"Enmu," She repeats quietly to herself, storing his name. For whatever reason she doesn't know, because she won't see him again after he willingly leaves.

"I'm Mimi," She finally introduces, "Mimi Uzui. No fancy title or anything like you." Because the last name should be enough~.

Mimi scoots a little closer to Enmu, eying him to see if he's still wet or dirty or hurt or something of the sort. "I'm sorry I threw you out and yelled at you earlier... That was mean."

Ugh, she's making a bad choice being all nice to him! She's never really liked being too nice and friendly with people she doesn't know (She's gotta be scary but in a cute way!). Enmu pretty much says he won't betray her or anything, but she's still worried anyway and she can't stop! This is terrible and awful. Hopefully it doesn't happen. This girl will probably die if it does.

"I could," The fish girl says quickly, confidently (maybe), almost lacking tone. "I know I can. I just..."

What, she doesn't even know this guy's name. She shouldn't be vulnerable to someone she doesn't even know the name of, let alone one of the Twelve Kizuki. Sure, she's been vulnerable to him, but he doesn't seem to get it, so that's enough vulnerability for now. He'd probably belittle her for it. Twelve Kizuki probably are not nice if their master "likes" them enough to be Twelve Kizuki.

The girl sighs. "Fine." Be that way. She steps towards him, and considers sitting in front of him, but ultimately decides to kneel instead because she doesn't want to get mud on the back of her skirt.

"...What's your problem?" She asks, though hardly malicious. Just a more defensive way of asking 'why are you here' or, better, 'why did you choose to talk to me'.

Your muse is at home, relaxing, working, or doing whatever you please when a faint thud is heard. A few minutes later, a knock is heard. Then another. And another. The knocking isn’t coming from the door or another room, but from below. “Hey! Hey!! Anybody up there?!” a muffled voice shouts. It’s coming from the same direction.

The floor? The beat isn't rhythmic enough to be a heartbeat, nor has Mimi killed anyone, so it's not a worry. She gets up to look for the exact spot: under a plant.

"Can you please stop knocking?" She asks, holding the pot steady, "You'll knock my furniture over."

"...Can you also leave? I'm sure you've seen the mass of wires that are the guts of my house, and I don't want you unplugging anything."

She just stands calmly, waiting for an answer, not shouting, not helping whoever is under her floor. It doesn't even cross her mind.

y'know i dont think kokushibo would ever like mimi in ANY universe. slayer mimi, because it's a demon slayer, of course. demon mimi, because he was going to turn this one kid into a demon ("don't spill a drop" you know the scene if you read the manga), and right when the kid was going to take his blood, he gets ATTACKED and mimi had no idea (maybe) kokushibo was there; it was just hungry and it's spouses were away! so koku gets really angry but mimi turns into a puddle of water and disappears, so there's nothing he can really do about it...

and then it gets worse! mimi becomes upper six to replace ume and gyuutaro (you know, the spot HIS kid was supposed to take, not gyokko's....). so koku's like >:::/ but, again, nothing you can do about it, given what's going on.

this is also around the time zen finds its pretty flowers :)

i think the only exception to them never getting along is kny au oso-san mimi. because that specific one is supposed to be a doll, so it's mind and body are separate. it's body is the doll, and it's mind is ... a different character that has heavily inspired oso-san mimi (:

She frowns. What he says is convincing and she doesn't like it and she doesn't know why she doesn't like it. She doesn't even know why she's so cautious. Is it because of his rank? No, she's like this with humans, too. Hell, her spouses all have agreements with her to make sure they don't betray her. Well, two of them, at least, and it's really just "give me food and I won't eat you" or simply "don't betray me and I won't eat you", which doesn't really need to be said if a human is going to be friends with a demon.

"Well... maybe not now," She says, "We've only just met! Maybe you just don't know you will eventually; and I'm pretty sure you can't tell the future."

The girl fidgets with her nails, and her tail wraps in front of her feet, though still flat on the ground.

"DO YOU WANT ME TO SCREAM AGAIN??" She yells, "EEEEEEEEVERYBODY WILL HEAR IT!!! YOU WANT MY FAMILY TO SEE YOU??"

"GET. OUT!!!!"

She huffs, "I don't want to fight a Kizuki. If I'm already this strong and still not a lower rank, you must be insanely strong.

"Maybe there are demon slayers here, dumb fuck. Maybe there's even a hashira. You wouldn't know, you're too busy being a freak watching people sleep. I'll scream again and they'll hear it and I'll hide and watch while they kill you and blame all the other murders you couldn't have done on my husband like we've been doing for the past six years."

"You- you can?" she asks, looking around and at herself, confused as to why he would... she doesn't know any other demons nor does she remember fighting any recently.

"I don't know any other--"

Her eyes then widen, and she covers her face without any of her usual exaggeration. In fact, it's done with a lot less emotion than it normally would be. But it's not like she forgot about her wife, she just rarely sees them as a demon! Which is, of course, still kind of embarrassing to forget about.

"No, okay, yeah, I know who you're talking about," She says, dropping her hands from her face, "They don't count!"

"Ugh, whatever! I'm not explaining this to you, because you are going to leave!" The fish-girl whines, crossing her arms and turning away from the other demon, "I don't even know why you're here or why you're even talking to me! Goodbye!!"

The girl groans again, loudly, and bangs her head on the wall repeatedly. Her groans get louder and she shoves open the door. Nothing much to say anything about, as she's throwing a tantrum again...
