It’s Christmas eve, your favorite time of the year were you get to spend time with your family, telling stories and all that jazz expect.. this time your are spending it with your lovely boyfriend Carl grimes. Who is currently laying down next to you giving you small kisses on your neck trying to wake you up

“Babe.. babe.. wake up” he said between kisses but all you did was turned around your back facing him making him let out a sigh before smirking having an idea on how to wake you up

Moving his hand to your side he starts tickling you making you scream in laughter “Okay! Okay! Stop! I’m awake ” You said still laughing trying to push him away, but he only brings you back tickling you even more. As he stops tickling you, he grabs your shoulder, turning you to face him while smiling at you

Moving your hair away from your face putting the strand of your hair behind your ear giving you a small smile he leans in giving you a kiss on the forehead before pulling away moving his head down to your neck wrapping his arms around your waist pulling you closer to his body

Letting out sigh loving this moment with you “Sweetheart?” He mumbled on your neck letting out a hum as you began playing with hair Shuddering at the feeling of your finger playing his hair he lift his head a bit looking at your face “You know I love you, right?” He said looking into your eyes

“Yeah, and I love you too. You know that right?”

Hearing your response, he leans in, his nose brushes against yours, his lips finally touched yours, kissing you. You smiled into the kiss as you kiss him back tilting your head to the side making him kiss you deeper when he pulled away you were about to open your eyes but closes them again as you feel him giving you small kisses on your face making you giggling

“I have a surprise for you” he said, sitting up on the bed, grabbing something from the other side of the bed you sit up in confusion “But it’s not Christmas yet it’s not until tonight” You said to him as you see a small box on his hand wrapped up in red Christmas wrapping “Yeah I know, but I couldn’t wait any longer plus today is our one year anniversary.” He said giving you the Christmas gift

Smiling you unwrapped the red wrapping paper once that was done you open the box seeing a beautiful ring. The ring was a mirror-like sliver was glistening clean with arc structure encased with small diamonds. The main part of the ring had two separate diamond held together in a portrait form while the top diamond was bigger and the other being smaller.

“Do you like it?” He nervously asked he didn’t know what kind of ring you like so he got the prettiest one. He’s been saving his money for the couple past months to get the perfect promise ring for you and he really hoped you like- love it

“I love it. Oh my god thank you” you said hugging him before moving back to your spot. Carl grabbed the box taking out the ring and grabbed your hand putting it on your finger

You were smiling so hard your cheeks were starting to hurt so much from smiling but you didn’t care you love the ring so much you kept admiring it as Carl looks at you with love in his eyes

He swear to himself that one day he’ll marry you..

Summary: Carl who’s sweet (sometimes) has a crush on you who he secretly admires from afar. You on the other hand is a troublemaker along with your friends. He sees you running away from the cops due to stealing and decides to help you hide from the cops.

Note: just a cute little story also there no outbreak aka no walkers!

Carl was walking down the road having a good day he thought why not go to the store to get some snacks for himself but shortly after the walk it was taking forever annoying him. So he took a shortcut he knew the roads and the hiding places very well since he grew up around here for his whole life since he was a babie

Almost reaching to the store he stopped walking noticing a purple haired girl.. you. His crush who he secretly admires from afar. His purpler haired girl. His girl who’s a troublemaker along with her friends who were currently running away from the cops smiling and laughing holding bags full of stolen candies and drinks

He notice you taking another route separating you from your friend’s with one cop running after you. He knew the route there would be a dead end, but there was a small alley just for you to run through if you looked to the side. he didn’t know what he was doing until his own two feet started running the other way around.

He knew it was a bad idea but this was his chance to finally talk to you even if it means you running away from a cop and him helping you. He didn’t care. He was tired of admiring you from afar.

Finally after running some time he went through the small alley right on time grabbing your wrist pulling you into the alley. You letting out a small yelp causing him to cover your mouth his hand, pushing you against the brick wall. The one hand grabbing your wrist let’s go putting it behind your head so it wouldn’t hit the brick wall behind you

“Shit! We lost her boss.” They both hear the female cop say to the radio both teens breathing heavily from the run. Your chest’s almost touching, his hand still against your mouth. Hearing footsteps coming closer Carl put his hand down from your mouth as he pulled you closer to him one of his arm around your waist the other around your shoulder to hide your face against his neck making you hold your breath

Carl’s heart was beating so fast he was afraid that you could hear it. He was so close to you to the point he could smell your perfume and the scent of your shampoo

Once hearing the footsteps of the cop faint away he move’s away trying to steady his heartbeat from being to close to you “How did you? How?” You asked him shaking your head a bit you were so confused on how he knew you were here running from a cop

Waving his hand around “I saw you run out of the store and well I basically saw everything” he said gulping a bit as he looked into your eyes. Tilting your head to the side you let out small chuckle “Well thank you..?” She trailed off not knowing his name he might gotten the hint since he stuttered his name out mentally cursing himself inside his head

“Uh.. Carl..my name is Carl” he answered putting his hands inside of his front pockets while you just nodded giving him a small smile “I’m y/n” you said slightly admiring him, noticing how his blue eyes that are the color of the ocean water “Yeah, I know.” He said not realizing what he said but after he realized what he said his eyes widen

“No- not like that you know I just.. crap..” he said stuttering his words making your heart flutter “Let me guess you know cause me and my friends steal things and cops run after us when they get the chance?” You explained only to receive a nod from him letting out a hum you stand up straight ready to leave “Thank you for helping me Carl.. I really appreciate” You said one last time ready to leave

But before you could leave Carl grabbed onto your wrist making you turn back at him looking confused “Will I be seeing you again?” He asked, hoped lingering in his eyes letting go of your wrist missing the warmth of your skin already “Maybe but if I do see you around I’ll repay you for helping me hide from the cop.” You said giving him on last smile turning around leaving him alone in the alley

As Carl only watches you walking away from him. A smile form on his facing walking away as well hoping he’ll get to you see again but under different circumstances obviously
