Unfortunately, I have bones. So here's a list of interactions between me and my chiropractor.
DISCLAIMER: ME AND MY CHIROPRACTOR GET ALONG REALLY WELL, MY BONES ARE JUST MORE PROBLEMATIC THAN THE ENTIRETY OF TWITTER. WE BOTH HATE MY BONES, WE ARE BOTH COOL WITH EACH OTHER. MY BONES ARE COOL WITH NO ONE.
My chiropractor, while just feeling muscles in my back- not even adjusting anything yet: "I. Cannot. Physically. Comprehend. How. You. Are. Able. To. Stand. With. Your. Spine. So. Not. Spine-like."
---
Her, adjusting my right wrist: "ooh this is bad. Your right wrist kinda sucks, huh."
Her, adjusting my left wrist immediately after: "HOW IS THIS ONE WORSE?"
Me, in response: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
---
Her: "HOW DOES THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SPINE ARCH IN TOO FAR BUT YOUR SHOULDERS ROLL INWARD BY YOU JUST EXISTING??"
---
Her: "I would ask how things are feeling, but it's you. So instead I'm just gonna say it....where's the problems?"
Me: "problems? Plural?"
Her: "like I said. It's you."
Me: "you aren't wrong." *proceeds to complain about approximately 147 of my bones*
Her: "alright" *cracks own knuckles* "let's do this."
---
Her, after my neck cracked loud enough to be its own drum line in a band: "we should have a safeword- can I say that?"
Me: "I'm fine."
Her: "I meant for me."
---
Her: *literally putting her entire body weight down onto one part of my middle back that will not move for anything*
Her, now pausing with hands on hips: "really? We're gonna be like that??"
---
Her: "I'm convinced your lower back sets children's hospitals on fire and is just using your body to hide from the cops. That's gotta be it. Why else would your spine cave in on ITSELF?!"
---
Me: "yeah, I felt my hip go out of place during school today- turns out that weird sliding feeling isn't just me being special. So yeah-"
Her, interrupting me: "your hip? You mean the one that is still out of place? That the one?"
Me: "oh I thought I got it back in."
Her: "I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW YOU ARE CAPABLE OF MOVING EVER."
---
Her, adjusting my neck: .....
My neck: *turning, and that's it*
Her: "...damN OWL NECK- it's not you, I promise."
---
Me, leaving: "bye! Have a good night!"
Her: "see you soon!"
Me, now stopped in the doorway: "soon??"
Her: "am I wrong?"
Me: ".......absolutely not. See you soon."

Also yeah there's this lol
Unhinged History Fact #1:
Chickens at the opera house are bitches.
At the Joan Sutherland Theatre, which exists within the Sydney Opera House in Australia, there was a net installed above the orchestra pit during the 1980s after a chicken unexpectedly walked off the stage and fell into the orchestra pit, then landing on a cellist during a performance of the opera Boris Godunov. The net is still there, but its size has reduced over the years since the incident.
I repeat: they had chickens on the stage during an opera performance in the 1980s and a chicken just fell onto a cellist because he walked off the stage and this is the only time when I wouldn't have expected this from Australia. The one time.
Side note as someone who is terrified of birds and plays violin + was in multiple orchestras: I hope that cellist got free therapy afterwards. Chickens are terrifying my dude and it wasn't expected in the slightest.

Small Ancestor Work Things <3
@3nd0fr3gss
This is a list of things that I don't really see talked about when discussing ancestor work and my personal experiences regarding the things mentioned. I'll make another post soon about my experiences overall with ancestor work, but until then, here's this!
3. You do NOT have to have contact or a relationship with an ancestor to fix what they have caused
1. Ancestors are not just related by blood. They can be friends that were more family, by adoption, or just by association to you. Family isn't defined by biological creation alone.
2. Correcting behavior or actively taking steps to help those effected by the choices of family that is still living is also ancestor work. Not everyone you need to heal from, for you or others, is already dead. Fix what's in front of you if you can.
