Chris's stunt had certainly gathered some attention (though not as much as Haruka's bigger stunt). Whether or not she'd expected it, the attention still annoyed her,so that she continued to ignore the Spican furiously. Well, until somebody slipped a not onto her desk.
For a moment she looked at it, grew a little flustered, and tried to decide what to do. Then, in a fit of rage, she crumpled up the note. When the teacher wasn't looking, she threw it at Haruka's head. Then, she gave Haruka a challenging stare. It'd take more than that to win her over!

[ ooc: a lot of people seem to have disappeared ): it is good to see you're still around though! :D ]
Hey everyone!
I feel so bad, not replying here, like at all.
With the admins gone, it feels like there’s really no motivation to come back here.
I-I’ll try my best to come back and Roleplay but..
There’s only one person who roleplays with me here- Well! Technically two but…
I’m very sorry. I’ll try harder.

As they entered the classroom, Chris pushed herself away from Haruka and freed herself, smoothing down her dress before going to her seat. She crossed her arms as she sat, leaning back in her chair with a huff. Let stupid Haruka invade this class. Chris didn't care! She was probably just after the attention of all the other girls, anyways. Even the teacher...
"Yeah, yeah," she grumbled noncommittally in response, making a point not to look at Haruka anymore. Haruka was so fond of attention - well, Chris would see how long she could last without it. Even if all the other girls fawned over her, Chris was pointedly ignoring the taller girl.

Hey Babe! Otori sends her greetings ;D
I thought I told you to stop teasing!

"Hey-!" But before she could protest, Haruka kept going, and even wrapped her arms around Chris's waist. If she'd been having trouble thinking clearly before, this- this certainly didn't help. She hit Haruka's arms a few times to try and distract both of them from how much she was blushing. Stupid Haruka- stupid Haruka resting her stupid head on hers- stupid Haruka always flirting with her- stupid, stupid Haruka-!
Before she knew it they'd arrived at the classroom. In some weird way, she was disappointing. (Stupid Haruka and her stupid romantic walks). Chris noticed the look between the Spican and the teacher - really? - before considering the offer. "You're always looking to get me in trouble, aren't you?" she sighed, frowning dramatically. It wasn't a yes, but it was far from a no.

"That's a stupid saying," Chris remarked casually. "Keep your enemies close? Hah! If you keep them too close they're start to find out your weaknesses. It's better to keep yourself mysterious." She shrugged, not really aware of how strange her statement had been.
Chris cast a suspicious, irritated glare up at Haruka as she focused on some more troublesome girls. "I can take care of myself, you know," she protested, pushing back on the girls slightly as they bumping into them. Let them try her one more time, really... "I don't need you to keep looking out for me!"

"H-hey, are you really such a thief?" Chris protested, trying to keep herself from seeming too flustered. Her deep blush didn't really help with that impression, though. Was Haruka really...? No, no way. Right?
"I thought you two were rivals," she pointed out when she'd settled down a little. Still, the idea of Haruka talking to Amane somehow made her nervous. "What would you even say to her, anyways-" a girl bumped into Chris, clearly trying to push her. Too bad for the girl that Chris was not so easily pushed. Chris clenched her fists, trying to hold back from pushing the girl back - if not worse. "Aaah, people these days, huh...?" Chris grumbled, sighing deeply. How had she ended up in this mess, anyways?

Chris hesitated for a moment, fiddling almost nervously with the silk still tied to her wrist. What could she really say? And besides, how could Haruka understand? She had that - girl she'd mentioned - but all this with Amane was so complicated, and, and... "Every time I talk to her, it just... ends the same," she admitted mournfully, and then shook her head. "Maybe it is better if I don't see her for a while."
Even so, Haruka didn't seem intent on lingering on the subject for long, so why should Chris? Then again, the girls she'd met earlier was hardly a happier topic. "I don't know! They just-" but she was interrupted by a kiss on the cheek. "H-hey!" Chris stammered, completely flustered, and tried to push herself away why blushing. "Don't tease me like that!"

In truth, Chris had barely seen Amane since that vacation. She wasn't sure what the Étoile was up to, but it obviously wasn't any of the things she was suppose to be doing. "I didn't know about any of that," she said somberly, looking up at the sky for a moment.
Chris sighed, frowning slightly and dropping her gaze to the ground in worry. What was Amane thinking? But she couldn't do anything right now. She glanced back to Haruka, gaze a little guarded. "You want to talk about this, but I don't know what there is to talk about. You - should talk to her instead. I don't know what you expect from me."

"You can call me Chris, you know," she mentioned casually, noticing that their conversation was heading down a more serious path. Haruka was avoiding the question! And she was getting so careful and being so suspicious and-
-oh.
"Who's the girl?" Chris asked, partially curious and partially trying to delay the inevitable. Hadn't Haruka mentioned some girl before? Oh well. There was always some girl with her. But, this... Chris glanced away, keeping calm. She'd been denying everything up until now anyways, why did this have to be any different? "Me and Ôtori-san? I don't know what you're talking about."

"I assumed you were busy," Chris quipped, pouting slightly as Haruka abused her height to pat Chris's head. The indignity! Oh well. She'd come to expect it. Besides, she could always find a way to get back at the taller girl.
As Haruka drew her closer those thoughts vanished from her mind, though. For a moment she was stunned, and then struggled to get out. Her attempts didn't last to long, though, because - well, this was kind of nice. Chris calmed, letting Haruka embrace her. "Fine, fine," she huffed.
Still, something had been bothering her. "You seem more depressed than usual," Chris commented, glancing briefly up at the Spican. "It's not quite like you. Something bothering you?"
