I’m acc so fed up with seeing fanfics with Ellie being so not Ellie like bro like she’s literal rep of dorky awkward girls but y’all take the “ouu she a masc” and make it her whole personality when writing things Like yes we know but can we talk about how much she loves astronomy I want to read about her stargazing and saying weird facts Abt the flipping sky I wanna read fanfics of her being awkward. Enough with this culture of writing a character but to the point it won’t even be Abt the character. TO FREEDOM
(This is where y’all clap for me after I scream to freedom)

The Thief And The Fairy
An Ellie Williams x Maleficent!Reader Au. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
An: I can’t lie i’ve been putting this off for so long, and for some reason i decided it would be a brilliant idea to start this at 4am. Considering it is very early in the morning, the quality may not be that great. Not proof read. Enjoy my loves!
|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|
Four months had past since Ellie had stolen the fairies wings, and Abby was checking in on activity at the castle. She saw the maids of the Queens making a fuss down in their quarters of the castle and knew she needed to find out what was going on.
“A girl! It’s a girl!” One of the maids announced, practically squealing with joy. Queen Dina had given birth to the prior kings baby.
Abby flew back to Y/N as soon as the news had landed upon her ears.
“Into a man.” Y/N spoke when she sensed Abby was close to her. “Well?” She asked impatiently.
“Well i saw nothing..but there’s been a, um…” Abby spoke nervously before Y/N interrupted her.
“What?”
“Child.” Abby spoke, “Queen Dina and Queen Ellie have had a child.” She finished.
“Oh.” Y/N spoke, not knowing what to say.
“There’ll be a christening, They say it’s to be a grand celebration.” Abby added, trying to break the silence.
“A grand celebration for a baby. How wonderful.” Evil tones laced the sound of Y/N’s voice.
At the castle, hundreds of people had traveled from far and wide to attend the newborns christening. It indeed was a grand celebration as Abby had said. There was so many people that they barely fit on the large staircases, let alone inside the throne room.
All Manor of folk came, even a trio of fairies, who sought to foster peace and goodwill.
“Oh look! There’s the baby!” Flittle spoke with excitement.
“I love babies!” Thistlewit responded with the same amount of joy.
“Can you just concentrate, please.” Knotgrass corrected them both. “Im not telling you again.” She finished.
The three fairies found themself hovering in front of the two Queens.
“Greetings, your Majesty. I am Knotgrass of the Moorland Fair Folk.” Knotgrass introduced herself.
“I’m Flittle, your Queenship.” Flittle did the same before Thistlewit.
“And i’m Thistlewit, your Royalnesses.”
“They bring gifts for our daughter.” Queen Dina spoke to Ellie as she saw the distaste in her wife’s face.
“These are not just any old gifts,” Flittle started, “For, you see,” Knotgrass continued before Flittle finished, “We’re magic!”
“And very good with children.” Knotgrass added.
“Very well.” Queen Ellie spoke before allowing the fairies to bestow their gifts upon her child.
Knotgrass flew towards the baby before announcing her magical gift.
“Sweet Aurora, I wish for you the gift of beauty.” She spoke softly before sprinkling magical flower petals over the baby.
“My wish is that you will never be blue, only haply for all the days of your life.” Flittle spoke as her magical blue butterflies fluttered around Aurora. One of them landed on her nose, causing her to sneeze.
“Sweet baby, my wish for you is that you find…” Thistlewit started before a large draft of wind blew throughout the throne room, causing the candle light to be blown out. The fairies looked to where it came from.
A shadow of a woman with curved horns and a sceptre appeared on one of the walls of the throne room as she walked in. People watched in fear as they made a path in the middle of the room for Y/N to walk through, as she made her way towards the monarchy.
She stopped walking and banged her sceptre onto the floor. “Well well.” She spoke mischievously, continuing her way towards her old friend.
“What a glittering assemblage, Queen Ellie.” She complimented before petting Abby in crow form.
“Royalty, Nobility, the gentry and..” she laughed, “how quaint. Even the rabble.” She spoke towards the fairy trio.
“I must say, i really felt quite distressed at not receiving an invitation.” Y/N said innocently.
“You’re not welcome here.” Ellie finally spoke.
Y/N started pouting, acting sad before laughing again. “Oh dear, what an awkward situation.”
“You’re not offended?” Queen Dina asked.
“Why no.” Y/N paused for a moment. “And to show i bear no ill will, i, too, shall bestow a gift on the child.” She said with her innocent tone.