3. You do not have to have contact or a relationship with an ancestor to help heal the traumas and impacts they have caused. This is extremely important, especially if they were/are abusive to you in any way and you aren't comfortable with their presence. You don't have to associate with them to fix what they broke.
4. Ancestor work is vastly different from ancestor veneration (@/thathoneywitch on TikTok speaks about it on a public platform often, but they should not be your soul source of information regarding this). There is a difference between honoring your ancestors and cleaning up after them, and ancestor veneration generally includes both of those. Ancestor work, however, is typically just described as "fixing their shit". It's a HUGE difference and people don't talk about it often.
5. Ancestor work starts with noticing problems in what you were taught and calling yourself out. You can't undo what they've already done, but you CAN prevent yourself from continuing the cycle. Patterns don't stop until they run out of the pieces that make them (AKA "breaking" them). You can notice the things they did and taught others including you as much as you want, but you need to correct the behaviors too or you aren't really helping it. It's kind of like when your parents used to say something that always got on your nerves or hurt you as a kid and you realize you've started saying it too. Once you realize or are taught that the behaviors and thoughts you are exhibiting are harmful, you need to work past them in yourself and correct the patterns you're continuing.
5. This is something I originally saw from one of the OG popular tumblr posts a long time ago and it fits very well in this (especially following 4 on this list): "...the first thought that goes through your mind is what you have been conditioned to think. What you think next defines who you are." Fixing habits start with realizing your actions aren't helping anything and working to correct those, but just because you don't have the actions anymore doesn't really mean you're "done" with it. After you fix the actions that were shown outwardly, fix the thoughts that you were given and make improvements. You can and should unlearn harmful things, even if you didn't realize they were harmful.
6. People (living or not) still exist outside of your perception of them and that's ok. No one can really be labeled as good or bad in an infinite sense because the line between the two is up to personal understanding. This is important because someone you could've known when they were alive would've been described as "the best" by you or other family, but that doesn't mean they didn't have harmful tendencies that still need to be fixed in practice. You can have your opinion of them without disregarding their influence on the present situations and still work to help.
7. You can't base your entire existence on not being like them. You are still your own person with a life, memories, and progress to make- and you shouldn't rule that existence with the effort to be the opposite of what was before you. You are allowed to make your own mistakes (but remember to correct them after and grow from their lessons) and learn things for yourself so you can understand your own impact. Yes, it's really important to fix the damage they've inflicted, but you still need to acknowledge the changes your existence creates. You do not exist simply to fix their memory. You can find a healthy balance between the 2, and I highly encourage it!

Was this just me???
@3nd0fr3gss
Was someone gonna tell me that my elementary school took me to a historical execution site in groups of 3 as a part of the big field trip to mackinac island in the 4th grade or was i just supposed to piece that together 7 years down the road?
Because on this field trip which was a week long, we had a lot of cases where kids were allowed to kinda wander around and just explore as long as their group's designated parent or chaperone knew where they were. It was like this for about 90% of the trip. But on one of the few times we had to stay with our group no matter what was on one of the last days we were there and it was to the Drowning Pool (which is right between Mackinac Island itself and Mission Point). No one told any of the kids what the drowning pool was OR EVEN WHAT IT WAS CALLED, why we were there, or any of the history behind it? They just took about 45 different 9 year olds in groups of 3, 1 group at a time to an execution site that was used when people were trying to "testify" against or about people being witches.
We were told we weren't allowed to take pictures there either and they made the kids have their electronics (which were mostly iPods because it was only 2014 or 2015 and once again, we were all 9) with their group's chaperone. Literally only the chaperones were allowed to have any electronics and there was only 1 picture of my group there at all and it was of us leaving to go there?
If you're from Michigan and ever did the Mackinac Island trip, PLEASE let me know if something like this happened with you too or if this was just really sketchy????

