It was funny how fleeting emotions could be. Just a second before, Jun had been in a near rage over his ruined clothes, and now he was struggling to simply calm his nerves. Werewolves weren’t exactly known for having control over their tempers, and for Jun, this extended to every other emotion too. The obvious warm and natural sort of scent coming off of the new addition to the laundry room told him that this woman was someone who probably shouldn’t know that he just ripped through metal with his nails as if it were wet paper. No doubt that she was a human. Jun gulped, straightening the posture of his lanky body before pulling it down in a small bow. “Yoon Haesoo, I’m Kim Sangjun. Mostly...it’s the Jun part these days.”
He allowed his eyes a small examination of the woman, racking his brain for any instances he might have seen her around. He could recall a few times he’d noticed her helping out a neighbor or having a pleasant conversation with another resident of HQ. “The nice girl from floor 3. I saw you giving salt or something to Haneul. Watch out for that girl, she’s crazy honestly.” Images of the enthusiastic girl ran through his head, a shiver running down his spine when he remembered how their last meeting had ended. He’d scratched up the poor kid’s arms before locking her out of his apartment.
He shook his head as if to clear away the thought. He could only hope instances like that were behind him. Jun extended an arm across the space between him and Haesoo as if to shake her hand. Unfortunately for him, a ray of moonlight had been shining directly in that particular space, the feeling of it burning on the skin of his hand an immediate reminder of this mistake. Oh god, not this again. Maybe I can stop it. Maybe I can- He jerked his hand away, the feeling of his nails extending already. The claws were clutched to his chest as he coward toward the dark corner away from the girl. “Haesoo-ssi....” He said between heavy breaths, the feeling of fangs now obvious in his mouth. “Think you can dump that bucket of water on me?” His head jerked toward the janitors mop and bucket, not exactly having the luxury at the time to consider how strange the request seemed. As he saw it, it was his one chance at stopping the transformation before it really began.
It was sort of a drag hauling down a basket full of dirty clothes to the laundry room on the first floor. Aside from the fact that Haesoo found it extremely awkward whenever someone would hop onto the elevator at the same time as her with her dirty clothes. She could only hope it wouldn’t happen to her again this time.
Once the elevator came to its stop, Haesoo braced herself, hoping she’d be able to do her laundry privately. However, before she even reached the door, she could hear someone’s voice of frustration echoing out into the hallway. Cautiously, she opened the door with one hand while balancing her basket with the other against her hip.
“Damn Tide am I right? Can’t trust it…hah.”
A small smile escaped onto Haesoo’s lips at the sight of the boy’s stained clothes as she realized what he was talking about. “Tell me about it,” she simply replied, holding back a chuckle as she placed her basket on top of a washer. From the corner of her eye, she could see the boy stiffly inching his way against the washer, pressing himself against it as if he were hiding something. Haesoo didn’t blame him though considering that she would have felt just as uncomfortable if someone walked in on her transferring her clothes from the washer to the dryer.
She took another good look at him before realizing that he was actually her neighbor. How could she not realize? A blush of embarrassment flushed over her cheeks as she tried to dig up a name to match his face while she hastily emptied her clothes into the washer. Would it be worth it taking a guess? Screw that. She’d rather face the fact that she didn’t take the time to find out his name earlier than seem like a jerk.
“I don’t think we’ve properly met yet,” Haesoo spoke after a few minutes of silence, hoping to ease the slight tension in the air. She secretly glanced at him, unsure of how to approach him. “I’m Yoon Haesoo.”

"Don't mind me, I just like making new friends!"
“Kwon Jisoo...” He said through gritted teeth, “That’s what you’ve been saying for the past. 3. days.” Jun had a temper that could be measured with a pinky finger, so it was no surprise yet another person had already found the end of it. Every time the 20 year old had run into this guy’s mischievous mug in the past week he was either speaking like a fairy tale character or looking all too pleased about life. Jun could be somewhat of a resident raincloud, and Jisoo only further proved that by contrasting Jun with his brightness. Today’s meeting happened to happen when the two met on the stairs, Jun sitting at the bottom step with his breakfast of far too many breakfast burritos for one human. Deciding even his hunger wasn’t great enough to be sad over parting with one, he picked up a burrito and tossed it at Jisoo’s chest. “Make friends with this, stupid cat.” He mumbled, irritably scarfing down the last few bites of his own meal.

