Heya Anon!

I asked someone to buy the RonToto plushies a year ago. She was based in Japan so it was easier for her to do it.

The shipping and handling was a bit expensive and the package took a while to get to me, but that’s understandable. I think somewhere in my blog I bragged about it. 😈

The release of the final volume, number 19, makes me sad. I am reluctant to close the last book for RKDD. It feels so final and absolute.

Anyways, RonToto live forever. Their friends and families too.

The potential for Ron Kamonohashi to become meaty after doing months and months and years of exercising, using his vacant room, has reduced to nothing when he still sports that flat arse and thin limbs. Toto would not let go of the chest especially if Ron had the ability to move his pectoral muscles by design like a rat in a frenzy.

Happy anniversary to Toto’s initial jealousy when Elmer Stingray showed up during the Obon Festival on RKDD universe. I would have preferred that AA stood by her inclusion of Elmer’s character as Ron’s only one friend in school before he met Toto, but AA didn’t seem to want it. And this would cause a lot of friction and frustration but Toto, kindhearted that is, or maybe he’s very sure of Ron’s feelings, loyalty included, to him that he wouldn’t find Elmer irritating anymore, which happens in the manga.

Obon is “a Japanese festival held in mid-August to welcome the spirits of ancestors and pay respects to them. Men and women also do some dancing, which is called Bon odori (Bon dance), performed to console the spirit.” (x)

Now the question remains: are we ever going to see Elmer in the anime version soon? Or will this remain a dream?

I was on my way to work when I thought of RonTotoSpitz as furries and then I remember that they did some disguise work to look for clues from the house of a fake healer who is also a murderer.

AA did something with Victor Trevor-esque character Elmer Stingray. I was actually open that Ron and Elmer had a past. The first time I saw Amamiya, she might be a potential Irene Adler. Chikori Monki like Mary. But AA likes her yuri on the side that’s why they didn’t manifest at all. In hindsight, the Amamiya-Winter Moriarty-Kawasemi Omito axis is the better choice. I mean, Sir ACD’s original Irene Adler is a cross-dressing stage actress in love with her husband. So yes, AA avoided that. Still, it would probably be nice to see those characters on RKDD.

They should have gave Ron a "Irene Adler" type antagonist TBH

Then Toto should have married someone like Mary

I haven’t written so many words in my life that the three-day @europeanficwritersretreat2025 has given me the chance to do that. We did two, this is the first one. Together with the Canadian chapter @ficwritersretreat , there was a joint flash fiction using prompts via Zoom meeting using the following key words:

an argument,

superhero,

drinks life and spits out the blood

The moment the rockets dropped on the Izu Islands, Toto Isshiki dragged Alice Moriarty with him, shielding her away with his jacket, running fast. He forced her to hide inside the cave nearby.

Everyone—including Ron Kamonohashi and his dad, Elliot Moriarty—was already on the boat. While Toto and Alice remained on the island, waiting in the dark, praying that the missiles had stopped pouring.

The teenager flinched from Toto’s grasp. An argument ensued.

“You have to leave me now, Toto! I’ve decided to stay here! Please leave me alone.”

“No!”

“Hah! No need to save me. You are not a superhero! Besides, I’m a psychopath! Didn’t someone tell you that? Save yourself first when you still have time!”

Toto stopped discussing with her, an absurd, murderous 17-year-old girl, the current head of the Moriarty clan. She was akin to a vampire, who drank life from humans and then spat out their blood when she thought they were not worthy of her.

Who would have thought that the clan leader of the terrifying Moriarty Family is a teenager!

She turned hysterical when the bomb hit Kisaki, the Moriarty family bodyguard, apart from witnessing her own sibling Winter took the side of their archenemy, the descendant of Sherlock Holmes, Ron, Alice knew that she was defeated.

Minutes passed, an hour perhaps, she began to wail like a child. A mix of tears and snot marred that innocent face. Toto glanced at her, but stopped himself from nearly placing his hand on her shoulder to console her.

“You are good-hearted police officer, Toto Isshiki. No wonder Ron wants to keep you. But you are an idiot!” She looked at him with her lopsided smile in between sobs. Silence.

Wait, is that the sound of a whirring helicopter?

Bzzzzzzzz.

The noise continued.

“Go, Isshiki!” She pushed him away, even kicking his shins.

The buzzing of the engine had stopped. Shouting men and women echoed from the outside.

“Come Alice! We are going to depart from here.”

Outside it was…

So bright. Toto thought.

Alice gripped Toto’s arm, she finally relented.

The ground shook followed by a deafening sound of a sudden explosion.

He and Alice were nowhere to be found.

Hahahaha! Of course I made a mistake. I have with me the 13 episodes of the whole first season.

I was pretty skeptic that RKDD merch would not reach Europe.

But look what I found today.

Volume 1 of the first season (episodes 1 to 7; I have the first volume JP edition with two episodes but it’s okay) and the first volume of the second season.

Art cards, a poster, and a Ron Kamonohashi standee! I think it is all right.
