Desperately want to make a videogame where the mc is a headmate in the body of a system that the player can't control. I'd design it mostly off of how my system functions - with minor dissociative barriers and friendly and cooperative interraction with the other headmates, and occasional amnesia when the mc leaves front for an extended period of time

I'd probably also add puzzles and combat sections that have to be completed in the headspace/headspace-world, and opportunities to sometimes interract with different headmates inside the headspace.

Also a stat of clarity vs blur, where the more clarity you have the more powerful your abilities are and more stamina you have, and if you're too blurry, it debuffs your skills and ability to interract with things

And to top it all, the game outside the headspace would be fantasy or sci-fi too so it'd be like 3 super cool games at ONCE

we were talking to our clinician about our system, and he said “DID is usually self diagnosable” and i joked like you’re gonna get cancelled. the system community crumbles as a licensed therapist supports system self diagnosis.

As a system who's identity and number of aspects is way bigger than I can comprehend (hence why I think in hivemind terms) I love using fleets of starships as my profile pic in all sorts of places. And here's a few reasons why

1: I love space *insert markiplier joke here*

2: It sums up the idea of something alien and expansive and varied without having to say all of that

3: it doesn't show a species like a crowd of people would so it doesn't exclude aspects that aren't human

4: it's a conversation starter

5: it signals to other people that you are nerdy so even outside of plurality it helps fellow nerdy people see you as friend-shaped

6: it's just really cool and shows quickly that you've got a lot to you

7: you don't have to worry about people seeing or thinking about your limiting flesh vessel and instead they think. Hey SPACE

8: I just find space comfy 🙂

We're not necessarily a long-term system, but we first started considering the idea that we were more than one person back in 2020, when the pandemic made some of the symptoms more obvious and we began to learn what systems were. We didn't settle into this conclusion until more recently for a variety of reasons, including both denial and not actively realizing it until one of us acted really out of character to how we acted, but we were there and noticing it years before system communities got really big. I do also think it's important to point out that many people don't know what systems are to recognize the symptoms until system communities started expanding. But yeah, those are my thoughts. Absolutely!

If you don't have words for your experiences then of course those experiences are going to be hard to describe.

A side-effect of this is that as plurality becomes more well-known and awareness spreads, growth should actually be expected to be exponential for a while as newly-discovered systems are able to share their experiences with other newly-discovered systems.