“Hi, I’m new here, can you show me around?”
“Huh I’m surprised Jaehyun hasn’t taken the liberty of doing that himself yet. Everyone else must be dead if you’re asking me for a tour.” Jun rocked back on his heels, looking up at the stairs he was about to climb to his floor before retreating into his room for the afternoon. “Uh sure” A slender finger went up to point to the hallway on the left of them, “That’s the way to the laundry room. Worst washing machine ever, all my boxers are pink because of that monster.” His head then tilted to the opposite hallway, “That way’s the fire exit aka the place everyone goes to make out in ‘secret’” His hands went up to provide air quotes, along with an expression to show his disdain. “But it’s not a secret because I can hear their faces smacking together.” Jun shook his head, looking down at the girl, “Oh you should probably know who I am, huh? I’m Kim Sangjun, I’m up on the 3rd floor. Moved here...ehh maybe half a year ago? You?”

“Are you dead?”
“What would you have do if I said yes?” He asked with a perked brow, standing up and dusting himself off. The girl from his apartment complex had walked passed the sidewalk in front of the building at exactly the wrong time. He’d gotten in a fist fight with one of the leaders of the werewolf “pack” that liked to cause trouble around the area. To him, there was no difference between them and any other local group of thugs. The young girl looking at him quizzically wouldn’t be getting that explanation, though. “I got hit by a guy on a bike, not a car. With enough hope and positivity I’ll be fine, I’m sure.” He said sarcastically, the cut on the side of his cheek already beginning to heal itself. “What about you? Are you dead?”

Dark calculating eyes looked up at the moon from behind dark lenses. By the looks of where it was in the sky, it was nearly 3AM. Not too much longer now and Jun could forsake the dumb mask and shades that always had to cover his face at night. Every sundown was a battle when you were a werewolf, but it was nearly the end of tonight’s struggle. He’d stayed late at the vet’s office with a mother dog and her pups, wanting to make sure they were all fed and asleep before he walked home. Jun liked to think that all the patience he lacked with humans was given to animals. A human could piss him off in less than 5 words, but dogs? Dogs could never piss you off. With a content sigh, he slipped the straw of his coffee underneath his mask and took a long sip. This particular path home through the alleyway was a favorite of the boy’s because there was never another soul on it. He’d be able to enjoy his stolen drink in peace-Help, please someone! Jun’s eye twitched at the shrill sound of a yell reverberating off his skull. The yell was dampened, as if he were hearing it underwater. That was always the surefire sign that it was farther away than a human ear could hear. Whoever it was who was screaming wouldn’t be heard by any other soul, that was for certain. He spared one last sad glance down at his coffee. If he went full dog and bolted off to help the screamer he’d have to leave it behind. He had no qualms with being the “neutral” wolf who did neither good nor bad, but something about that voice...he couldn’t just leave it up to fate. Not this time.
“It’s always something...” He mumbled to himself, throwing the cup aside and letting it splash against the brick wall of the alley. A hand reached roughly to rip his mask off his face, the other doing the same with the sun glasses. As soon as his skin was revealed, a convenient beam of moonlight had snuck out from behind the clouds just in time to shine directly on him. He felt the usual heaving in his chest, remembering that it always felt like he was about to be sick right before he lurched forward onto all fours. From where a young man had once stood in the alleyway, emerged a large wolf as black as the night sky above it. Besides being slightly larger in size, the only features that could separate it from any other animal were it’s unnaturally luminescent yellow eyes that seemed to pierce the darkness. The creature lifted its sharp snout to the night air, taking in the signals it would have missed in human form. At least 3 other wolves like him nearby...a human...Jun’s ears went back flat on his head. The human’s scent was eerily familiar to him, only now it was mixed in with the distinct smell of blood. Oh shit is that Jaehyun!?
Within seconds, Jun was directly behind the beasts who were on top of his friend. He’d never directly fought other wolves, but there wasn’t much time to think about that. Lucky for Jun, the three smaller wolves appeared to be younger and couldn’t match his strength. When he pounced, it appeared that they recognized his superior strength because it only took a small scrap to scare them off. Jun preferred this outcome because he wasn’t in the market to kill someone tonight (let alone 3 someones). There was no time to rest on his achievements though, and he was reminded of this by the thick stench of blood that clouded the air. There was still a boy on the ground and it was impossible to tell how hurt he was in this state. The black wolf glanced over to Jaehyun who was still in too much pain to notice much of anything. If he could sneak into the shadows and manage to turn back into a human now, Jaehyun would never have to know how he was saved. Jun could make something up as he went and avoid telling him all together...
And avoid he did. Jun scampered off into the nearest clearing of trees, managing to calm himself down enough within a few minutes to change back. Luckily most of his clothes were still intact, the 20 year old now sporting a ripped up black t-shirt and jeans that were more like shorts thanks to the amount of tears. He wasn’t sure how wounded he was himself, but it didn’t matter at the moment. He took a deep breath, trying to collect himself so he could act adequately surprised when he ran back to Jaehyun. He had to believe that Jun had found him this way. “Jaehyun-ssi!?” He called in a panicked voice, dropping down next to his body on the grass. “Jaehyun what the hell happened to you!?” A hand went up to cover the wound on the other’s side, applying just a bit of pressure to try and stop the bleeding. “Shit it’s pretty bad...I have stuff for stitches in my pocket. It’s from the hospital...I-I think it might be for dogs but...shit Jaehyun what happened???”
Save Me. [ Jun & Jae ]
With exams around the corner Jaehyun was spending his nights until two in the morning at the universities library. So being super early in the morning the city was rather dead. There was the occasional drunk business man walking home but they were far and few in between. He decided to cut through the park, it was a little longer to get home taking this specific path but it was better than getting stopped by a drunk man and having to listen to his problems. Jaehyun was already tired and could barely keep his eyes open so he just wanted to get home with no problems.
Hands stuffed into his pocket, hood up, scarf wrapped tightly around his face, he walked swiftly home along a desolate park path. Jaehyun wasn’t necessarily  scared even though the path was dimly lit and no one was around. At least he wasn’t scared until there was a constant rustling in the bushes he was walking along. Like something was walking along with him on the other side. Deciding to test the waters, he stopped and then the sound stopped. Glancing over in the direction of whatever was following him, he tried to see if he could see anyone or anything but it was too dark for him to make out. He started to chew nervously on his lower lip, he was actually a scared. Something was following him and Jaehyun was scared to find out what it was. Those rumors couldn’t be true, right?
Jaehyun decided to bolt for it. He honestly didn’t know what to do. He couldn’t call for help because he figured no one was up at that hour. Running was a mistake. As he ran, the thing ran with him until something jumped out in front of him. Startled he stumbled back almost losing his foot. It was too dark for him to make out what was in the shadow before him, there was no help from the turned off street lights. Who programed those to turn off before sunrise? Squinting, he tried to make out the thing. A wolf? Before he knew it he there was a few more eyes gleaming in the moonlight besides the first one. Shit. He decided to run off the path and into the trees. That was mistake number two. Adrenaline kicked in and Jaehyun ran as fast as he could but he tripped on a tree root causing him to stumbled and roll down a hill. He managed to roll over, staring at the sky through the trees. This is a nightmare, wake up Jaehyun. Growling grew near until suddenly one wolf leaped out of the bushes and pounced onto the vibrant haired boy. “Someone help me!” screamed Jae at the top of his lungs. He was scared but he managed to throw his scarf over the wolf’s eyes, attempting anything to get his ass out of there alive. Angry the wolf randomly started to chomp and scratch at the frightened boy who was trying to wiggle himself out of the the wolf’s grasp. That was another mistake.  He looked down to notice that his clothes had become tattered, a bit of red staining his white shirt. “Help, please someone!” He tried to yell as loud as he could once more. He hoped and prayed someone would be around to help him. I am going to die here. Goodbye cruel world. Jae closed his eyes awaiting to be torn to shreds. He could hear the other wolves approaching, I am going to be a pack of wolves chow.

