That moment when you're trying to tell your girlfriend about the serious nature of reality on the quantum level but she's more concerned with a community of people in Seattle who want to be mermaids....

Anyone else getting tired of religious people misinterpreting quantum mechanics to say god exists, when quantum mechanics actually points the opposite way?

Physics is the most important thing humans can try to understand. Our most brilliant scientists are dedicating their lives to finding the smallest measurements in Quantum Physics to educate us on how everything around us works and they continue to blow our minds with their brilliant theories and findings. All in the meanwhile Astrophysicists are looking into the un-conceivably gigantic galaxy we live in and outwards into even bigger galaxies to find out where Everything came from.

Humans are becoming regressive. It's sad that some people in the most powerful country in the world believe the earth is flat, deny man made climate change, or believe in rich elitists trying to take over the world. It's even more sad when people in positions of power choose to deny scientific facts, which could cause changes in legislation that would prevent us from going any further in science than we've already come. It could kill off the human race. All this over ridiculous conspiracy theories. Education is the most important thing in the world.
