TLOU Headcanon: Everyday on Sarah’s birthday, Joel sings her favorite song in her memory.

Headcanon

Tess being a part time dance instructor during her college years to help pay off some of her tuition. Regrettably she tells Joel one drunken night, and ever since he never misses the chance to call her “twinkle toes”, which usually results in a playful punch to the gut.

TLOU headcanon:

Ellie sometimes would worry about how Joel would feel about her if he knew she was in love with Riley.

Homophobia in general is less of a problem since the apocalypse started, but some people still openly expressed their dislike of same sex relationships in Ellies school.  She often wondered what Joel thought.

Ellies worrying is mostly for nothing.  It wouldn’t change the way Joel sees her.  It might make him uncomfortable to talk about, it’s not something hes used to discussing, and it wasn’t brought up much in his life even before the outbreak.

Well my friend and I were talking about this and she said, “What if she’s Sam’s daughter?” GUYS IM FREAKING OUT I AM 100% HERE FOR THIS H E L P M E

Headcanon that once Tommy and Joel explain to her what a tattoo is (“people get them on their bodies for fun, or sometimes to represent something personal in their lives - but they’re on there forever so a lot of people end up regrettin’ em) Ellie thinks about this for weeks deciding if she would ever want one. Then one day she goes outside and just looks around at the flowers growing and the green grass blooming in the wasteland of their home and she knows.

"I want a branch with leaves…for my tattoo…if I ever got one” she tells Joel.

“An whys that”

“Because even though everything went to shit, the grass still grows and the flowers still bloom and fight to live and grow…kinda like us don’t you think?”

And then she’s certain, she’d never regret that. She even knows the perfect spot for one.
