who reaches out to new neighbors neither really… reach out per se? but regina will tan in the driveway the day the neighbors are moving in to establish dominance

who remembers to buy healthy food regina. she is very concerned about her diet. at first it stemmed from a need to stay skinny, but over time, she’s realized it’s less about that and more about feeling good. she’s noticed that when she remembers to eat healthy, it greatly improves her attitude and stamina and energy level

who remembers to buy junk food janis. she’s a junk food goblin. if she could eat nothing but takis and gushers for the rest of her life, she’d be content

who fixes the oven when it breaks janis tries to, but eventually she caves and lets regina just call someone

who waters the plants/feeds their pet(s) janis feeds the cats but regina waters the plants because janis is a forgetful bitch and the plants can’t remind her like the cats do

who wakes up earlier definitely regina. she likes to do yoga at 7 on weekdays, 8 on weekends

who brings home little gifts like flowers/chocolates more often regina. she shows her love through presents, and she’s surprisingly good at picking out things janis will love

who picks the movie for movie night they used to fight over it, so now they just alternate. that way it’s fair

their favorite kind of movie to watch regina really likes 80s movies (as cheesy as they are), and they’ve grown on janis more than she likes to admit. if asked this question, she’d say either horror or independent films, but it’s 80s movies

who builds the pillow fort janis :( regina does not like to help. janis likes to tease that she has to build a pillow palace for her pillow princess. it took two weeks after she first said it for regina to get the double meaning (”hey dickhead! that’s not even accurate!”)

who tries to distract the other during the move regina because she wants to make out. janis tends to hyperfocus during the movie, so regina learned quickly that neck kisses don’t really work. if she wants attention she has to go straight for the lips so she blocks janis’ line of sight

who falls asleep first regina. janis is much more of a night owl

who is big spoon/little spoon regina is usually the little spoon, mainly because she’s smaller and also janis likes to hold her