“No! We don’t want your gift!” Ellie yelled, standing up.
Y/N ignored her, and started towards Aurora.
“Stay away from the princess!” knotgrass yelled, guarding the bassinet. “Yea, stay away!” Thistlewit joined her along with Flittle.
Y/N effortlessly used her magic to throw the fairy trio across the stage into a box.
“Hmm..” Y/N thought for a moment. “Mm.”
“Listen well, all of you,” She started, her green magic appearing in front of the newborn. “the princess shall indeed grown in grace and beauty, loved by all who meet her..” She continued before Queen Dina interrupted her. “That’s a lovely gift.”
Y/N turned her head to look at Dina, then Ellie who spoke, “Don’t do this..”
In response, Y/N put her pointer finger to her lips in a way to tell her to stay quiet. She turned around and saw a spinning wheel, the needle shining in the light that peeked through the window. She walked out to face the Royal family, raising her arms by her sides, her green magic growing around her.
“But..before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday, she will prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and fall into a sleep like death! A sleep from which she will never awaken.” She yelled. Ellie watched in fear.
“Y/N please don’t do this..i’m begging you.” She spoke.
“I like you begging, do it again.” Y/N ordered.
Ellie got on her knees in front of the once winged girl. “I beg you.” She spoke again.
“Alright.” Y/N smiled.
“The princess can be woken from her death sleep..But only by…true loves kiss. This curse will last till the end of time! No power on earth can change it.” She yelled. Ellie’s heart felt like it had dropped to her stomach, she had made a grave mistake. Y/N walked out of the castle with an evil laugh.

SOMEONE RECOMMEND ME MORE LIKE THIS I WANNA READ ANGST
Out of sight~ Abby Anderson imagine
Abby Anderson x Fem!reader
Requested by @joellastofus “Hey idk if your doing requests on Abby imagines but I had this idea where Ellie and Dina ( or tommy ) finds the reader (the reader being abbys significant other) and like Abby intervenes before the reader is killed. Can you do something on that concept?”
Warning- violence, talks of blood, angst, light fluff
———-
The sound of a loud crash causes you to spin around in a hurry, your chest heaving up and down heavily as you quietly tip toed towards the noise, noticing that the shooting going on outside was gone.
But that fact alone was meant that whoever the shooter was, was mostly likely inside the abandoned restaurant. And from what you saw, their shooting is not to be taken as some joke. Whoever that mysterious shooter was.
Another crash sounds off. Closer this time. Making the little hairs on the back of your neck stand, the gun in your hand tremble like your body was, causing your eyes to go wide.
You take a deep breath and hold it for a second as you turn over the corner, pointing your gun to…nothing. Thankfully—you breathe out and begin walking, your heartbeat still increasing wildly at the sound of the wind outside. The wooden flooring begins to creak. Only not from your stepping. Behind you.
In a swift spin, you turn around and your eyes peel open wider, the grip around the gun in your hands becoming firm at the sight of the familiar person….It couldn’t be. Joel’s brother. Tommy.

|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|
A few hours had passed since Y/N had lost her wings, and she decided she shouldn’t let Ellie be her defeat. This was not the end of her story, taking her wings was only the start.
Snow had fallen upon the Moors, and clouds covered the forrest. The winds were heavier and the greens almost turned grey.
Y/N slowly started to get up, almost falling back down from the pain. She used the root of the tree behind her to push herself back up. She stared at the floor for a moment, thinking of what she could use to keep herself stable.
Thankfully, an idea came to her. Reaching down, the once winged girl picked up a twig from the ground. She used her powers to turn it into a long staff, with a large green jewel at the top. She then used the staff as a walking stick, as she wondered through the Moors, however she stumbled over once more. After a few moments, she got back up again.
Hatred and anger filled her face as she walked, she should have never fallen for the tricks of humans. She should have never given in to the temptations of the humans. She should have never welcomed Ellie back so easily.
Y/N found herself upon an abandoned, fallen down castle, where a crow squawked above her, then landing on some brick beside her. The girl used her magic and made the crow fly away.
The next day, Y/N came across a corn field that belonged to a farmer not too far from the Moors. She saw the same crow from last night, caught under a rope net. A dog was barking at it. The farmer laughed with joy.
“Hahaha!! I’ve got yer!!” He said before running off to grab a weapon so he could kill the bird. Y/N stood hidden in the tall grass, observing.
