A Shopping Community for Parents
Tumblr media
Figuring out the best products is really hard. It shouldn't be! As new parents, we scour for reviews and ratings on Babycenter's gear guide, the always interesting Lucie's List and every-hilarious TheBabyGuyNYC testing out the latest baby gear. But all of this doesn't replace getting a Buy or Avoid recommendation from friends or other parents who understand us. That's the tough part. We don't believe that any one person is capable of making great recommendations to each new parent. Rather, the wisdom of the crowd (or more accurately, YOUR crowd) is pretty great at giving personalized recommendations to products. Wyzli makes it easy to find great products, and easily save and sort them. Instead of researching for 2 months, asking friends for advice in ten different ways and somehow keep it all organized, we've made it a joy to save everything, You no longer need go to ten or more place to figure out the best products, we've made it clear and simple to find them, save them and share them with the world. We want to help you be a great parent, starting with making the best shopping decisions you can, quickly and painlessly. Wyzli is here to help you discover amazing products just for your child. But we're listening, too! Tell us how we can help you as a new parent, and what are your biggest headaches.

Collect the best baby products.
Our mission at Wyzli is to help you be an awesome parent. We want to help you make better decisions, faster and with less stress. Wyzli is changing all of that by making it ridiculously easy to collect the best products for your child.
Tumblr media
Finding, gathering and organizing what baby products you need isn't easy. So many stores, registries, blogs, forums and reviews can make your head spin. Wouldn't it be nice if there was one place to go to easily find products right for you and your child, as recommended by other parents and friends? Wouldn't it be cool if you could easily save and collect everything you wanted, from any store, so that you can get to it when you wanted? Come checkout Wyzli, and save products from the best baby stores online, all to one place. You don't need to waste time building multiple baby registries, emailing yourself products or saving items to your shopping cart until ready to buy, Wyzli makes it simple to save products until you're ready to buy them, and keeps everything nice and neat along the way.

Organising your online shopping - what you own and what you want
Tumblr media
We're excited to tell you a little bit more about what we're working on at Wyzli! Isn't it weird that you can't easily see everything you bought online, in one place? Isn't it strange that you can't easily save and collect ideas and products from any store, all to one spot? And don't you wish you could have a shopping 'dashboard', where you could simply organize and view everything you want and everything you own, all in a single location? Wyzli does just that. Save and collect baby products from (almost) any retailer, by using our simple bookmark tool or saving products other parents have added to Wyzli with one click. Instantly see all of your own purchases come to life, by connecting Wyzli to your email inbox (where you get your e-receipts), and watch as Wyzli auto-magically imports your shopping and smartly organizes it for you. Your Wyzli profile is your shopping dashboard, letting you save, collect and view all of your shopping in one simple and easy spot. We'd love to hear what you think! Lots more good stuff to come!

Baby Shopping is a pain - we're going to fix it
Tumblr media Tumblr media
When my wife and I were expecting our son, we were both anxious and overwhelmed. Looking up 'car seat' on Amazon gave us the sweats, and we started realizing that we were totally unprepared for this parenting thing. Everytime we ran into another 'newborn necessity' we felt vertigo - which stroller, which monitor, what's a onesie - and it went on and on. We interrogated our friends, scraped the bottom of the interwebs for reviews and ratings and built elaborate excel sheets, all to try and figure out what we needed and which products would suit us best. After our son was born, it didn't end. The initial mountain of purchases segwayed into an ongoing stream of daily trips to Amazon or the like. In many ways, the shopping became more challenging. Newborns have a pretty set list of things they need, but what do you buy a 6 month old? What are the best developmental toys for 18mo? Which products do we need right now? It all kept coming back to a very simple truth - we just want to know what parents like us have already figured out, at every stage of our child's life. Turns out, this is no small feat, and baby shopping (or shopping in general) has never gotten the Netflix/Pandora/Tripadvisor treatment of personalized on-demand recommendations based on like-minded people and their taste. So, we decided to build just that - a community for new parents to find, share and discover great products for their children, at the right time and age. Wyzli is easy baby shopping search, where all the products are actually purchased or added by your friends or parents like you! We're excited to introduce you to Wyzli, and hope it will make your life easier (the baby shopping part anyway). Tell us what you think or how we can improve it for you. It'd mean the world to us if you'd share Wyzli with your friends and family or on parenting communities or facebook groups! Continue on Wyzli now Happy shopping! Steve Co-founder, Wyzli.com

Online shopping in 2014
We still can't see what our friends own. It's pretty much impossible to get reviews from friends on their purchases. Asking them for help requires jumping through hoops. What gives, Internet circa 2014? That gives us an idea... This is just the start of something awesome. Let's start talking. Steve Avery and the Wyzli team.
