ending, i would rewrite parts of it, and completely rewrite the ending just to make it more cohesive. one day, i do plan to do a rewrite for the series, but i don't have the energy currently lol

HEAR ME OUT: Tuck Everlasting but it’s the Abbotts instead of the Tucks. The roles actually make so much sense??? Especially with Rhett = Jesse and Perry = Miles???? Absolutely!!! It makes me so happy to learn folks still care about them!!!

Jake proposed after he got back from his first deployment since getting with Venus. It was the worst deployment for Jake. Yes, he misses his family. But knowing Venus was at home waiting for him and he couldn't promise her he'd be back? It was torture. By the time the deployment was nearing the end, he was thinking of ways to avoid this in the future. That's how he came to the idea of becoming an instructor.

When Jake got home, he didn't tell Venus because he didn't want to meet her at a ship dock. No, he wanted to be able to hug her and just be with her when he got back.

She opened the door and he immediately had her in a tight hug. For a few minutes, they were just standing in the doorway, holding each other.

Jake couldn't even tell her how much he missed her without tears forming in his eyes. So instead, he just gets down on one knee and pulls out the ring he's been carrying with him the whole deployment.

"Please?" Is all he can get out.

And Venus, who knows they will need to talk about having a long engagement, says yes as she kneels down to accept the ring
