Inside “The Line” Hotel, Koreatown, Los Angeles
One of the most impressive new hotels we’ve stumbled across in quite some time, The Line opened doors early this year, taking over a former mid-century resort and transforming it into a concrete-heavy, pop art, raw edged luxury hotel with a strong nod to its surrounding neighbourhood. Located in Koreatown, Los Angeles, this sprawling 388 room build holds 12,000 square feet of meeting space, Korean-American restaurant POT headed by Roy Choi, cafes, bars, a pool deck as well as their very own retail space, Poketo, stocking the likes of Pendleton, Hasami, Mast Brothers and Topo. The equally spot-on rooms feature floor to ceiling views of the Hollywood Hills, Baxter toiletries and an ever-changing selection of artwork from local designers.
