Papercraft commission of Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian (and Li'l Apple and a bunny), in a pose inspired by Gustav Klimt's famous painting The Kiss! Lan Wangji may be a little disgruntled at being interrupted, but Wei Wuxian is, of course, laughing the whole time.

This piece had some of the most complicated layering I've ever done in a papercraft, which meant I had to take even more care than usual with how every piece of paper was placed and the order in which they could be glued - and I already take a lot of care with that, no matter what I'm making! But the extra time was definitely worth it - I'm really happy with how the final piece came out. ^_^ A very sweet scene for WangXian!

Just! The what-ifs! The mutual fierce dedication to their families and to their intrinsically opposing duties! The recognition of that in each other! The respect therein! Their eyes meeting in silent acknowledgment that this unspoken Thing could have existed between them (she took the comb!!!) but not in this world (she gives it back!!!!!!). I just. I’ve been in this fandom for like a year and a half and I’m still going feral over it

Anyway, I tried to pour some of that into this piece! Got some Extreme Hand-Holding and Intense Yearning Gazes for y’all.

Papercraft Sokka (with boomerang)!! He sold at the con last weekend. For his facial expression, I waffled back and forth between this big grin and a more serious, battle-ready expression - both modes are important to his character, after all! - but as you can see, went with the smile in the end. Sokka can be serious, but I like it best when he's cheerful!

A follow-up commission to this piece! Here's Siktar after Plot Things happened, whereupon he became an undead god-impersonating Big Bad! Before-and-after artworks like these are very fun to draw; I love hearing about plot progressions. :D

An ink/color commissions of Siktar, the Big Bad in the client's ongoing DnD campaign! This is him back when he was a regular grandmaster of a monk order plotting a regular old regicide, before A Bunch Of Backstory Stuff then went down. I have another drawing of him that I'll post in a little while. ^_^
