Starkid hot take

I'm kind of tired of Hatchetfield.

don't get me wrong I still love Hatchetfield and everything about it, but we've had Hatchetfield stuff since 2018 now, that's 7 years.

The thing is that we've only gotten one break from Hatchetfield, Cinderella's Castle, that was good and I was excited to see more and with space baby? I was stoked for all the other stuff. But right after Cinderella we are back in Hatchetfield with TGWDLM:R

The only comparison I can have is with AVPM because that's the only other series they have (unless you count Starship: Requiem, but not even Starkid counts that) with AVPM, none of them were in a row, it was AVPM, MAMD, AVPS, two shows (Starship and HMB), then AVPSY to end it (unless you count A Very Potter Christmas) where with Hatchetfield its gone TGWDLM, Black Friday, Nightmare Time (which I do know only happened because of covid but still) and then NPMD. No breaks at all until Cinderella but now we're back.

Also because of all the Hatchetfield I feel like so many people are forgetting about the other stuff, like we quickly forgot about Cinderella, no one really talks about AVPM, Starship, HMB, or any of the old stuff really. (yes I do know people still talk about them but its a lot less then it used to be)

Again I'm not mad with all the Hatchetfield stuff, I love Hatchetfield and everything in it, but I feel like its just coming all at once with no breaks and for the people who still want to talk about the older stuff they don't really get a chance because not many others do. the amount of AVPM or Starship posts I've done that have little to no attraction compared too the Hatchetfield stuff is a lot, the first time I got more then two interactions was a drawing of grace, and its sadly still that way.

so I guess what I'm trying to say here is if your in the Starkid fandom, please try to be apart of more then the Hatchetfield fandom, because its called the Starkid fandom for a reason

ok so I'm writing an avpm fanfic were its like the kids of the characters going to school, except I've never read cursed child and I'm only really just stealing their names.

but i need help because im going to keep Scorpius a Slytherin, and I'll probably make Wang Mu (Voldemort and Quirrells kid) a Slytherin too, Albus is going to be a Gryffindor because I said so, but idk what to make Ron and Hermione's kid, I looked it up and her name is rose, and she's a Gryffindor, but should i keep her a Gryffindore, make her a Ravenclaw or a Hufflepuff.

if she's a Ravenclaw I would just make her smart and kind of like a Herman jr, and if she's a particularly good finder Hufflepuff she would be more like a Ron jr but with a lot of find jokes, and if she's a Gryffindor she'll probably still be a Herman jr or something (i will give her more character but like that's the base of what I'm thinking)

okay re-watched starship, and re-learned that there is a life reprise?!?!? and I went on youtube and found like two videos (those are in the description of the youtube video) but I decided to post it so more people can remember this because I never see it in song rankings and stuff, where i have seen beauty reprise in (some) song rankings, and honestly i prefer this song to beauty reprise.

I had a silly lil thought

the meaning of the "golden rule" in twisted is much better than the meaning of the "golden rule" that we're taught.

the one we're taught is to "treat other the way we want to be treated." many may take this as a sign to only treat others well because they'll supposedly get the same in return.

in twisted- the golden rule, lyrically, is, "before you harm your fellow man ask this question first: how would you wish that he treat you if your fortunes were reversed?" Which basically is saying that consider how you would feel if you were in that person's shoes and they were in yours. if they hurt/talked badly about you like you were about to do to them, how would that feel? especially with them in your position and you in theirs

maybe it'll come back threefold, but that's not the point at all.

instead of encouraging selfishness, twisted's version of the golden rule encourages consideration of others thoughts and feelings!
