Skidaddle skadoodle, Frisk and Kris now wears a too too.

The strawhat crew is growing! Everyone had a lot of good suggestions for what Robin should be... NO I unfortunately decided not to make Robin a robin :( That was originally the plan but I scrapped it because it didn't feel like it really fit her character
Now we have Luffy as a sun conure, Zoro as a red tailed hawk, Nami as a baltimore oriole, Sanji as a secretary bird, and now Robin as a barn owl!

Thank you to this very patient, very photogenic slate-colored Dark-eyed Junco who let me stand around admiring him for several more minutes than birds usually give me💖

the palestinian sunbird is a small, iridescent bird found in the middle east and a small portion of africa. despite their appearance, with a specialized nectar-feeding bill, they are not closely related to hummingbirds - however, they do also have a diet that consists of nectar and insects. males are much more colorful than soft brown females.

“We need more complex female characters”
YALL COULDNT HANDLE HER

It’s crazy that her character flaw is thinking that if she ever expresses a negative emotion everyone will dislike her and yall immediately proved her right. Goddamn.

Have you ever heard of the Black Redstart? They're little birds that live throughout Eurasia, and this specific one, a male Black Redstart, has come to trust me over the past couple days. To match their diminutive size, they have very cute habits, such as bobbing while they sing and hovering over the ground. Once largely confined to mountainous areas and cliffs, they're now a common bird in towns and parks, and are the sound of the summer. Their song, most commonly delivered in the early morning and evening, consists of a 'bell-rattle' oftentimes followed by a trill that almost seems as if they're struggling to produce.
And now, you hopefully know more about Black Redstarts.
