I apologise for my inactivity these past few months. Currently on hiatus.

With my dissertation and various essays due in August and September (plus moving back to the United States), my days will be filled with the sound of nails clacking on a keyboard as I attempt to type out close to 27,000 words. 

This means I won’t have very much time for RPing, but I will try to occasionally be online. 

I’m terribly sorry about the hiatus.

I apologise for not being online. I'm back home for the time being.

My time home has been... full of a lot of hardships. My uncle has pushed my family completely out of his life. To be threatened and then told to go away is... hurtful. I love my uncle dearly, but he's never been the same since his tour in Afghanistan. He views my family as his enemy. Try as we might, he refuses to seek help and we can't force him. My cousin is left reeling with the fact her own father has practically disowned her and refuses to acknowledge her. 

The icing on the cake was hearing about my great-aunt's passing. She was a great woman and I loved her dearly. I didn't care she was only related to my family through marriage; she meant so much to me. She was probably the only member of my extended family who supported my desire to study abroad. Most of my other extended family believed I had no right to go overseas to study for a Master's degree. 

I remember her last words to me before I left for England. She told me she wanted to be able to travel again. If she couldn't make it overseas, she at least wanted to visit Chicago again. I'm just happy to hear she did get to go one last time before her health deteriorated.

Slowly working on essays. My 4000 word essay is slowly coming together.

I have plenty of notes on the Hamlet film I studied. Now it's a matter of adding in research and making coherent thoughts. Hopefully I can finish while I'm in London. 

I'll probably work on my Research essay on Monday during the flight.

Okay. So, I'm still working on my two essays.

I've had to change up my performance essay over three times now. I've just about had it with this fucking essay. WHY DID I PICK FILM AND SHAKESPEARE!? SPECIFICALLY SILENT FILM!?

I will say this... Asta Nielsen made a very attractive Hamlet and I may or may not have found myself sexually attracted to that particular interpretation of Hamlet. 

This Easter weekend will entail not leaving the house (save for groceries), cleaning for the letting agent's inspectin (which happens every three months), attempting to figure out what the fuck I'm packing to go back to the States, and trying not to freak out over these two essays.