“You wicked bird!” The man yelled, getting ready to swing at it. Before he could do any harm, Y/N whispered a spell.
“Into a man..” She spoke softly, the magic dancing through her fingers and towards the crow.
The crow began to grow vastly, and it’s features became less bird-like and more humane. She stood up within the net, looking at her new body as her feathers quickly disappeared and her wings turned into hands. The farmer gasped, backing up. “It’s a demon!!!” He yelled before running away with the dog.
Once the man was gone, Y/N stepped out from her hiding and towards the bird girl. The girl looked at Y/N and frowned.
“What have you done to my beautiful self?” The girl questioned angrily but calmly.
“Would you rather i let them beat you to death?” Y/N retorted, defending herself. She looked at the bird girl, scanning her face. She was quite pretty. Her features were different to hers as a crow, for now she had long dark blonde hair and blue eyes.
“I’m not certain..” The girl responded, looking over her own body.
“Stop complaining. I saved your life.” The fairy spoke firmly.
“forgive me.” the girl looked down apologetically.
“What do i call you?” Y/N asked curiously.
“Abigail, preferably Abby.” She stated confidently. “And in return for saving my life, i am your servant. Whatever you need.” She announced.
“Wings.” The fairy spoke. Abby looked at her confused, so Y/N rephrased herself.
“I need you to be my wings.” She finished.
The two walked together through the field and towards the abandoned castle from the night prior, before Y/N turned abby back into a crow and sent her to the castle to be her wings and eyes.
At the castle, Ellie’s coronation and wedding to Queen Dina was taking place. Abby spied from an open window in the throne room.
The priest placed the crown on her head and started speaking.
“I present to you, the first of her line, Her royal highness, Queen Ellie.” Ellie stood up upon the priests words, and the town people cheered. After gathering all the information that was needed, Abby made her way back to Y/N.
After Abby explained the news to the fairy, anger bubbled in her blood.
“She did this… to me.. so she would be Queen?” Green flames rose from her staff, and as she screamed, the flames threw upward into the sky, creating a beam of light that all the kingdom and the Moors could see. It created a storm over the Moors, and everything became gloomy and dull. Queen Ellie spotted this from her balcony, she knew that something bad was coming for her.
Y/N finally made her way back to the heart of the Moors, where the people gasped at her.
“Her wings..” Thistlewit whispered sympathetically.
The once winged girl walked towards a tree and sat down. the branches created a spine-like throne where she would spend her time in the near future. Abby, in crow form, sat upon her hand. Two of the Spriggan folk stood by her side, as if they were guarding her. They ordered the people of the Moors to bow down at Y/N, and so they did as they were told.

The Thief And The Fairy
An Ellie Williams x Maleficent!reader au. Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, part 5
an: This chapter is quite angsty, so uhh yeah 🤗 enjoy! part 4 will be out soon <3 not proof read.
|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|
After several years had passed, Ellie’s visits to the Moors were less and less, for her ambitions pulled her away from Y/N, and towards the temptations of the human kingdom. While Y/N, the strongest of the fairy’s, grew up to be the protector of the Moors, just as she was all those years ago.
Y/N spent her days flying through the Moors, searching for any sign of danger. Sometimes, once she knew they were safe, she’d fly up into the clouds and dance with the wind and the sky.
She often wondered the Moors in solitude, and sometimes wondered where Ellie might be. For she had never understood the greed and envy of humans…but she was to learn.
For the human king Jesse had heard of a growing power in the Moors, and he sought to strike it down.
Y/N was sat by her tree in the mountain when she saw the herd of men and flames marching towards her home. She flew down to the spriggans, alerting them of the war that was approaching in the near distance. Knowing that they were following closely behind, she flew to the edge of the Moors to meet the king and his army of men and horses.
When the king reached the entrance of the Moors, he came to a halt, stopping his men behind him. He turned to face them before speaking up.
“There they are! The mysterious Moors where no one dares to venture, for the fear of the magical creatures that lurk within! Well i say crush them!!” He yelled triumphantly, his army cheering once he’d finished.
Suddenly, the king heard a loud gusp of wind behind him. He turned around to face whatever monster that stood in front of the Moors.
Y/N stood there in a confident stance, her wings folding slightly behind her.
“GO NO FURTHER!” She yelled as loud as her lungs would let her.
“A king does not take orders from a winged elf!” King Jesse spoke with might and power, his men laughing at his joke.
“You are no king to me!” She announced with anger, her stance staying strong.
