Just sitting here thinking about how nice it is to have more than one room that’s my space
I have strawberry plants starting off on my kitchen table and a rose plant on my windowsill that my grandad would’ve loved. I made fresh cinnamon rolls for Sunday morning breakfast and my clothes and sheets smell of the fabric softener that I chose. There’s no more room left on the top of my fireplace because I have so many ‘New House’ cards. My cutlery drawer is organised in a way that makes sense to me but I still catch myself reaching for a teaspoon from the wrong section out of habit.
It’s nice to have somewhere that really feels like it’s mine.
