E-Waste Problem of Developing Countries
E-Waste is going to become the next crisis in third world countries . Sri lanka, the country i’m living during past 30 years since born. An island country located in the Indian ocean with large bio diversity.
Sri Lanka has become a hot importing spot of Chinese made electronic devices over last two decades. due to the poverty and lack of psychological need of enjoyment,these people have been persuaded to use lot of low cost electronic devices imports from china.
most of among them are mobile phones,toys and home electronic equipment. according to the truth that all we know , most of Chinese electronic devices are made not for durable use. they just like a toilet tissue .”use one time and keep in waist bucket”.
due to these reasons,all developing countries are becoming e- waist bins. most terrible incident is that these countries has no system of managing electronic waist. they usually burn or bury the waist.
How we can estimate the damage that occur to the environment from doing that.many of these electronic components are contained with highly toxic chemicals like Boron and Cyanide .I’m showing you in below images, how much of electronic waist are remaining in my home during past 3 years
