Jacqui (from the Naked Girl books) SFW version
I hope everyone out there is coping okay with the extraordinary situation we find ourselves in worldwide. I hope if you are able to you are staying home and looking after yourselves and each other, and that if you have to be out to earn a living you are safe and being supported by your employers.
I'm currently home, and as a result have a lot of extra time on my hands. The lure of videogames is strong but in between I've been trying to write and also putting in a bit of practice with my drawing.
This is something I did the other day - Jacqui is one of the supporting characters in my novels Best Friends With a Naked Girl and Love Life of a Naked girl, and this is her in one scene in the latter.
If you've read the book you'll know she doesn't keep this outfit on for the whole thing - I did draw a NSFW version of how she ends up but you'll have to see my Twitter or my DeviantArt account for that picture.

Last Final Fantasy VII post, I promise.
So like I said, that game was everything to me back in the day, but I didn’t draw a huge amount of fan art. But this was a Tifa I drew, pretty slavishly copied from the game artwork. This is really old, about ‘98 or ‘99 at the latest (even this photo is about ten or twelve years old, when I went through a phase of photographing my old sketchbooks in case something happened to them).
I never had a big videogame crush on Tifa, although I do like her chunky boots and cosy socks. But I think the first actual erotica I ever read in my teens was a Tifa/Aerith slash story, which might go some way towards explaining why I now populate my books almost entirely with lesbians...

I keep talking about Final Fantasy VII because of the Remake... but also because I'm a writer now in a way because of that game.
I always liked writing stories for the characters I drew growing up, but the first writing I actually put out there for others to read online was FFVII fanfic.
It's long gone now (I've looked, the site hasn't existed for a long time) but I published three or four short stories and a poem. I liked the idea of fleshing out the bad guys - Scarlett and Professor Hojo especially (this was way before Dirge of Cerberus). I doubt what I wrote was any good (so much melodramatic dialogue - I know, what's changed, right?) but it was technically my be venture into self-publishing, about 15 years before Lisa & Becky.
In that time I've gone from writing poetry about videogames to writing about naked ladies, so I know my family must be very proud of me 😂

Oh hi, by the way.
I write NSFW/softcore/erotic fiction. I’ve self-published five books so far, you can get them on Amazon here. They’re fairly varied, but they all have a lot of gratuitous and not-so-gratuitous female nudity, so I’ve taken to referring to them as “naked fiction”. If you prefer, they’re sort of ecchi, sort of lewd, and mostly a little bit queer (everything’s better with lesbians).
This Tumblr was actually more or less where I started creating fiction, but when Tumblr banned NSFW images I closed up shop here because even though my blog wasn’t dependent on NSFW images, I wanted to be in solidarity with all the content creators who were being excluded. Also, I could no longer follow them, so what was the point in being here?
But recently I’ve been looking for a place to share content that is a bit less NSFW. I have a Twitter but I mostly use that to talk about what I’m writing and share with fellow erotica writers, and I have a website and blog but again they are mostly about promoting my books and longer articles about what I’ve written.
I also want to talk about TV shows I like, films I’ve watched, games and comics I’m into, randomly shitpost and generally do stuff on social media that is a bit less about my writing and a bit more about me. I’m a geek and I don’t think people who read my books all necessarily want to hear my thoughts on Castlevania or The Lord of the Rings, but people on Tumblr might, so I figured I’d start posting here again.

