Mostly. Sometimes he'd say something about how he was hoping you were running the camp okay alone. He didn't like leaving you alone for so long. He told me how you two met and your history, how proud he is of you, how strong you are, how much he loves you. Things like that. It wasn't one sided, I gave him some information about me as well. .. / -.. --- -. .----. - / .-. . -- . -- -... . .-. / -- ..- -.-. .... .-.-.-

You two are insufferable. Clancy couldn't stop talking about you yesterday, Torchbearer. It was annoying.

Journal entry #11 We returned from our trip a few hours ago, after dinner had been served to the camp, but not late enough for people to have gone to sleep. Clancy was kind enough to enter the camp nearest to my tent, so I wouldn't have to see too many people. The Torchbearer made his way towards our location on the outskirts of the camp once he saw Clancy and I had arrived. We were carrying a deer that we had slaughtered. The Torchbearer, or "Torch" as Clancy refers to him, had made some sort of gestures that Clancy understood. Clancy relayed the day's journey, as the Torchbearer listened intently, glancing towards me every once in a while. "It was pretty chill, a whole lot of walking. But that gave us some time to chat, and get to know each other better. Well- it was mostly me talking and Seven staying silent but that still counts." The Torchbearer made some more signals with his hands, different than the last time. He glanced toward me in the middle of his hand-dance. I must have not hid my intrigue very well because he suddenly stopped whatever he was doing, and then looked at Clancy while nodding his head towards my direction. Clancy looked and understanding dawned on his face. "Oh, right! I told Seven here about you signing earlier. They were very intrigued at the notion. It seems they didn't know you could communicate without using your voice," Clancy informed the Torchbearer. "It seems they also struggle with speaking like you do, Torch. Maybe you could teach 'em sometime?" Torch got very excited with this new information, and nodded with enthusiastic effort. He seems very passionate about the proposal. I won't deny I am also looking forward to be able to converse without straining my voice. There was idle chatter between the two, for a few minutes before Clancy had closed the conversation with, "Love catching up with you, but this deer is killing my back, so let's go bring it to the butcher's tent and we can talk on the way there." Clancy turned towards me and said, "Seven, you can go in your tent if you want, Torch and I got this." I took the offer and opened the flaps of the tent next to us, laying down on the cot at the back of the room. I tried to go to sleep as I was exhausted from the physical exertion I had just undergone, but as much as I tried I could not quiet my mind. I kept thinking back to the trip. It was fine, mostly. As Clancy had said, it was quiet and almost boring for the majority of the day. Clancy filled the silence with talking, and I listened to his rambles of whatever came to his mind. Occasionally we'd hear a snapping of twigs or rustling of leaves and we'd go quiet in search of an animal, but it we came up empty for most of it. Still, the further we got out into the woods, the more unsettled I became. A stench had followed us, it seemed. One achingly familiar. Death. Not fresh. Rotting. Clancy had smelled it too, after I'd asked him about it. He'd assured me it was nothing, probably some old carcass the scavengers of the forest hadn't finished, but no matter where we went, I could still smell its pungent odor. Clancy didn't mention it after that first time, but I could tell afterwards he was more alert and wary of his surroundings. He'd even went so far as to put me behind him when a noise came echoing through the forest. I'm sure it was nothing.

Journal entry #10 Clancy informed me this morning that we will be leaving tomorrow. I am feeling a mix of emotions. After a lot of deliberation, I think I've figured out exactly what I'm feeling. I'm excited first and foremost. It will be nice to get out of the tent and stretch my wings. Speaking of, I believe they are healing nicely. The nurse said that I just need time. I am reminded of when I went through a similar experience in the City. This experience has been more pleasant at least. Then I'm anxious, for many reasons. Being alone with a stranger I hardly know about, while being injured and unable to properly defend myself is one of them. Being with said stranger in a place they are familiar with while I am not is another. Fear, is the next feeling. Nearly overwhelming at times. I hadn't considered it when I suggested it to Clancy, but the thought stumbled upon my mind while waiting for the morning to come. They could be waiting for me. I don't know why they haven't seized me yet, or tried to find me at all either. It appears that way at least. What are they waiting for? Is it because I am in the heart of the Banditos? Are they too afraid of them to come for me? Хіба я ніколи не був для них важливим? Чи це все була брехня, щоб тримати мене в кайданах?

Hey kid! I got the go ahead from Torch to have you go out hunting! Slight stipulation: I'm coming with you. We'll be leaving in a day or two, okay?
Don't call me kid. But, I can understand that. I'm a liability, and you two need to make sure I won't pull something. ...Thank you. I appreciate it.

Fine. I trust you to make good on your word. He said he doesn't love you any less.
CLANCY HAS FEATHERS???
Other universes of him dont
Tf???
Uhh?? Yea? I don't know about other universes but...Clancy got transformed a while ago. Must be over a decade by now.
Jenna said it was some virus or something that's super rare, and he had been the only one that survived the process.
Until Seven crashed into our camp, that is. They also have a blog I think, Clancy told me he'd set them up with one. @017625 I believe.
He's got wings and talons and little bird feet too.

