What I thought I would do my last day before work: write! Relax! Maybe actually get a chapter up!

What I actually did: take little siblings to an event I learned about 30 minutes before we left, almost get a sunburn, helped pack up our house because half of it is about to be under construction, learn my room ALSO has to be packed up, panic about what I'll need for the next month holed up in my sisters' room, and avoid the rest of it by hiding at my grandparents house attempting to edit Hyacinth

Hey! All of your drawings do not need to be completely unique from one another. Do you know how many versions and replicas of his Sunflowers Van Gogh actually did? Just draw that naked guy ten times. Reuse that colour palette. Do that pose again. Follow your heart for real, no one can care as much as you do.

So you know how a lot of people are giving Rumi extra demon traits? Horns, fangs, etc. All super cool!! A wonderful example of taking canon and going just a step farther. BUT.

What if the hunters got angel traits?

What if, once they get powerful enough, hunters become just slightly different. They have an air about them that's just kind of...unsettling, sometimes. Like they can observe more than they let on. Go a step farther, and what if sometimes, normally hidden with the Honmoon, they had extra eyes? Other animal features? Wings?

I just think it'd be neat if Zoey and Mira matched Rumi, but were also fundamental opposites :3

so… hm… were you guys aware that if you want to write a book or a fanfic you actually have to *whispers* write?

like excuse me? shouldn’t i be able to take the story out of my brain and stick it onto the page without actually having to WRITE it? with words? and correct grammar and spelling?

and DID YOU KNOW that not only do you have to write, but writing also takes TIME and EFFORT, of all things??

"why do you write?" because it’s the only way to silence the characters pacing around my brain like victorian ghosts with unresolved issues that prevent them from moving on.

Template from @magicmooshka! Sorry i swapped out a full Half of the teams, I have too much of a fondness for really rare characters. And of course, beloved Dateko. Catch me doing a manager version later maybe. Since I’m thinking about doing that, I didn’t put in my beloved Nametsu Mai for Dateko. She is the beloved favorite, but Moniwa’s next for Dateko.

Not sure on Ushiwaka’s face or Akaashi’s eyes, but it’ll do.

Colors wise… Moniwa’s hair gets teal highlights mostly for fun. And for some variety since I usually use blue like with Akaashi and Kanoka. Although I guess Akaashi’s are more grey. Eye colors I mostly just did whatever seemed close enough. Or like a bit of fun.

I feel like Ennoshita is a really underrated character in Haikyuu. Even though he doesn’t get nearly as much focus as some of the more central characters, his backstory and personality really left an impact on me. I love how he’s a relatively chill guy but won’t hesitate to put Tanaka and Noya in their place, I love that he did give up because things got overwhelming for him—it’s a really realistic part of sports people don’t talk about. I also love his little Director Ennoshita alter ego!! He’s really good at reading people and I think it’s so cute how there’s official art of fake movie covers he’s directed.

Anyway…

Live laugh love Ennoshita… I get irrationally excited every time he’s on screen.
