This will be long as hell so this is my foreword: Part of the Brittana fandom's iconicness is that through the innate Glee gaps (Glaps, if you will) in the narrative, Brittana naturally begs for a certain level speculation and analysis.

And holy tits on a bull, the girls were doing IT.

There was this big group on tumblr of "Brittanalysts" who eventually formed together into one solid brain mass of the most beautiful overthinking humanity has ever seen.

Some of them, on certain topics, wrote things so amazingly correct that I walk around believing them to be just as canon as actual show events.

This is why, if you're new and you enjoy this type of content, I would like to point you in the direction of some of these pieces.

Also, a lot of this was written while the show was on air and does not have the blessing of foresight so if you're ever like "Ew, that's not true" idk grow up bitch

i just can’t get over someone implying there’s anything negative to be said about a quote that was essentially santana telling brittany, “the reason i love you is because you never needed or wanted me to change, because you’ve always loved me for exactly who i am, every version of me, and always saw me as someone that was already good enough for you; the only thing you ever needed me to do was to love and embrace myself the way you always did.”

like… being with brittany Did make santana a better person but not because brittany demanded she be one or pushed her to in order to be worthy of her because brittany has always thought that santana was the best. being with her just naturally brings out the best in santana the same way santana brings it out in her, and that’s great!!! but for santana, the fact that brittany loved her even when she wasn’t at her best is more important to her. ROMANCE!!!!!

Crazy how Artie accuses Brittany of cheating at sectionals because she spends too much time practicing her dance with Mike Chang but it's all just a miscommunication and she is not doing anything except dancing with Mike Chang so it's all fine and whatever.

However, the entire time this is all happening she is presumably swapping spit and playing "How Many Fingers Fit" with Santana so Artie was completely right to accuse her of cheating but, because heteronormativity is the true villain of Glee, he fumbled the ball right at the goal post