Why are you bugging me with this? Have you even asked the Torchbearer yet about what we talked about?

Tribellion is the city you told me about, yes? Doesn't seem like a nice place if you are forced to be there. I don't think anyone should be forced to be anywhere. Push on through, Cain.
You seem to be having fun recently. How are you doing, Cain? You worried me there for a minute, when someone said they took over your blog because you were kidnapped. Are you safe? Did someone come save you?
I have more freedom in the city of Tribellion. I am still forced to be here. I am doing okay. I met a man called Fanilo. He is someone that is friends with Clancy. I do not know when Clancy will arrive, but I feel like I can hang on until he arrives.

Journal entry #9 The next morning after I got a suggestion from someone on my blog, I asked Clancy if I could help with hunting some food for the camp. His eyes lit up and a goofy grin spread across his face, "Yeah?" he said. I rolled my eyes trying to be as nonchalant as I could get, saying "I mean...if you guys could use the help... or whatever." I tried my best to hide my restlessness but I think he could see through my facade. "I'll have to ask Torch, but I don't see there being any problem. Would be good to get you out of this tent," Clancy said, gesturing with his hands to the small confines of the place I'd been staying in for weeks now. I nodded in agreement, as I shoved a spoonful of the soup he had given me earlier. I hope my skills will be useful.

if you sEe A citizen wearing yellow, or carrying a yellow flower, they Should be able To answer some of your questions. i suppose, if you wanted to, i could try my best to provide Information, even if i'm Still new to this. yoU may not like the answers Provided.
I’m sorry for not having said much lately. I just can’t seem to find anything to talk about. I’ve been thinking so much about what I’ve been told lately.
Father doesn’t look here. I’m pretty sure he’s just too busy to. Or he doesn’t care. I’m not sure.
I just don’t get why everyone has been saying these things about him. That he’s bad. He would never hurt me. Why? Why would he ever hurt me?
Gods, everything feels backwards now. I just wish I understood more.

Hunting sounds like a good idea. I'm...good at hunting. Not sure about the "maid" thing though. Might be too big to fit into the smaller tents...
Would anyone here have any suggestions on what I could do to help around camp while staying away from people? .. / -. . . -.. / - --- / --. . - / --- ..- - / --- ..-. / - .... .. ... / - . -. - .-.-.-

They pout at the thought of this- random person by all accounts- caring enough about them to consider that they might not want to be near people, or just keep themselves hidden in general. Going somewhere might be nice, they had no luck finding anything to hunt after all. They consider the options.
This is a new person after all, they can't be trusted. Then again, they are a Bandito, which means they likely aren't in any danger. They probably shouldn't go with them, be led to someplace they don't know, (unlike now where they know exactly where they are), but Clancy and Torch's encouragement to "mingle" with the Bandito's echo in their mind. They both would want them to do this...right?
Shifting the weight of their body from foot to foot they ponder for a few seconds, before they remember- isn't this person her in the first place to forage for camp? The Bandito can't just stop everything to bring them to some random hill?
Not wanting to strain their voice, they resort to pointing at the basket of berries, nuts, and plants while arching one eyebrow up and furrowing the other in a questioning look towards the berry-filled basket.

Firefly was always pleased to be part of the gathering trips. Dangerous as they might be, sending a group so far into the woods away from the camp itself, they couldn't help but adore the scent of filtered tree air. Flavored with the heat of the day and the leftover taste of bread on their mouth, dragging a basket to haul nuts, berries, and fibrous plants for weaving, Firefly hopped over a nearby log with a cheer.
"Hey Hey!" Their voice was a pitched and friendly chime as they moved through the bushes, the form beyond them marred and blurry past their vision. Surely it was another Bandito, though!
Hopefully it was
Their red stained mouth opened in a smile that revealed blackberry seeds as one hand messily held a pile of ripe ones. "You're not supposed to be alone, my guy! Two at a time, lets gooooo-! You want to go get the blackberries with me? They're literally perfect to take back. Oh! You think we could make a pie with them if we got enough?!"

Well, this seemed to be going well. Plucking berries from an offered hand like, well, like an actual bird. Sure, fresh meat would obviously taste better, more satisfying but it was a nice change of pace. And it helped just slightly to calm their never ending hunger.
They end up getting berry guts all over their mouth and fangs, a poor imitation of what it feels like to rip apart something living. They're always chasing that high.
Then the idea of eating people gets sprung into their mind by this mystery-berry-person. Not only just, people but the person standing in front of them as well. Both parties quirk their faces in disgust, a mirror reflecting back to each other. Though a part of them wonders what being "burnt inside" would taste like...they don't think they've eaten someone before, but that doesn't mean they aren't...tempted sometimes. It's what they were designed for.
Pulled from their thoughts, this kind stranger asks if they are alone. Why would they care? These Banditos are all so...soft. They don't think they'll ever get used to it.
Saving their voice as much as possible they nod their head quickly as they lick off some of the berry juice still on their lips and chin. After a quick few swipes of their tongue, they opt to wipe the rest off with the pads of their palm.