[;grumbles when he stumbles out of his apartment in a ripped t-shirt and pajama pants to see that a note has been placed on his door. the smell of the rose had been enough to wake him up, and the note only confirmed his suspicions.] Gong Haneul how would you like it if I left a dead animal at your doorstep huh? [;Shakes his head, still sour from their previous fight.] That’s it. She’s getting a dead mouse at her door.

At this point Haneul’s strange antics were becoming somewhat normal to Jun. The two were both strange in their own ways, so together it was just like two kids messing around. The mood had become easy in its own unique way...that was until she tugged at his black-out curtains. Ah, so this is how the view looks like from the third floor. As the words were spoken, a blinding white light seemed to engulf everything in the pocket sized living room. In reality the moonlight was rather dim in the fog, but after two years of hiding from it Jun had become especially sensitive. There was no way she could have known...He thought to himself, trying to rationalize with the part of his brain that was already causing him to see red and dart towards her. The moments that closed the space between the two seemed to go in slow motion for the young man. He carefully avoided putting himself in the path of the moonlight lighting up certain parts of his floor, but it must have only taken a second or two before he reached her. Hands gripped either side of her arms, the force of his pushing her towards his open front door almost enough to knock them both over. It was nothing short of a scramble as he shoved her out the door and immediately slammed it shut with the weight of his back pressing against it. His breath was ragged now as he slid down the door until he was in a sitting position on the floor.
“You stupid girl!” He growled against the door, teeth clenched tightly. “It was careless enough to sleepwalk to your death tonight! Are you trying to get killed!?” Jun’s hands went in front of his face. He titled them from side to side in careful inspection. His claws had come out thanks to his sudden anger, but luckily he hadn’t soaked up enough of the moon to lose it. He could only hope that Hanuel hadn’t felt the sharpness of them against her arm. His face then fell into his hands, his breath attempting to even out. There was no doubt the girl on the other side of the door needed some sort of explanation. No one got that upset over someone opening their curtains naturally. Unfortunately, Jun just didn’t have one. Not in this state. It took him forever to calm back down after something sparked his so-easily flared temper. “Go home, Gong.” He said in the most even tone he could manage, “You’re fine now so just go home.”