The king spoke to his men calmly. “Bring me her head.” He ordered, just as his father did with her parents long ago.
The army quickly drew their swords and charged towards Y/N and the Moors.
“Arise and stand with me!” Y/N yelled, locking eye contact with King Jesse. Suddenly, the ground started shaking beneath their feet. The roots of trees rose from under the ground, revealing the Spriggans that were hiding not long before.
“It’s the dark creatures!!!” One of the kings men yelled in fear.
More spriggans walked out from the shadows, riding large armoured boars. The spriggans ears which were covering their faces, opened up to reveal themselves to the humans once and for all.
Without warning, dirt from the ground exploded into the air as yet another creature arose from hiding. This creature was a wingless dragon made from the roots of trees, moss and mud. It’s teeth were sharp and long, and it had a beak for lips. It roared at the humans before it.
“CHARGE!!!” The king ordered, the humans quickly started forward to attack the beasts. Y/N flew up into the air, before flying directly at some men, taking them out with her wings. The Spriggans and boars also ran towards the men, fighting back, protecting their land.
The ground dragon started swimming below the dirt, and rising to strike the humans, making anywhere a danger zone for them.
Y/N sawed towards the king, knowing she wanted to end the man who started the war in the first place. “You!” she yelled as she came crashing into him. He landed on his back, all the air escaping his chest as he struggled to breathe.
“To the king!!” one of his men ordered, as they all charged towards the king and Y/N.
Luckily for her, she had strong wings. And she used them to her advantage. She flapped her wings, making sure to create large gusts of wind to send the men flying back miles. She then landed in front of the king.
“YOU WILL NOT HAVE THE MOORS! NOT NOW, NOT EVER!! YOU-“ she yelled before she was quickly cut off by his iron glove coming into contact with her chest. She fell back in pain, a red burn mark left where his hand once was. It quickly disappeared, however.
Unfortunately the kings men reached him before she could strike again. The humans a fled back to their kingdom, and the Moors was at peace once more.
In the castle, King Jesse was laying in bed. Six men surrounded him, for he did not have long left.
“When i ascended to the throne..I promised the people that one day.. we would take the Moors and it’s treasures. Each of you swore allegiance to me.. and to that cause.” He spoke weakly before coughing.
Ellie, who was previously lighting the fire, rushed over to fix his pillow so he was more comfortable.
“Defeated in battle. Is this to be my legacy? I see you waiting…for me to die. It won’t be long. But what then? I will choose a successor- to take the throne, care for my wife. Who among you is worthy? Kill the winged creature. Avenge me! And upon my death, you will take the crown.” He coughed again.
Later that night, Ellie decided she had to return to the Moors one more time, and Avenge her king in order to become queen. She hoped it wouldn’t hurt her considering she hadn’t seen the fairy in years.
She prepared a horse and carriage, with a blanket to cover Y/N’s body with once she had done what she needed to do. Once she’d decided she had everything she needed, she made her way back to the edge of the Moors.
“Y/N?” She called out like she did long ago.
“Y/N?” She tried again after a few seconds. Of course she wouldn’t be there waiting for her like she used to be. Ellie felt stupid and turned around to go back to the kingdom. That was until she heard a whoosh behind her.
“So..how’s life with the humans..?” Y/N spoke bitterly. She did not expect to see Ellie ever again, so this was quite a surprise.
“I’ve come to warn you..they mean to kill you.” Ellie said worryingly, hoping she’d buy her act.
“King Jesse will stop at nothing..” She continued, sympathy lacing her voice.
“Please..you have to trust me.” She finished. Y/N considered Ellie’s kind gesture, and forgot about how she’d left let long ago. She invited the human back into the Moors, into her home, and let her guard down completely. The two spoke of many things, and the years faded away. She forgave Ellie, and her ambition, and all was as it had been many years prior.
Y/N’s head rested on ellie’s as they watched the lake glisten in the moon light. Ellie opened a flask and asked Y/N to drink it, which she did, not knowing what was inside. She quickly fell into a slumber, and Ellie’s plan was coming into action. She almost backed out of the plan, but if she didn’t do it then someone else would. She needed the throne.
It took ellie an hour before she was able to gain the courage to grab the weapon needed. When she returned to Y/N, she was still sleeping soundly on the grass.
