a half formed thought that keeps looping round my brain is that the diaz parents and the buckley parents are similar in that they are a team. they will always take their spouses side and support all their decisions and choices. which sounds like it should be a good thing except they become a united front against their children just by nature of functioning that way. then if you look at buck and eddie who's whole deal is having each others back, being there for each other, they never once do this with christopher. they both prioritise chris over their own and each others needs. idk like i said this is a half thought so there's no conclusion.
