My latest piece that I directed for VICE Media VICE APAC on the Adopted Feels podcast was quite a personal one. My job requires me to often translate Korean culture towards a Western audience, but sometimes, I’m not sure what being Korean actually means.I’m Korean American and I find it hard to talk about the daily difficulties of my experience living in the US and Korea.Podcasts like Adopted Feels really helped me with navigating my specific situation. I made a lot of mixes this year but this one might be my favorite. COVID 19 pressured us find new ways to express ourselves. Without the energy I got from being in groups of people, I spent a lot of time at home: writing, cooking and listening to music.