“Y/N?” Ellie tried waking her up, to see if she would actually rouse. She did not, which meant it was time. She gently picked up the dagger that she had placed by her feet and raised it above Y/N’s back. She lifted it into the air, ready to slam it into the fairy, but fell back, stopping herself. She threw the dagger to the ground in anger, she could not kill her first love.
Suddenly, an idea appeared in Ellie’s head. The king did not need to know that the fairy wasn’t dead, She just needed to bring him evidence to lie to him.
She grabbed a chain that sat next to her and wrapped it around Y/N’s wings, and cut them from the fairy’s back. She then took the wings and wrapped them in the blanket where her body was once to be. Then, she left. She decided to walk back as the guilt made her feel to sick to ride her horse.
when the sun had risen, Y/N slowly woke from her slumber. Pain shot through her and she felt awfully light. As she sat up, she did not feel her wings move with her. She grunted in pain and reached behind her to feel for her wings, finding out that they were no longer present. She looked behind her with wide eyes. Panic and betrayal flooded her veins as she trembled. She started squealing in pain, which turned into screams and sobs. She tried gasping for she could not breath. She screamed as much as her body would let her. Not only did Ellie steal the fairy’s heart, she also stole her wings.
In the distance, Ellie heard her old true love’s screams and she felt like she was going to be sick. Her mind was filled with regret, but there was no going back now. She would have to live with the guilt for the rest of her years.
Y/N lay back down on the ground as she was in agony, and stayed there for a few hours. She did not want to move ever again, she did not feel whole. She was no longer complete.
When Ellie returned to the castle, she went directly to the Kings chambers to show him what she had done. She carried in the fairy’s wings and placed them onto the foot of his bed.
“What is this?” King Jesse asked, awakening from his slumber. Ellie removed the blanket from the wings, revealing them to the king.
“I have avenged you, sire.” Ellie spoke with confidence, though her heart was shattered. She could not believe what she had done.
“She is vanquished?” The king asked before coughing. Ellie simply nodded. She did not want to speak, she felt like she was going to be sick.
“Oh you have done well, my friend. You have done what others feared to do. You will be rewarded.” The king announced.
“i shall do my best to be a worthy successor, your majesty.” Ellie replied. The king asked for her to leave and that she will be crowned the following week, wedded to his wife.

|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|
The day had gone by faster than the girls had hoped, they spent it together doing what Y/N considered fun.
The winged girl told Ellie to hold onto her foot, and once she did, Y/N took flight over a shallow river, leaving Ellie splashing with her legs in the water. The human was laughing so much she thought her lungs would burst, she couldn’t remember how long it had been since she’s had this much fun.
Once Ellie had dried, Y/N noticed how fascinated the girl was of her wings. So she decided to allow the human to touch them.
Ellie’s eyes widened and made sure it was definitely okay with Y/N, as she didn’t want to cross boundaries. The fairy smiled and nodded, stretching a wing out towards the girl.
Slowly, Ellie reached her hand out to touch the feathered wing. She didn’t even notice how much she was smiling, and Y/N thought that seeing Ellie in awe was the most beautiful thing in the world.
“They’re a lot softer than i thought they’d be.” Ellie spoke softly. Y/N chuckled in return.
The two girls grew a bond stronger than they’d imagined. And for a time it seemed, or in them at least, the old hatred between men and fairies had been forgotten.
As months passed, Ellie was sure to visit the moors to see Y/N at least three times a week. It became a routine for the two girls.
One day, Ellie decided to collect bits and bobs that were laying around in the farm, and created a necklace for the girl whom she was so drawn to.
“what’re you doin lass?” the farmer asked impatiently.
“I’m making a necklace for my friend, sir!” Ellie responded with excitement.
“Well could you take yur brick-brackering elsewhere. I’m tryna clean out the stables wee lamb.” He finished, hurrying Ellie outside.
Once the necklace was complete, she ran as fast as she could towards the Moors. She was worried that Y/N would have left already, as Ellie was later than usual.
“Y/N?” She called out, her heart racing. She never understood why her heart would race whenever she saw the girl, that never happened a while ago.
“I almost thought you wouldn’t show up. Is everything okay?” Ellie heard her favourite voice behind her.
Quickly turning around with a smile, Ellie responded. “Everything is okay! I was making something and i lost track of time.”
“Oh i see. Well i’m glad you’re here now. The Pixies are asking if you’d like to-“ Y/N spoke as Ellie cut her off,
“I was actually wondering if we could go to your tree again. I have a surprise for you.” She beamed. Y/N was shocked, She’d never had surprises or gifts from anyone, so she was curious as to what it could be.