(The one picture of my group, with me on the left sporting very questionable fashion choices)

Something I Wrote
@3nd0fr3gss
"Morning Sun"
By Regan Wright
The window is open.
Your toes curl when the light hits your still sleep-filled eyes
And you toss the covers off your shoulders.
Looking over the bursting factory city,
You remember what the night brought you.
What sunshine bore was loud noises and rushing civilizations-
And where day could never supply, the moon gifted you calm.
She looks gently upon your chaos and whispers to you
Don't you miss the quiet?
But it's time for morning, not mourning;
And you've already slouched forward as if you were ready.
The window is open.

Update
@3nd0fr3gss
We haven't had a post from me in a while so here's this lol.
~~~
Me, looking at a divination dice: "you look upset."
Me, after a long pause (still looking at the dice at this point): "No, you're just see through. That's ok I guess."
IN TRANSLATION:
I CARE TOO MUCH.
Before someone asks if I'm okay, the answer is I might be a little too okay. At this place in time, it's heavily debatable.
Sticks, Stones, and Bones; Divination Through Casting Objects
My wonderful friend @peacock-witch and I regularly Skype and have fun divining with found objects. This means, whatever is at hand! One night I picked up a pack of cigarettes and started tossing them in the air to see how they fell. Thus was born my love of casting objects to divine. Casting objects is simple, easy, and super “witchy” and in my opinion quite fun and accurate as well! All you need is a selection of two to ten power objects.
What are power objects?
In this context, a power object is whatever has special significance or meaning to you. Just as a deck of tarot cards has 78 distinct meanings to it, your collection of power objects will each have their own distinct meaning. When you cast them on your cloth, the way these objects fall in relation to each other will determine what the reading is.
Here are some ideas of what power objects could be and what their meanings might be:
Crystals, stones: Use traditional magical meanings (love, strength, wisdom, protection, etc.).
Runes, ogham: Include a full set of runes or ogham sticks, or include certain ones that have special significance to you.
Matches, lighters: Guiding light, technology, civilization, fire element.
Feathers: Air element, communication, travel, motion, movement.
Cigarettes: Sickness, indulgence, hedonism, disease.
Ring: Family, bond, friendship, trust.
Key: Answers, wisdom, truth, opening, awakening.
Coin: Wealth, prosperity, earth element.
Glass beads: Creativity, glamour, manipulation, water element.
Pills: A state of being unwell, problems, where healing is needed.
Battery: High energy, energy blockage, energy containment, energetic flow has been altered.
Pen or pencil: Society, lawfulness, rules, order, regulations.
Skittles: Sweetness, well-being, happiness.
Animal figurines: Use animal lore and meanings to determine what the animal should represent.
Walnuts: Brain, intelligence, mind, cunning.
Popsicle stick: Bridge, pathway, path, route, solution.
Pins and needles: Pain, attack, aggression, fear, worry, unease.
You can really pick up any object around you, assign it a meaning, and cast it with your power objects. Over time you will gain the discernment to tell when an object adds meaning and depth to your readings, or when it becomes clunky and unwieldy. At the start, just cast 2-5 power objects; as time goes on you should experiment with adding more and seeing how it affects your reading. Don’t be afraid to add or especially remove objects that aren’t working for you.
It is a good idea to search for object that are equal in size. For example, casting 5 cigarettes may be a more balanced reading than casting a dime, a lighter, and a crow’s feather. When objects are similar in size they fall similarly and may provide with a more balanced reading to start with, or at least, a reading that is easier to read! This is in my own experience however, perhaps to you the size of the items doesn’t matter at all.
So where do you find power objects? Anywhere! @peacock-witch and I pick up whatever is in the room with us and figure out a way to divine with it. To make that list of objects above I just sat still and looked around my kitchen. Even carrots and celery sticks will do if you’re really short on objects to toss around.
