sorry, "dead masked man" (idk if I translated that right) DOES THAT MEAN SCIPIO IS.. WHAT??!!? or it could be something completely different, either way I'm hooked. I finally have something thrilling to look forward to! And it seems you enjoyed Funke's other works, I eyed the Inkheart and Dragonrider books at the store today, but then ended up getting another Thief Lord copy because mine are way too worn and torn, and a third copy wouldn't hurt hehe. But I really really want to read her other publications, which I read are more popular... I'm just too scared to try anything new but I will come to it eventually!

Well, to start, I haven't re-read the book for a couple years (since I was in grade 10) so I might not remember everything accurately </3 But I first read it when I was in grade 6 and fell. in. love. IN LOVE!!! You know how other people have "Harry Potter" or "Percy Jackson" as their favourite series?? Well, this book will always be the most enchanting to me. ALWAYS. And its only ONE installment. Gosh, I wish there was more to read from The Thief Lord universe, but I think its better that there's not :') hurts my heart though seeing all the characters I grew to love depart from one another.

Q. Whats your story on why you like the book?

ahh THANK YOU! I want the thief lord fandom to be alive so badly, there's sm I want to discuss and idk it makes me feel happy seeing other fans :') cmon together we can bring in more fans!!
