I just got reminded because i saw a post of a so obviously Fictionkin person. But i didn't say anything bc they have to figure out what they identify as ofc.

I just wanna address something that i've seen happen within and outside of the community.

Stop shaming someone for wanting their animal life back?! Someone made a whole post somewhere, talking about how they don't understand how anyone would want to be an animal again (They're also alterhuman) and ok yeah i respect that.

But then the comments went into a direction of "No one should want to be an animal/want their life back" speak for yourself. While it's still absolutely fine to have a personal opinion, the whole comment section went on to shit on folks who talked about WHY they would want their life back. Example: "I personally want my life back due to strong dysphoria and just because i want to be myself again" response: "Ah yes, and get brutally killed by infections or getting eaten" ??? Bro chill 💀💀?? Leave them be??

And the WHOLE comment section was like that, also turning into a "Are people who wanna be an animal again really Therians?" They didn't driectly state that but it really seemed like that was what they were trying to say at the end.

While i get everyone's point of getting infections and dying of a brutal death, there's more to being an animal than just that. And even if, coming from someone who wants that life/that life back: I honestly don't care? As brutal as being a wild animal can be I want my life back, no matter the circumstances.

If you don't experience Species Dypshoria that's completely fine and valid! But please, don't shit on anyone who does!

Maybe i'm on the wrong side of the internet, but i've seen SO MANY people that shit on alterhumans that are a bit on the more "extreme " side

Ohhh, i actually learned something new here! Gives me a whole new perspective on what Factkin can even stand for. I experience all of my Fictionkins as "having a life in another reality" like you've explained, fictional here but real in another world. Thank you for explaining everything!

So, one of my kintype's is a fictional character from a series, although i'd say i look pretty different than the actor who resembles the character i still feel it's too close to factkin. So here again, where is the line? If my kin is a character from a series but i look different than the actor in "my reality" but still have some similarities, is that still fictionkin? I mean, my kin is the character not the actor so the answer should be clear but i'm still unsure

Look, I get that you can have millions of Kintypes and still be valid, but i still struggle with the fact i identify as so many things.

I can't take myself serious and that makes me sad.

My identity is so strange sometimes, most of the time i feel like speciffic animals, different animals. But then there are times where i just identify as Dog

Like, i don't have a way that i see myself, i am just dog

I'm also able to wear any gear related to dogs and it just resonates with me? Usually when i have gear it HAS to relate to a certain kintype

I've seen a bunch of folks now that consider themselves "puppygirl/puppyboy" etc. First i thought it was just like pet regression but it seems to be an actual identity :o? I'm not sure if you can be both a "Puppyperson" and Therian/Otherkin but i lowkey feel like both of these?? idk but it resonates a lot with me

This is interesting for me because, yeah in my mental shifts i often feel a bit alone, but mostly i kinda feel animalistic? Maybe it's because i have two mental shifts at the same time but last time i had one i had a very animalictic angel shift, like an angel that originated in the forest, in the wild.
