Ok but are we SURE sexual attraction is real? Idk, seems kinda fake to me. Are we ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN there isn’t a communication error going on somewhere??? I’m not convinced

Pov: the hyperfixation is hyperfixating
How did you come up with headcanons about Michael’s family?
Oh Lili, did you want an ESSAY?!
Probably not. But it was the mug. The mug started it all. Michael Holden is walking around school with a ceramic mug of tea. He fancies himself an adult. The man of the house. Why? Why has a guy who is still at school feel the need to be so mature?
Honestly, I think even before I read the webcomic and got the idea for this fic, I was coming up with headcanons for Michael's parents and his life. It's such a juicy mystery as to why a boy who obviously has athletic prowess but severe deficiencies in other aspects of his life would go to a competitive grammar school and live in a house so nice that Tori "IDGAF" Spring would comment on it, yet feel so much shame about it.
So when Tori goes to his house and he doesn't invite her in I found myself wondering why again.
I know Alice has insinuated that maybe his parents work a lot, but that's not enough of a reason to hate your house and not want to invite someone in, so what's going on in there? Maybe there's a bed set up in the living room for your ill father, or a detailed schedule of everything you need to do as Man of the House on a magnetic whiteboard on your fridge. I also considered that one of his parents was a hoarder or something, but he lives in a nice house and he's obviously been offered opportunities in life. Speed skating isn't cheap, so at some point his parents encouraged and financed his passion. So what changed?
And then, he has so much pent up anger. Why? Why is he "always angry"? Why is he so grateful that Tori would come watch him skate? Why would he think wanting attention is selfish?
I'm sorry, but Alice left just the rignt amount of breadcrumbs for fanfiction when it came to Michael's parents.
On a personal note, I know what it's like to grow up with a parent who is naturally an arsehole who then becomes more of an arsehole due to a neurodegenerative disease. It's a horror show and I thought it fit perfectly with Michael's personality.
And then finally, Darragh is Jamaican/Irish, so I just stole his heritage for Michael. I think it adds another interesting layer to his identity.
Thank you so much for askingggg!

I feel like there would be the "we never turn on the big light" rule
when sprolden live together in a house/flat, how would you think they’d decorate it?
Probably something like this ?

another rant/deep thoughts
I don’t think people understand how much it fucking sucks to know the knowledge and understanding the questions. But not having the fucking answers to it. The ideas/words/sentences flow through my brain but other the stimuli makes it all bounce away like bouncy balls. School sucks.
