I love three year olds because they’ll never say it to your face but it’s clear in every fibre of their being that they’re certain that their communications skills are perfect, and any adults who can’t understand what they want are just a little bit stupid.

Local businessman woke up after one DND campaign too many and decided he wanted to be a goblin shaman.
do you know why the green goblin suit looks like that? it feels like such a weird mishmash of halloween (pumpkin bombs), medieval fantasy (goblin), and modern technology (glider).
The origins of the Green Goblin are pretty muddy. Lee and Ditko argued and overwrote each others' decisions a lot, and any reports on what ideas came from where are usually 50 year old half-memories. In 2002 Ditko gave a bit of an explanation for the mythology-technology mismatch:
“Stan's synopsis for the Green Goblin had a movie crew, on location, finding an Egyptian–like sarcophagus. Inside was an ancient, mythological demon, the Green Goblin. He naturally came to life. On my own, I changed Stan's mythological demon into a human villain.”
It might also help to see the Green Goblin as not just a fantasy trickster spirit (hence the ears and hat and curl-tipped boots), but a witch. It seems the 1939 Wizard of Oz movie invented the pop cultural idea that witches are green, mostly just to show off their Technicolor chops. (That might also explain the eyelashes.)
In ASM #14 the Goblin flies around on a "broomstick" and shoots spell-like sparkles from the tips of his fingers. The stun-bombs are present, but we don't get to see what they look like yet.
In ASM #17, his second appearance, he switches to the bat-shaped glider and we get a better look at his gadgets: pumpkin bombs, but also bats, frogs, moons, spiderwebs, and ghosts. Very "eye of newt".
Later versions and adaptations usually prune out the sillier elements (RIP enormous drag eyelashes) at the expense of making the theming seem even more arbitrary than it was to begin with.
I'll also forward you to Elving's Musings "Four likely influences: Norman Osborn & the Green Goblin" as interesting reading.

gale's reaction to mystra telling him to blow himself up is obviously heartbreaking but on the other hand it is deeply DEEPLY hilarious when Gale, Learned professor of renown, is like "if there was another way to defeat the absolute don't you think the goddess of magic would have thought of it" and the band of badly socialized half-feral murder children he's running with just go "well maybe the goddess of magic is stupid, gale"

Entrapta: I would like you all to know that Hordak and I broke up-
Bow: Oh no!
Adora: Who could’ve expected this?
Mermista: Finally! I’ve been waiting for this day!
Glimmer: Honestly Entrapta, you can do so much better.
Scorpia: THIS IS SO SAD, YOU GUYS ARE MY FAVORITE COUPLE!
Catra: Oh, the horror.
Entrapta:...We...broke up this piece of first ones tech and wanted to share our findings.
Everyone:....
Entrapta:....
Hordak: I should’ve expected that, yet I’m still disappointed

Assertive Entrapta
Because I’m tired of non-shippers misrepresenting this dynamic, have a compilation of Entrapta being assertive with Hordak since S1.
People who confuse Entrapta’s cheerfulness with childlike innocence have also convinced themselves she’s more passive than she is.
She’s actually more assertive with Hordak than the princesses because he expresses himself in a way that’s easier for her to understand and push back. She’s also more focused with him, because they’re interested in the same things.
She’s no pushover. That’s kind of important in the end.

Why do those designs look like they're pocs? Entrapta is white and Hordak comes from an alien white supremacist religious space cult. If your going to post white straight ships don't reimagine them as minorities to give yourself a pat on the back for representation where there is none.

Because I have no self-control, here's the entrapdak fan kids I commissioned from the lovely caity desu. I imagine Hordak and Entrapta would need to use technology to have children so they're clones of their parents.