“Of course! Remember to hold on tight.” She spoke as Ellie jumped into the girls arms, wrapping her own around her neck. Y/N held Ellie under her legs so she wouldn’t fall. Once she felt that she was holding her correctly, she took flight.
“Ahhhh!!!” Ellie screamed. “I don’t think i’ll ever get used to that!!” She giggled, holding onto her friend tighter. Y/N felt a strange feeling in her stomach, as if a family of butterflies had just been set loose inside of her. Was this normal?
When they arrived at the top of the mountain, Y/N stood still, allowing Ellie to stop clinging at her own time. Ellie jumped off of the fairy, and walked over to the mountain edge, sitting down. Y/N followed suit.
“I made this for you.” Ellie said, taking the necklace out of her pocket. it was made of wood that’s she’d shaped into beads, and was threaded through yarn that she found under her bed. No metal or Iron was used as she did not want to hurt her dear friend.
And as it were, friendship slowly grew into something else.
The routine continued for two years, and they enjoyed every moment of it. Ellie had gotten to know the people of the Moors, as Y/N had introduced her to them, and she felt like family around everyone.
A few more months passed, and it was finally Y/N’s sixteenth birthday. She was so excited as Ellie told her that she had something special planned for her. She sat by the edge of the Moors ever since the sun peaked over the mountain, waiting for her human.
As soon as she spotted the girl, she flew over to her at haste, hugging her tight. “Aghh i’ve missed you so much!!” Y/N spoke into the girls hair. Ellie giggled, hugging her back.
“It’s only been three days my love. But i’ve missed you too” She responded before parting from the hug.
“So, what do you have planned?” Y/N asked curiously, barely able to keep her excitement at bay.
“You’ll have to wait and see sweetheart.” She responded with a smirk, holding onto her fairy’s hand.
Ellie lead Y/N through the Forrest, towards the heart of the Moors where the pixie trio were waiting for them.
Fittle was a pixie who wore a dress made from blue flowers, and butterflies surrounded her and a blue flower as a hat. Knotgrass was a pixie who wore a dress made from pink flowers and wore a pink flower upon her head. And finally, Thistlewit was a fairy who wore green and yellow flowers as a dress, and a green flower upon her head just like her sisters.
“It’s Ellie and Y/N!!” Thistlewit yelled, clapping her hands in excitement.
“Shhh! you’ll ruin the surprise!” Knotgrass disciplined her sister, whacking her on the arm.
“Ow! What was that for?!” She yelled, holding her arm where her sisters hand was mere seconds ago.
“Hello Pixies, you’re all dressed nice. How are you today?” Y/N smiled at the trio, still holding Ellie’s hand.
“We’re okay thank you.” Fittle spoke up. The trio, being the size of Y/N’s hand, flew closer to the girl so she could see them better.
“Happy birthday!!!” They all said in union, throwing flower petals at the birthday girl. She gasped and started giggling, smiling ear to ear. “Thank you so much!” she spoke.
“Okay now hurry along! Or Ellie will chicken out from ki-“ Thistlewit spoke before Knotgrass quickly interrupted her. “SHHH!!” You’ll spoil Ellie’s gift to her!!” She yelled, sighing at her sisters ignorance.
“Oh! Yes, sorry.” Thistlewit apologised.
Y/N thanked the trio again before Ellie dragged her through the forrest once more, reaching a cliff side that had a stunning view of the sunset over a lake. Ellie instructed for Y/N to keep her eyes closed a few minutes prior to arriving.
“Okay you can open your eyes now.” Ellie spoke softly near her ear. The fairy did as told and her eyes widened at the view. How had she never come here before?
“It’s beautiful..” She was at a loss for words.
“That’s not your final gift my love.” Ellie giggled.
“it’s not?” She asked confused, her eyebrows knit together. Ellie chuckled, shaking her head. She turned the girl to face her fully, and held both of her hands.
“My gift to you is a true loves kiss.” She whispered shyly, her cheeks quite red.
“A what?” Y/N laughed. Ellie was shocked, had she never heard of true loves kiss?
“A true loves kiss?” Ellie spoke as if to say duh.
“What’s a kiss?” Y/N corrected herself. Ellie’s eyes widened. How did she not know what a kiss was? That was bizarre to her. She smiled softly at the fairy as her eyes flickered between Y/N’s eyes and lips.
