yeah actually we removed the big bad wolf from the little red riding hood story because portraying violence against minors is really messed up. yeah. yeah also the wolf narrative was really predatory and had had some icky grooming vibes and a fable meant for literal children shouldn’t have implied p*do shit and grape so now little red riding hood goes into the woods and nothing happens and she goes to grandma’s house. don’t worry our kids will still stick to the path and know not to follow to wolves implicitly because we told them to and children should always do as their told. just like little red riding hood does now.

"Jealousy" is now up on itch!

while working on "dungeon master" I took a short break to get something out of my system. in about 24 hours I put together a quick 4-page comic which I decided I'd sell at a much lower price if the other comic did well enough... I'd call it a bonus but that implies it's rewarding to read. I'm not so sure about that but maybe it'll be cathartic for someone. again this is mostly something I drew to get it out of my head, but now you can go buy it for 5$.

Congratulations on Dungeon Master and Jealousy! You're such a skilled comics artist- your pacing and boarding add to the story and feel very natural at the same time. Just to let you know, your user page on itch is banned in the UK because of the Online Safety Act. I can still buy the comics if I follow a link straight there, and it's not like there's anything you can do about it, but I thought it might be useful info to have. Thanks again for your work!

god, the cat autism really gets me sometimes. I was at a writing meet-up, and someone started talking about munchkins cats and how badly they wanted one, and I was like "hahahah yeah, so cute, but just an FYI the deformity that shortens their legs also deforms their breastbone and can lead to early arthritis, as well as restricting natural behaviours like grooming and playing ^^" and they (appearing not to have heard me) continued scrolling through photos on their phone and showing them off, and said "actually, it's not a want, it's a need." so I (trying so hard to repress myself but unable) was like "there are some breeds that are disallowed in certain registries because the mutations have been deemed harmful, which makes the people who still breed them a lot sketchier. this means that you have a higher likelihood of receiving a sick animal. my housemate's friend brought home a munchkin kitten, and it was dead within a week." to which they presented a photo of an upside down munchkin with big eyes, and said "but look how fluffy :3"

my "10 years later" comic (which I made around the time my interest in gravity falls launched itself back into high gear) is three years old as of today, there's a lot I've already said about it but it just hit 40k due to an influx of notes and it'll always be crazy to me how much attention it received. if you haven't already, I'd appreciate anyone who likes other, newer gf comics to go check out dungeon master, though I've received enough monetary compensation for that labor to feel it was worth it without much additional shilling lol.

that being said: tomorrow I have plans to put up a separate, much smaller gf comic I finished a while ago, this one also being behind a (cheaper) paywall for... reasons that will probably be evident.

I'm not overly interested in promoting it. you'll either love it or hate it :]

The thing with using 🍇 instead of just saying rape is that if you really need to avoid censors you could use phrases that already exist like forced upon or violated or something else. 🍇 is genuinely the worse possible thing to use when talking about a serious topic and no I never want to see anyone use it when talking about something that happens in real life.
