I am female, I am 24, and I am Bi. I have an Archive of Our Own account that has the same username as my blog, and I post fan fiction for various fandoms there. This blog is mostly a fandom blog, however I post a bit of everything (though I typically TRY to avoid posting politics). My main fandoms are 9-1-1, Harry Potter, Supernatural, Doctor Who, Merlin, Good Omens, Lucifer, and Marvel, but occasionally some other fandoms find their way into my posts. Warning: I do get fixations from time to time, and will post seemingly endlessly about one thing. That thing is usually Merlin. Currently, that thing is 9-1-1. I DO have some fan fics on this blog, however, they are old and mostly abandoned thanks to the fact that either I don't like how they turned out, or I lost the original paper copies of them. However, I will most likely either return to or rewrite most of them at some point. If you managed to read to the end of this novel-like bio, then I applaud you. Also, I'm sorry for making you read this much. 😂

i dont think that pool bts has anything to do with buddie but if it does, eddie should bend over the table while playing and evan ‘sure i look at a hot guy’s ass sometimes but that’s normal’ buckley should maybe walk into a wall about it. platonically

out of curiosity, does everyone have a certain type of character they get attached to or are urs random
#i tend to attach to ones that i have something in common with#like when i was still a bitty baby closeted bi i latched onto dean winchester#and then my autism won out and i shifted to Cas after season 3#...which is probably the same reason i glued myself to Rook from Ben 10#and then the ADHD launched itself at Evan Buckley and screamed “catch me!”#sometimes it can be random though.#like when i briefly got into 13 Reasons Why. i dont have much in common with any of those characters#so when i temporarily attached myself to that one guy (whose name i dont even remember) it was completely random#and then my attachment switched to Hannah and i had to stop watching it#because i tend to absorb traits and behaviors from my favorite characters and taking parts from the character who committed suicide...#let's just say its not the best idea for someone who used to struggle with that kind of thing#so i guess for me it really just depends#fandom

it's fascinating to me when people announce they're leaving a fandom. personally if ive ever had even a passing interest in a piece of media that baby is taking up permanent residence in my brain. there are shows i haven't watched in 15 years that i would still consider myself a fan of if it happened to come up in conversation. what do you mean you can just leave. how.

Gentle reminder, first drafts are for putting it all on the page and out of your head. First drafts are for telling. Later drafts are for showing. So keep writing that first draft. You've got this.

This is a reminder that your work's popularity has nothing to do with it's quality!!!! Just because you might not have a lot of readers doesn't mean your work isn't amazing.

It's incredible to me how we, as writers, can wear so many skins.
We write as genders, not our own, in worlds that don't exist.
We slip into the bodies of the powerful, the ruthless, the fearless, while sitting in a one-bedroom apartment, praying for stable WiFi.
Writers are shapeshifters. Necromancers. Magicians. We build universes out of coffee and anxiety.
Writers are incredible, and I will die on that hill.

The most annoying thing that happens while you're writing is... forgetting the word but knowing the vibe.
I am not lying when I say, I spent 5-10 mins repeatedly trying to grab something out of air just to remember 'reach out'.
Like why does my brain work like that.

Writing is basically falling in love with an idea,
then immediately doubting if you're good enough for it.
Love at first sight quickly turns into anxiety at first paragraph.

i opened my doc, stared at it, switched tabs to tumblr, came back and closed my doc before realising i didnt actually get any writing done
is this the writing equivalent to walking into a room and then forgetting what you wanted to do and walking out
