Bio: A solitary cat who usually keeps to himself, in public he can be overzealous and impulsive which often gets him into trouble. What should be easy, everyday tasks like shopping become unusual, action-packed situations beyond his control, and those are on a good day.

Despite being a well-known magnet for chaos, no one seems to know what they actually do for a living, but he's often seen around town thrifting for unusual items such as hard to find video games, movies or action figures.

Meet JJ the owl! He likes his gummy worms 🦉🐛

Bio: A chill owl with a knowitall attitude, he works as an overnight electronics repairman thanks to his nocturnal nature. Known to unintentionally startle people with his glowing eyes and uncanny ability to appear out of nowhere.

He fell into his DVD rental shop job by accident, but stuck with it because of the near-infinite supply of free movies and snacks (especially his favourite brand of gummy worms called “Scrummies”) as well as getting to hang out with his possum partner Brenda.

Everyone, meet Brenda the Possum! 🤙💗🐀 (Model sheet, sketch and 2 different picture crops)

Bio: Brenda is a grumpy possum who works at a local movie rental shop, disliking the presence of pretty much every customer that enters through the door and prefers to keep to herself. 

She’s prone to freezing and playing dead when startled, or just willingly does it to avoid confrontation. Despite that she enjoys the workplace dynamic with her owl partner JJ, as he somehow brings out a more sensitive side of her that's rarely seen by others.

Well, sometimes.
