INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT

Welocome to to A-Parallel-Institue, a blog created by the U.S.A. Branch of the Magnus Institute. Our intentions are to provide a means for those afflicted by the fear entities to recognize their situation and come to us for assistance with their conditions. To do this, the head of this institute, Ms. Cato, has instructed me to create a social media platform to better reach those outside of the city where we reside.

This project, alongside helping those who may be unaware of what is causing the strange and seemingly unexplainable problems in their lives, also provides a means of giving a voice to several individuals who have agreed to assist this objective. These volunteers have provided introductory statements linked below as a means of sharing some basic information regarding why they have ended up with us and what they wish to gain from assisting in this task. Each of them have agreed to answer questions, however relevant or irrelevant to this project, from any of you. That way, you can gain a better understanding of these individuals and their position, and perhaps you can encourage them to share information that we have yet to procure from them. The following list shall be updated as we receive more volunteers for the project.

We hope that your participation in speaking with these individuals will help spread the word about this institute and provide both a means of receiving help for any of your own afflictions or a better understanding of what handling these entities is like through the experiences of our volunteers.

Extra information regarding this blog:

This is an ask/art blog featuring many of my own characters, as well as cameos from a few of my friend's characters that will be tagged accordingly as they show up. It takes place in an alternative universe where The Change never really happened, but the world was still affected by it. This version of the Magnus Institute, as a result, is a bit different, with the blog following a separate division centered in the United States.

As of right now, I have only listened to a small portion of Magnus Archives and only know so much about the overall story and world, relying mainly on the bits and pieces that my friends have told me. Because of this, there is a possibility that several things may be inaccurate, and I apologize if that is the case. Do keep in mind, though, that this is an alternative universe, so many things may also be intentionally different or inaccurate.

STATEMENT

Q: Why did you seek out the Magnus Institute?

I am friends with one of the people who works here, plus I recommended this place to another friend of mine since she was having some trouble with one of the entities. She wanted me to come here too cause she was worried about me. But I'm fine!

Q: What do you wish to accomplish participating in this project?

I want to help people, if I can. The fear entities hurt a lot of people, and I want to save as many if I can, even if it means going a bit hungry. I'll survive!

Q: Is there any additional information you would like to share regarding your current situation?

Sorry if my writing is kind of hard to read, I'm not a very good writer :( . I can read it out to you, though, if you need! I'm more than happy to! Though maybe you can't read this too if it's a problem...I'll bring it up when I'm done.

EMPLOYEE NOTES

Despite repeated claims to the contrary, subject is almost certainly not human. That, combined with their claimed affiliation with the Stranger, leads me to advise caution around this individual, no matter how "friendly" they make themself out to be.

STATEMENT

Q: Why did you seek out the Magnus Institute?

A friend of mine reccomended that I come here to get help for my situation. For years I have had many unexplainable encounters with fire, ones that made no sense and seemed to only be preceptable by me and no one else. It has been more of a problem in the past few months and I haven't been able to find answers anywhere else.

Q: What do you wish to accomplish participating in this project?

To spread awareness of this issue to hopefully prevent others from falling victim to these things. If I can share bits of my experiences in a way that helps others to recognize their own situations and seek help from those who actually know how to help them, they I think it's worth my time. Plus I think my friend may also be afflicted. Maybe participating in this with them will encourage them to seek assistance too.

Q: Is there any additional information you would like to share regarding your current situation?

My afflictions have been less frequent since my first visit to this institute. That feather thing you guys gave me seems to be pretty effective, but at the same time I can't help but question if it's really a good thing. I think it may be harmful to some people, so I advise you actually look into that before anyone gets hurt.

EMPLOYEE NOTES

The "feather" the subject is referring to is an artifact of Hope, given to her upon her first visit to the institute to help ward off the Desolation's influence on her. Despite her concerns, this artifact is completely harmless to the average person, only afflicting those directly linked with the entities.

STATEMENT

Q: Why did you seek out the Magnus Institute?

Boredom, mainly. Don't really have all that much going on during the day, so I figured this would be a nice change of pace. After all, clubs are usually closed till pretty late, so this seemed like a more entertaining use of my time.

Q: What do you wish to accomplish participating in this project?

Nothing much, outside of wanting a good time killer. Plus who knows, might be able to find a few cuties here willing to have a fun time. And if not, maybe, I can find a few good meals. I'm sure you've got some tasty insecurities there, eh blondie?

Q: Is there any additional information you would like to share regarding your current situation?

What else are you lookin for? I can do flesh crafting now if that's what you're after. I can even give you a demonstration! If you like it, I could always give you another :)

Subject gave a "demonstration" of her flesh crafting abilities during the process of filling out this form, unfortunately staining the paper with blood in the process. Her actions did however alleviate any doubt of her connections to the Flesh.