Remember that you can mark on or alter your objects! I draw meanings on the filters of cigarettes. You can draw symbols on coin with permanent marker, write words on Popsicle sticks, or dab paint on figurines to give them extra meaning.
Put meaning to your objects
The way your power object collection looks will reflect what type of questions you want to divine for. If you want to do love divinations you may have five different objects each representing a subtle form of love. If money is your concern, you may have extra objects representing the economy, cash money, debt, savings, wealth, and financial players.
Assign one object to represent the person you are reading for. Suppose you are using Skittles to divine. Red can represent the person you are reading for; Green stands for love, yellow for wealth, purple for spirituality, and orange for success.
Experiment with different meanings for your objects. See what group of meanings works well together. You should be quickly able to tell what meanings work as a group, and what are clunky, redundant, or nonsensical.
Trust your throw
Just as you trust tarot cards to come up correctly, you need to trust your power objects to come up correctly. What works for me, and for many other readers, is to have a ritual you follow each time you cast for a question. One such example ritual is to hold the power objects, focus on your question, then cast in the same way every time.
Observe the fall
Once you have focused on your question and cast your power objects, the real fun begins!
Let’s go back to our Skittles example. Suppose you want to divine a person’s love life, so you cast the red candy (the querent), the green candy (love), and the orange candy (success). Now, you read the position of the candies to determine whether or not love will soon be in their life. Suppose the person is closely touching love but is far away from success. Maybe this means they will get very close to their goal but never be successful. Or, what if it means they do not need to be successful to find love? As a reader it is your job to interpret how the candies fall.
Look at how your power objects are oriented on the board. Do they appear to make a shape or picture? Do all the power objects appear to be pointing towards one side of the board? Do they give you a feeling of active motion, or a feeling of stillness? Do some seem to be clustered together as if they are stuck in a gravity well, or are they spread outwards as if there was an explosion? Take time to consider the board as a whole and the entire picture made by the objects.
Look at how your power objects interact with each other. Are some objects touching or even stacked on top of each other? Do some objects seem to mirror each other across the board? Are two or more objects pointing at each other or facing away from each other? Consider everything!! This is the true fun and excitement of casting power objects :3 Take time to consider the objects individually and how they interact with each other.
Casting power objects is an especially useful form of divination to use when you want to determine the nature of relationships between things. It is a powerful system because you can select as many objects as you want and give them their own meanings, as opposed to runes or tarot where there are a set number of meanings for a set number of objects. It is also impressive because you can pick up literally anything and cast it, and you will be able to divine (once you get the technique down of course!)
My advice is to be careful about how you label your objects and pay special attention as to how the objects interact until you get a good team of power objects working for you. Also make sure to keep looking for new levels and depths of meaning. Group readings are a great way to get new levels of depth in your readings, by having multiple friends each read the same spread and share their interpretations.
Organizing A Grimoire
@3nd0fr3gss
Before I get into this post, I would like to apologize for not being very active lately. I really appreciate those of you who have been checking up on me lately, and I promise I'm trying my best to get back to normal.
This post is going to be about how I personally organize my own grimoires, starting with the basics. There will be 17 different pages in this example, as this is not a "how to" but more of a "where to start".
1. Information about the owner
2. Blessing Page
3. Color magick
4. Angel numbers (basic)
5. Angel numbers (uncommon)
6. Knot magick
7. Cemetery etiquette
8. The basics of the zodiac
9. Introduction to birth charts (+ your own & how to read them)
10. What each house in astrology means (+ what the planets are)
11. Norse deities
12. Greek deities
13. Egyptian deities
14. Celtics deities
15. Closed practices list (knowing what to avoid)
16. How to write a spell or ritual
17. Tarot card meanings (mine normally take 3-5 pages to do)
7 Things I Wish I Knew When My Mental Health Was Declining: Witchy Addition ♡
@3nd0fr3gss
TRIGGER WARNINGS FOR THE FOLLOWING PARAGRAPH: talks of self harm, eating disorders, and poor self care. If you are sensitive to this talk, ignore the next paragraph ♡
For context, around the time 7th grade came around for me, my mental health got REALLY bad. I was self harming, not letting myself sleep, starving myself, and neglecting my own health in general. All this being said, this is a list specifically made from my own personal experiences. This isn't a general post. It's made to remind me that things DO get better, even if it feels like they won't :)
1. Doing non-stop tarot readings for other people without breaks is draining & you really need to pace things. Self care is the greatest advice you keep repeating. Practice what you preach and take care of yourself.