“Shall i show you?” She asked, stepping slightly closer. Y/N nodded, her heart beat picking up and that family of butterflies returning in her stomach yet again.
Upon gaining the girls consent, Ellie leaned closer, finally connecting their lips. Y/N’s eyes widened and a smile broke on her face before she closed them, and kissed her back. She wasn’t too sure what she needed to do so she just followed Ellie’s lead.
Their love only grew stronger from that day forward, But it was not to be.

The Thief And The Fairy
An Ellie Williams x Maleficent!Reader au. part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5
An: This fic is the result of an idea that’s been rotting my head for months. The story line will be extremely close to Maleficent, and a lot of the lines will be exact to the film. Fair warning, it is a strangers to lovers to enemies sooo yeah 🫶 not proof read.
|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|~~~|
Once upon a time, in a far off land, there lived a little girl. She was no ordinary girl, for she lived in the branches of a tree on the top of a mountain. Most of her features resembled a human, however a few of her features did not.
The girl carried long, dark, feathered wings on her back, and upon her head were two scaled horns that curled ever so slightly. Her ears were almost human, as they spiked near the tops, and her cheek bones were as sharp as a blade.
The girls wings could carry her high up into the clouds and she felt like she danced with the stars as she flew, the wings never faltered nor failed her. She trusted them with her whole life.
Her tree belonged to her land, known as the Moors. It was located in a large forest next to a kingdom. The Moors and the kingdom had been at war for centuries, until 7 years ago, when the king had claimed her parents heads on his sword. Two years later, the king had died and his son, Jesse, took his place on the throne.
Because of this, Y/N was unfortunately the only one of her kind left in the Moors. There were goblins, Gorgons, Pixies, Sirens, Spriggans, mushroom fae and more. There were many family’s of each, creating a population of the Moor folk.
Although Y/N was only 14 years old, she claimed the title of the protector of the Moors, just like her parents once were. This was a mutual agreement between the moor-folk as she had the strongest wings and a power stronger than they had seen ever before. She was able to heal and break with the stroke of her finger, and she did not know what she was fully capable of, yet.
One day, Y/N was helping some of the pixies mend some of the crops, as a storm had destroyed their farmland the night before. As she used her magic to heal the poor crops, one of the Spriggan soldiers, Balthazar, came to her.
The Spriggan folk look a lot like trees. They disguise themselves as such from the humans, as a way to hide from them. Their ears are large and can shield their faces from harm, they have sharp wooden teeth and their body’s almost resemble a skeleton made out of wood. Their jobs were along side Y/N, as her soldiers. They usually carry wooden spears with them as weapons and did not speak human like the pixies and Y/N could, however they could still understand it.
Balthazar made some earthy deep sounds, which is the Spriggans way of communicating.
“What do you mean there’s a human in the Moors? there hasn’t been for years.” Y/N protested, slightly nervous to encounter her first human since the last war, where her parents were stolen from her.
He replied with similar noises as a moment ago.
“She’s stealing from the pool of jewels? Tor heavens sake we need to stop her. They’re not hers to take.” She announced before flying up into the clouds and towards the pool of jewels.
When she arrived, two more Spriggans were surrounding the entrance to a small cave in the mountain right next to the pool, however it was covered in ivy so she couldn’t see the human hidden inside. She landed on a grass covered rock inside the pool, in-between the Spriggans.
“Come out!” She demanded. She had no response from the human, maybe they speak a different language now? She decided to try her luck again.
“Come out this instant!” She spoke louder than before.
“No! They mean to kill me!” A female voice spoke. Her accent was different to the humans that Y/N remembered. Perhaps the humans had changed their way of speaking the language.
“They don’t mean to harm you whatsoever. They know you have something that doesn’t belong to you. You have to give it back!” She spoke loud and clear.
The hidden human hesitated, but slowly crept out of the ivy, into the open. She had auburn brown hair, pale green eyes and freckles scattered along her face. Her hair was tied up into a pony tail and she wore ragged old clothes, covered with an old brown cloak. She looked quite small for a human.
“Are you fully grown?” Y/N asked curiously, analysing the humans appearance.
“No..” The human responded.
“I believe she’s just..a girl?” Y/N said slightly confused to her soldiers.
“And you’re just a girl…i think..?” The human stepped into the conversation.
“Who are you?” Y/N asked the human who stood before her.
“I’m called Ellie. Ellie Williams. Who are you?” She replied with confidence.
