Hello fellow people of Tumblr. So me and my bestie @rice-cake-teen10 experienced something kinda…jarring, uncomfy and weird yesterday revolving around a certain…‘friend group?’ I’m not entirely sure what the hell they are tbh…

So yesterday afternoon I got a text from @/cherry-blossom-sweetheart…which was…odd. I didn’t know who this person was and looking at their account, there was no way to see if they were a minor or adult. But what really threw me off was that they’ve been on Tumblr since 2024 but…haven’t posted all that much.

So, like the mature being I was…I ✨procrastinated✨ to think about what to say to them and scrolled through Fatima’s blog (my happy place frfr 🙏🏾💕) only to find out…the same EXACT person was engaging with her…

…Hhhrrrhhrhrmmmm…

COINCIDENCE⁉️⁉️⁉️ I THINK NOT‼️‼️‼️

This is how our convo went:

I didn’t get to screenshot a part but to sum it up: she was basically talking about how her and @rice-cake-teen10 were the bestest BESTEST of friends…

…Which…again, was odd; cuz I’ve known Fatima since she first CAME onto Tumblr.

So, like the friend I was…I immediately went to text Fatima about it…cuz duh. And she was bordeline confused too lol:

Which, in the beginning the message was super sweet but as Fatima and I kept talking and she kept updating me, she told me that @/cherry-blossom-sweetheart started pushing herself onto her and trying to make themselves best friends with her.

Mind you: WE’VE NEVER INTERACTED WITH THIS PERSON BEFORE.

So, as Fatima started getting more and more uncomfy, I sent a text to @/cherry-blossom-sweetheart (ignore by misspells 💔…)

Straight to the point.

And after talking, me and Fatima decided to block her and just go on with our day and yap like the lil yappers we are 😛:

And so, fed up with these random strangers I replied:

And decided to handle the situation myself. This is where things get kinda messy so if you want to read ahead by all means do. Just read top box to bottom box through the columns.

So uh…yeah. I blocked some things off for privacy reasons but left the rest to prove a point. My point? We’re better than this. Like bsfr…

This might sound harsh but I don’t care what trauma you have…you do NOT hurt someone else just because you’re hurting. The amount of people I’ve talked to on here who always try to use their trauma as an excuse to inflict pain on others is utterly disgusting.

If you know you are hurting do NOT seek out people just to hurt others PERIOD. If someone doesn’t want to be your friend (for good reasons) suck it up and go find other friends!!! Don’t go threatening to kill yourself. Like seriously.

And don’t go guilt tripping either. Like…this made me so mad and infuriated but as a lot of my friends know I’m a really big empath. I often (almost all the time) experience people’s emotions and feelings as if they were my own. I didn’t block her because I genuinely felt bad and I felt obligated to help to help this person. But after getting yelled at and being put in a…very scary situation I kinda don’t know what to feel know.

Although I am happy to admit that I’m glad it was me and not Fatima. Fatima is one of my best friends on here and I suggested her to block these people for this sole reason because something like THIS happening to one of my close friends makes me sick.

Do better you guys. What some of you are doing behind your posts isn’t okay. People are deactivating, hurting and killing themselves because of people like this. Threatening to hurt yourself to get someone to do what you want is not a step to friendship or love and it’s not fair. That kind of pressure isn’t just unhealthy—it’s emotional manipulation. It puts people in an impossible position, where they feel responsible for your safety instead of their own boundaries. No one deserves to be guilted into staying, helping, or forgiving just because they’re afraid of what you might do. That’s not how care works.

You don’t get to hurt someone and then decide when they should stop being upset. An apology isn’t a reset button—it’s just the start of taking responsibility. If someone’s still hurt, that’s fucking valid. You don’t get to act like the victim just because they didn’t forgive you on your own damn timeline. If you truly meant your apology, you’d give them space, not pressure them to move on just so you can feel better.

Fucking shitty assholes; and this just occurred to me last night when I was talking about it with @ziipzeepzop-eez but they could just be LYING. It’s the internet for crying out loud.

For obvious reasons, my fics are on fucking hold. I’m tired of this site and I honestly wish we were still back in 2022 where people had some SENSE on here.