2. Even if you're just starting to learn tarot, if someone ASKS you for a reading, please don't just do it without questions. Asking "what will I get in return" isn't selfish. It's an equal exchange for a service.
3. Loki isn't leaving because you aren’t doing good. In fact, he shows up more when you really need him. He's here to help you, and whether you like it or not sometimes,help you he will.
4. You don't owe anyone any explanation ESPECIALLY if they want the information to laugh at you. Your craft can be public and private, but no matter what you prefer, there's some parts of it that other people won't get.
5. Don't spend your time becoming what they want. Spend your time becoming what you need. If that makes others mad, then they aren't what you think they are to you. Real friends/family understand what you need and encourage growth & if you say you need space from others for it, they'll give you that space.
6. Mom and Dad won't disown you when they find out you practice witchcraft. In fact, Mom will ask you questions about it so she can understand it better. She'll be the first person you tell when you finally start working with Dionysus, and she won't tell you that you're "going to hell".
7. You were and always will be enough. You aren't "too much" or "not enough". You are you, and that's the most beautiful thing in your life. The fact that you exist and are the way you are is to show that things are exactly how they are supposed to be.
Let's Talk Loki Experiences ♡
@3nd0fr3gss
Loki has, in my defense and/or for my own good:
Made my dad apologize for things he normally wouldn't apologize for
Made me choke on my own saliva trying to say something I'd regret
Made my mom apologize SINCERELY for something she wouldn't normally apologize for
HELPED ME NOT WANNA KMS EVERY SINGLE DAY
Talked me out of unaliving myself TWICE now
Helped me through multiple Anxiety attacks
Talked me through a break up and ACTUALLY MADE ME FEEL BETTER
Prevented MULTIPLE relapses with my drug abuse struggles from the past
Helped me through a relapse with an ED
Made me feel better after only being able to offer water because I was exhausted
Just been there for me in general
Loki has dad energy, tbh.
Here's a little rant about Medusa because I'm just angry about all the blatant misinformation surrounding her tale.
@3nd0fr3gss
TW: talks of rape
Starting this post off, I'm just gonna talk about the things I know about medusa and then the things I have HEARD from "mythologists" on Tik Tok who are spreading misinformation. I am NOT claiming to know more, I'm just saying that what is being told is NOT right.
Here is a longer version
THIS IS A SHORT VERSION OF HER STORY
Medusa was a high Priestess of Athena. This means she was a very important person to those who worshipped and honored Athena, and other than this role, Medusa was known for her beauty.
Now, Poseidon had his eyes on Medusa because of her beauty for a long while before eventually raping Medusa, and leaving her traumatized and scared. This put Athena in a very tough position.
Athena helped Medusa the only way she could think to- by making it so that no man or god could ever hurt Medusa again. This is the origin of Medusa's "curse". Athena was NOT punishing Medusa, she was trying to help her defend herself.
Now, in this Tik Tok I saw, there was someone claiming Medusa was "punished for her beauty with snakes for hair because Aphrodite was jealous". This is just NOT true. Medusa's tale was not a warning from Aphrodite. It was a tale of how Athena tried to defend one of her followers.
So yes, when I see things like this, it does make me a little angry. It defeats the whole point of Medusa's tale and only spreads misinformation.
Stay lovely ♡