“Y/N” The fairy replied with the same amount of confidence. One of the Spriggans quickly reminded her of why she was here, meeting the human.
“Yes! right.” She spoke. “Like i said earlier, i believe you have something that doesn’t belong to you.”
“No i dont.” Ellie said confused, trying to act dumb. Y/N rolled her eyes and held out her hand expectedly. Sighing, Ellie digged into her pocket, retrieving a jewel and chucked it to Y/N’s hand. Y/N then gently tossed the jewel back into the pool.
Y/N and Ellie walked together through the forest, as Y/N wanted to make sure the girl was safe leaving. Ellie’s eyes were glued to Y/N’s wings, she felt drawn to them. They were like nothing she’d seen before. She decided to speak before her stares got too weird.
“if i’d known you’d throw it away i would have kept it.” Ellie complained, knowing she could have gotten a meal by paying with that jewel, she couldn’t remember the last time she’d eaten a whole meal.
“I didn’t throw it away. I delivered it home, as i’m going to do with you.” She announced. The girls walked through the woodlands together in a comfortable silence. Ellie admired the nature around them, and gasped as fireflies flew passed them.
Finally, they reached the end of the forest where there was a large grass field that separated the Moors from the kingdom.
Ellie came to a halt, Y/N following suit.
“Y’know, some day i’ll live there,” Ellie spoke, pointing into the distance. “In the castle.” She frowned, hoping her dreams will someday come true.
“Well where do you live now?” Y/N asked curiously. She was so drawn to Ellie in a way she couldn’t describe. She’d never felt like this before.
Ellie turned her face away, embarrassed to face Y/N as she responded. “In a barn..”
“So your parents are farmers then?” Y/N continued, not noticing Ellie’s demeanour change.
“My parents are dead.” Ellie responded quite bluntly, her head hanging low.
“Mine too.” Y/N looked at Ellie with sympathy. Maybe not all humans were bad anymore. Maybe it was time for the moors to stop being afraid.
Ellie looked back at Y/N with the same expression. She stared into the fairy’s eyes for a while before speaking up.
“We’ll see each other again.” She said with confidence, turning so her back was to Y/N and took a few steps forward
“You really shouldn’t come back here you know.. it’s not safe.” Y/N protested, she almost cared for the human. She felt connected to her in ways she didn’t understand.
Ellie turned around again to face the winged girl. “and if i made that choice, if i came back…would you be here?” Ellie asked with a smile tugging on her lips.
Y/N looked around for a moment, she was lost in thought.
“Perhaps.” She shrugged with a smile. Ellie was beaming, and stretched her hand out to shake Y/Ns. When the girl took Ellie’s hand, she immediately took it back and gasped in pain. Ellie’s face dropped and concern rushed through her body.
“What’s wrong?!” She exclaimed, her eyes searching Y/N’s face for answers. Y/N gripped her palm in pain, where Ellie’s ring touched seconds ago.
“Your ring..Iron burns fairy’s.” She explained to the concerned human in front of her.
“I’m so sorry!” Ellie said apologetically, before she took her ring off and threw it as far as she could. Y/N felt her face heat up and her heart grow warmer. Humans were a lot kinder than she thought, so it seems.
“I like your wings.” Ellie spoke, interrupting Y/Ns thoughts. The fairy’s grin only grew wider upon hearing her words as Ellie walked across the fields, towards her home.
Later that night, Y/N couldn’t sleep. Her mind was flooded with thoughts of Ellie and how she, who had so little in the world, threw away her ring so that their hands might touch again. Her heart longed to see the human once more, and all her hatred towards the humans had shifted into peace in her mind. She believed that maybe they’ve changed, and that there is good in them.
The young thief who had once hoped to steal a jewel, had managed to steal something far more precious.
“Y/N?” Ellie called outside the forrest, where they she had last seen the fairy. “Y/N!” She called over and over again. After a minute or two of calling her name, she decided it was hopeless and sighed. Suddenly, there was a gust of wind behind her, and she heard something thump onto the ground.
Turning around in a haste, Ellie saw the girl she had hoped to see stood in front of her, smiling ear to ear.
“After all these weeks, look who came back” Y/N teased. Ellie smirked and walked closer to the girl.
“I thought it was worth the risk.” She replied, a smile growing bigger on her face by the second. “So, what do you do to entertain yourself around here?” Ellie asked, and Y/N only replied with a smirk.
“Follow me.” She spoke before running into the Moors. Ellie quickly followed suit, curious as to where they were going.