Final Fantasy VII eh?
I don’t have a PS4 so I haven’t played the Remake demo yet, but I’ve seen the hype and it feels good.
It’s impossible to overstate for me how much FFVII changed things. I was the sort of kid who was super into Japanese role-playing-games in the 16-bit era (SNES), but living in Britain I never got to play very many of them because the top titles were not released in my country. A lot never made it outside of Japan because of the huge amount of work they were to translate (shmups, platformers, beat-em-ups etc. were much easier to translate) but even those that got to the US, like Final Fantasy IV (II) and VI (III), never had a PAL release, because the company responsible for distributing Nintendo titles in the UK had got the idea that UK gamers were all ignorant savages who wanted action games and thought turn-based story-heavy RPGs wouldn’t sell... which was probably true to a certain extent, I mean all the kids I was friends with thought Mortal Kombat was the pinnacle of gaming. But still, there was definitely demand for that type of game, as anyone who read Super Play magazine would tell you.
A few action RPGs did have a PAL release, but if you were into the idea of fantasy games of the sort that Square and Enix were putting out you were really limited in your options. Secret of Mana was fucking amazing and Illusion of Gaia was underrated but there was no Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Chrono Trigger, Earthbound... You had to get an NTSC adaptor and mail-order these games from the retailers who advertised in the back of games mags and hope the title worked with your machine.
So when the N64 (then the Ultra 64) was announced and Square was one of the developers enlisted by Nintendo, it looked like it was probably gonna be the same old story - the next Final Fantasy would be on the N64 and Nintendo in the UK would think British gamers would be too scared of all the numbers and text and turn-taking, and would pass on the title.
Then of course Nintento and Square parted ways over the fact that the N64 was going to be a cart-based system at first, which Square felt wasn’t conducive to all the FMV content they wanted to use and went to Sony, with their CDs and their massive, massive marketing power.
Cut to 1997 and I’m watching TV and it’s a commercial break in like Star Trek or Babylon 5 or something, and I see two words I never thought I would see in a TV commercial in my country come up on screen.
Final. Fantasy.
You don’t know, unless you were that type of gamer in the UK then, how much that fucking meant. Not just that we were finally getting a Final Fantasy game, but we were getting one that was being treated like the absolute AAA blockbuster we had always said that Square’s games should be seen as.
I bought a PlayStation that autumn.
The rest is history. FFVII went to the top of the charts and stayed there for a not inconsiderable period of time. All the kids who I’d tried to convince that Secret of Mana was at least as good a game as Mortal Kombat were lured in by the Trojan horse of state-of-the-art graphics and memorable characters into playing a goddamn turn-based Japanese RPG. Final Fantasy became a global brand and Squaresoft one of the world’s most respected developers. Publishers no longer underestimated the potential for Japanese RPGs with their strategic combat, number crunching and epic plots to appeal to gamers in the West, and a great many more titles followed on that generation of consoles and after - not just Final Fantasy games but stuff like Suikoden, Xenogears, Disgaea... even all those old Square Enix games from the 90s got reissued on the PS1, the GBA and so on.
Looking back, it’s easy to see that FFVII is far from the perfect game. Its success arguably overshadowed better games in the series and subsequent releases never had the impact FFVII had. Many now resent it for its ubiquity, the plethora of Sephiroth-like villains and big-haired, big-sworded heroes in its imitators, not to mention Square themselves often seeming afraid to move on from milking the FFVII cash-cow with the endless Compilation of spin-offs which arguably add little to the main game.
But what Final Fantasy VII did for the gaming landscape, especially in the UK, can never be understated. If any game deserves a fancy, epic remake, it’s this one.

It's here! My new novel LOVE LIFE OF A NAKED GIRL is now available to buy on Amazon.
Kindle (including Kindle Unlimited)
Paperback
If being best friends with a naked girl was an experience, just wait until you try dating her! Kind-hearted Lisa and exuberant exhibitionist Becky were best friends since childhood, and now they are officially an item. But Becky shows no signs of reigning in her enthusiasm for nudism and public nakedness, and two girls are finding it isn’t easy to maintain a relationship over long distances while they study at university. Add to the mix a charming caddish photographer, a riotous rock band, a young couple eager to experiment, and an organisation of serious naturists, and you have a potential recipe for disaster. Now, will the very thing that brought Becky and Lisa together be what drives them apart? The sequel to the hit Best Friends with a Naked Girl

Through nudism I know a fair bunch of people who choose to spend the majority of their time naked, and none of them have copped to ever actually forgetting they were naked long enough to walk out the house and into public space nude.
Momentarily forgetting they were nude when answering the door, sure, I’ve heard of that happening sometimes. Maybe even being nude on a clothing-optional beach and going to the non-nude part or the parking lot or whatever without remembering to cover up - that could happen.
I guess some people do it if they are drunk or high, too, but that’s something else. If you’re too far gone to realise you’re naked in public, you’re probably too far gone to get embarrassed about it.
But to walk out the door clear and sober without either looking down at themselves even once, or realising wow, it feels a bit breezier here than it normally does - I’ve never heard of anyone actually doing that.
So probably not something that happens a whole lot in real life. Who cares though, it’s fun to imagine!
It might not be real, but it does happen in at least one movie... Chick gets all the way to the subway station and on a train without realising she’s left the house nude because she’s distracted the whole time by a phone call. I used a still from one of the scenes to show my illustrator what I wanted for the cover of Brave Nude World...
I wonder... does the whole forgotten clothes thing happen in real life, but no one wants to say anything about it happening to them since it would be pretty embarrassing? If I am so lucky to encounter a hot woman in such a state... well, I probably will just take a couple of pictures of her, and especially one of her face after I tell her what she forgot... of course realistically things can turn out differently then imagined in such situations.
My perverted mind believes that yes, this does occur every day somewhere in the world.
The more rational part of my brain says no, this scenario probably does not happen in the real world. You can forget your phone, watch, necklace, socks, hell I once saw a person when I was in junior high forget his shoes, but the likelihood that a person would forget every stitch of clothing they put on in the morning is unlikely.
That being said if anyone out there has forgotten their clothes or know someone that did I would love to hear about it! :)
