🌟 Finally, the download links are ready, you will be able to test the MagicTown terrains and I did say TEST only. I will be as explicit as possible but I know that I am sending you into battle.

🗡️💥 And even if it’s with great regret, but most of you may encounter bugs, missing content not showing and a portion of you will never come back from the bloodbath of the pink soup ahead. 🩸

🏚️ For those who wanted to explore MagicTown, it’s too early. I want to make sure that the files will install all the necessary content before publishing the neighborhoods links. So I ask for BRAVE VOLUNTEERS to TEST only the terrains first. These brave warriors can send me (in private messages please, I wouldn’t want to overwhelm the blog) their feedback and their bug images, so that I can determine which content should be downloaded separately.

You will ABSOLUTELY NEED Mootilda’s  Sims 2 Pack Clean Installer

Last September, an MTS member agreed to test the terrains after seeing the pictures posted on one of the site's forums. From her experience, I already know that two sets need to be downloaded separately because the necessary meshes aren't installed from the files :

Buggybooz’s Nook and Niches set (Nook Folly Garden included)

You may also need marvine's Stone modular Stairs

All the files represent 1.4GB but DON'T PANIC, the total weight in your Downloads folder WILL NOT be 1.4GB, since many of these contents are used multiple times and have therefore been packaged multiple times. You will just have to be careful to install all the CCs in the same folder to ignore/replace the files that are repeated and thus avoid duplicates.

📦 Even though most of you are used to this of exercise, I still advise you to do a backup of your files and install all the custom content in a separate folder, the time to test the lots in an empty neighborhood. You will then be able to compensate for the missing or incomplete content before re-dispatching everything manually or with Delphy’s Download Organizer.

Tutorial: How to Create Custom Service NPCs

Just a quick little tutorial for neighborhood creators who would like to fully customize their neighborhoods! ^^

By the end of this tutorial, you should be able to do things like these!

For this tutorial, you'll need: * SimPE 0.75_69 * Alt Sim Surgery * Christianlov's Gussy Up plugin (you can find it in this archive) OR InSimenator (which has the Temporal Adjustor which you can use to fix the sims' appearances)

I'm finding myself wanting to do some variation of the Decades Challenge but not wanting to redo my entire downloads folder every generation, and also not wanting to have the absurdity of a sim born in 1900 dying in 1930 of old age.

Part of me is wondering if perhaps I should make my own challenge, with blackjack, and ethically compensated chatbots.

These clouds are inspired by Genshin Inpact and created by me. I really wanted to post this for #loscheday But I didn’t have time :(

In any case, you can consider this my small gift for the past holiday.

This is a set of 7 gradients and 6 clouds. Clouds are ANIMATED!!! (I'll make a non-animated version later, I promise)

Hey hello! Are you planing on converting something more from The Sims 1? I'm in love with your creations! Greetings!

Hi!

I’m a little torn at the moment — I generally enjoy playing sims 2 more than sims 4; I think it’s more fun to actually play and I like how normalized CC is in Sims 2 vs in Sims 4, where it’s harder to share on the gallery and a lot more monetized.

However I found it wayyy easier to create CC for sims 4 than for sims 2. It was still a lot of work but not quite as brutal.

All that to say, I’m sure I’ll eventually make some more stuff, I just have a lot going on with real life and other hobbies at the moment.

I’m hoping that once Paralives or another competitor comes out, I’ll be in a place to churn out a bunch of CC. And I’m sure a lot of it will be Sims 1 conversions, I’ll always be a Sims 1 boy at heart. ❤️

Hi Midge! So, I'm pretty good at using blender for 3D modeling, and I hate milkshape 3D, but all the tutorials for object making I've seen (and bodyshop tutorials) use it at some point. I was wondering if you know tutorials that don't use milkshape, or at least tutorials that aren't so step-by-step that you can't know what you're doing if you alter the steps? I hope the question isn't too vague. Thanks!

This was a request I saw by @saartje77 that I couldn’t pass up. It was also my first official kitchen conversion.

Counter - 52 - 369 Polys (Master)

*Counter 2 & 3 are half counters that are cloned from end tables and do not function as counters. They snap to the end of the master counter.

Less neon hydrangea bush default replacement

Hydrangeas are great, blue hydrangeas are marvellous! But not in the Sims 2.

This poor bush was made NEON blue, it would hurt my eyes and I always tried to delete them on all lots I was playing. Until I made this replacement :)

Before and after:

This replacement was made with @an-elegant-simblr​ ’s aka Voeille winter plant fixes in mind, it makes them drop flowers in winter and look more “dead” overall, so I higly recommend getting their fix. Without it, hydrangea will revert to its original winter state - with neon flowers and a bit of snow overlay.

The file is compressorized and the picture is included.
