From the Corner of His Eye - Dean Koontz
So hi! This is the first book review I'm gonna be givin so I'll start with one of my faves. This is the first book I've fully read from my favorite author, Dean Koontz :) -What's it about? A boy who was born into tragedy but a prodigy throughout his life is being hunted by a ruthless man who learns his mortal enemy's name, Bartholomew (which is the boy's name of course). The hunt consumed the man's life as a young girl, who was born from a brutal rape, attains a destiny mysteriously linked to Bartholomew. Bartholomew's journey featured suspense, adventure, humor, and courage. -My comments: If yall are interested in heart-stopping suspense I suggest you read this. The characters just seem so wonderfully real that you find yourself drawn to them and actually hearing them from the pages. The plot is woven in an intriguing manner and Koontz's way of writing is heart-melting. Though it is over 700 pages, you can definitely finish it in one sitting because the story itself is fast-paced. However, Koontz is a very colorful writer and I will not recommend this book to people who prefer a consistent-solemn type of reading. This book is an emotional rollercoaster, and not like the ones you experience during romance novels. So there you go :) try and read Dean Koontz's From the Corner of His Eye, guys!

Random stuff to write down
That night I screamed And prayed and wept I longed for the pain That would make me forget And the cruel Fate Decided so easily That death was a path That I can't go on freely Must it be so excruciating This pathetic attempt at joy Do our minds approve That the heart is something to toy Do I have anyone else, A face, to point a finger to? A set of arms for an embrace Or something else to do. I am left with sorrow But not of this feeling But the very fact That I let myself be this deceiving.

Like a Humming Bird
In the presence of the soul, Which makes our mind ache with longing; Our heart break with yearning; And breath sigh with desire, We ourselves travel to another place Where time slips as fast as water when like your heart, I grab for Those outside, looking through the lining which separates us Wishes only to go faster, to see the likes of exhilaration But like a Humming Bird, I long to have otherwise

I want to I really do But I’m too afraid Too weak I want you to hear the words I’m too terrified to speak Save me from this dark prison That I built in my sleep And maybe, just maybe Dry will be the tears I weep
