The egg of a Purple Spider actually said,
"What kind of thing is Jiang Fengmian! Let our heroic and tough lady marry Wen Ruohan! Strong People sees the same view!"
But...
If it were canon MDZS:
Yu Ziyuan: Wen Ruohan! You actually favor that far away collateral branch Wen Qing and gave her a status comparable to our son Wen Cheng!? Are you going to change the mistress of QishanWen?!
Yu Ziyuan: heh. Or I'm afraid this Wen Qing is Sect Leader Wen's illegitimate daughter like what other said outside, right?
Yu Ziyuan: Wen Ruohan! Why do you ignore Wen Yanli and Wen Cheng!? Look properly, These are your children! Just from which gutter is this Zhao Zhuliu come from, for you to bestow him the surname Wen?! Or do you want to give the position of heir of QishanWen sect to someone else?!
"............."
Wen Ruohan: Drag this shrew to Yanyang Palace and pull her tongue. QishanWen Sect has no need of a woman who dare to bark like a mad dog in front of its Patriarch.
Yes.
Do you think Wen Ruohan would actually let his wife refuse to use the title Madam Wen and insisting to being called as Madam Yu?
Do you think Wen Ruohan would love to be scolded and yelled at when he just want to promote some good seedling in his sect?
Some people really are deep in the dream and refuse to see reality.
The reality is, your favorite Wen Ruohan would kill Yu Ziyuan with her weird temper she has.
Don't expect any fluffy romantic love that kind of changing the tyrant to pamper the heroine

Now this is how it should have been. Not that the orginal is bad, it has its own charm, but this would've been so much better...
Boruto but it focuses on the consequences of the war and not just the peace that comes after. Boruto but it talks about the cultural genocide of both the Uzumaki and Uchiha clans since Naruto never got to know his own heritage and Sasuke is still living as an exiled man, while Sarada doesn't know anything about her own clan even if she's the last one living in Konoha. Boruto but it focuses on these children finding out about their ancestors' legacy and, in Sarada's case especially, are able to resignify what their clans are. Boruto but Boruto and Himawari are taught about the oppression in the Hyuuga clan and about their uncle, and Neji is remembered as a hero but also as a sign of the Hyuuga's dark history. Boruto where Kurama, who lived inside both Mito and Kushina Uzumaki, is able to teach Naruto and the kids about Uzumaki traditions and practices. Boruto where Sarada connects with her father by learning the Uchiha traditions through him, or learning about them herself and sharing with him a few moments of tradition to remind Sasuke where he came from and that he's still an Uchiha despite the massacre and despite what he's done, because it doesn't change where he came from. Boruto where Sarada learns about Itachi, and is able to take her own conclusions about what her uncle did and know he's both to blame for the end of her clan as well as a tool of the oppressive government system that set him to do what he did when he was only a child. Boruto but the village recognizes Madara was one of its founders and despite whatever he has done, the Uchiha are part of their history and they raise memorials to remember never to let something like the Uchiha massacre to happen again, to remember the fundamental message of the story which is to break the cycle of hate. Boruto but they get to restore what's lost little by little, even if it'll never be the same, and the kids learn from their parents past mistakes and grow from it without feeling bitter about them, and are able to make a better place for themselves and the next generation.

This is so well-written! And it describes Jun Wu’s character amazingly too! It is really sad to see how so many ppl reduce Jun Wu to a simple psychopath or a perverted stalker, even though he was a terrifying menace and a very complex character. Not to mention, he was a beloved prince and god, as much as, if not more so than Xie Lian.
I believe that one of the reasons why Jun Wu made Xie Lian go through everything he himself had suffered was because he wanted some sort of validation. He knew that his actions were messed up but he also believed that he had no other choice. By putting Xie Lian through all that, he wanted to assure himself that he had done nothing wrong and that anyone else would also do the same. The fact that Xie Lian defied all his expectations and beliefs was what angered him so much during the final battle.
You ever lie awake at night, thinking about how tragic Jun Wu is as a character? He was a lot like Xie Lian, sure, but he was so much more isolated and that informed all his fucked-up decisions to break Xie Lian physically and emotionally just to prove a point.
When we first meet teenage Xie Lian, Crown Prince of Xianle, we're introduced to his loved ones before he even shows up—Mei Nianqing, Mu Qing, Feng Xin, his parents, all people who love and support him. When the Yongan drought happened, the Rain Master borrowed him her hat and it was nowhere near enough to save Yongan or Xianle in the end, but it was still an act of kindness.
But Jun Wu, Crown Prince of Wuyong, had no one but his four vassals, and trusted advisors are not the same thing as friends. When Wuyong's volcano was about to erupt, the other Heavenly Officials refused to aid him AND stole his worshippers, and that made all the difference in a plan that was already a little too ambitious for him.
That's not to say Xie Lian would definitely have followed in Jun Wu's footsteps if he didn't have that support system—when he decided to test the people of Yongan, he was looking for literally any excuse to believe in humanity again, just like how the people of Xianle were looking for literally any excuse to drive out the Yongan refugees. The real tragic part is that Jun Wu, after spending years being put on a pedestal, genuinely believes he played no part in his own moral corruption. Yes, his plan was a bit too risky, but it's the Heavenly Officials' fault he failed. Yes, it's messed up to sacrifice those criminals to the volcano, but it would have worked if his vassals had supported him. Oh yeah, he DEFINITELY shouldn't have ruined Xie Lian's life and brought about the downfall of Xianle, but don't you see? Anyone would have made the same mistakes he did, even someone as great as the Flower-Crowned Martial God!
Jun Wu isn't obsessed with Xie Lian because he's jealous and thinks no one can be that perfect. He's obsessed because he thinks the world doesn't deserve someone as perfect as they are, and he's so desperate for someone who understands him that he never stops to think, "Wait, there has to be a better way to make friends other than...oh, I don't know, subjecting someone to the exact same traumas I went through?"
Anyway, I just think it's neat (and also very, very angsty). So many TGCF characters could have had fulfilling relationships with others, but they're too consumed by trauma/hubris/shitty circumstances/all of the above to make any meaningful changes to the trajectory of their train wreck lives. And that makes them undeniably, painfully human.

Jun Wu’s fate
So, what happened to Jun Wu at the end? He was sealed under the mountain and Mei Nianqing decided to stay with him, but what else? Did he stay like that for the rest of eternity? Did he get cursed shackles? Did he become an ordinary human? Did he live or did he die? Because something else must’ve happened -

Jiang Cheng’s ending
So, I’ve read how many ppl say that JC didn’t get the ending he deserved, whether it be stans or antis. But here’s the thing- JC did get the ending he deserved.
JC’s entire character revolved around his pride. He grew up knowing that WWX is better than him at everything. He also felt that JFM favored WWX over him (though that’s debatable and IMO false) He had a much higher social rank than WWX but still felt inferior to him. It hurt his pride and as a result, he often lashed out at WWX - in anger, concern, or whatever. But this changed after the SSC. JC became a war hero and WWX the dangerous social pariah.
After WWX’s death, JC felt that he had always been better than WWX and that his sense of inferiority was unnecessary. He became just like his mother - a proud classist and conformist who looked down on everyone not as privileged as him. JC was a great character but he was also a horrible person. He loves but his love language is too toxic.
But after JC learns the truth about his golden core and everything else, his pride must have shattered into pieces. To know that everything he had achieved as an adult was because of someone he had always felt inferior to and later despised must have been too much. JC would have lost faith in himself. I have no doubt that JC would have put himself together sooner or later. But the damage to his pride, his faith in himself, and the destruction of everything he had believed in was a pretty great ending to his character.