“Unreal” He says simply, eyes wide and still full of shock thanks to his door-pillow being opened whilst he was still leaning against it, “You’re unreal, Ahn Chrystal.” Normal people did not look like that at this hour, usually they looked like they could commit several murders and then several more for good measure. He leaned in towards her almost luminous face, peering into her dark eyes. “Not a single eye crust…did you pop a pill or something before you opened the door?” Jun smiled crookedly, a hand taking the liberty of batting at her ponytail before turning back towards the stairs. “You look ready to run for congress, I hope President Park is prepared to give up her position.”
It had actually been a marvel that Kim Sangjun had a car in his possession this week. When he still had his noodle delivery job, he’d gotten around on a company scooter. After that went south and he was fired, a bike had been his only means of commute for months. Of course he had jumped at the chance for a road trip after winning a bet with a few of the guys in the opposite building while playing poker (it was either that or they stripped off their last articles of clothing, which thank god did not happen.) One of their cars was all his for a full 7 days now. “Gorgeous isn’t she?” He asked proudly, scrambling over to the busted up black truck in the HQ parking lot to hold the passenger door open. The coat of paint on the thing was matte black, as if someone had tried giving it a makeover with house paint. Besides its visual faults, the build indicated that the model was at least 30 years old, maybe older. “Don’t worry, it runs without spitting out too much black smoke and everything...maybe just cover your nose the first 5 seconds after I turn the key.”
Trying his best to drown out any complaints his companion had about the vehicle with pure enthusiasm, Jun didn’t speak again until they were both loaded into the truck. The first thing he did once in the driver’s seat was open each window, his head leaning slightly towards the open air. The feeling of the wind hitting his face once he started driving was one of life’s greater pleasures. “So as your captain,” Jun started as he backed out of their parking space, “I think I have a claim to a few answers. First what the hell is up with that outfit because I can’t afford a dry-cleaning bill if it gets dirt on it.” He chuckled, his eyes going off the road for just a moment to scan her attire. “Second what’s up with the bag? Don’t tell me you brought pepper spray or something, I promise if we get in trouble I can protect myself.” He absentmindedly tapped his nails against the worn leather wheel of the car, a single hidden pinky finger claw scratching against the material. “Ooh and third I found a shortcut I wanted to tell you about. That’s not really a question but it’s sweet okay. There’s this abandoned mall that still had an elevator leading RIGHT up to his office building. I guess they built on top of it without re-purposing the few bottom floors. Psh and people call me stupid.” Jun shook his bangs playfully, bright and determined eyes practically shining as he looked at the sunny sky ahead of them. “I’m going to be the best student at SNU. Oh yeah did I tell you that?” He glanced over at Chrystal, “I’m going to be a college man like you. Going to the same one as your old boyfriend.” Not being able to resist, he allowed for a few obnoxious kissing noises to accompany the end of his sentence.
Doctor’s Orders [ Jun and Chrystal ]
Chrystal has been up since 5AM and she’s been staring into her mirror for almost an hour now, rehearsing the questions she’s going to ask Dr. Song in her mind and re-checking the list of her things to bring in her mind. She’s nervous for a lot of reasons, one because he’s going to meet with a prestigious doctor that’s going to help her with graduating with flying colors and career offers to different hospitals (and if she fucks this up, she really wouldn’t want to show up in Yonsei ever again.) Two, because Sangjun is with her and that they’re going on a roadtrip after the meeting with Dr. Song. She doesn’t really know why she agreed on that but she needed a driver and Sangjun is exactly what she needed. His timing for annoying her to loosen up and to go join him in a roadtrip is just perfect so it didn’t take her that long to decide whether she’d go with Jun or not. His agreeing with her favor helped her to get to the decision of joining him in a roadtrip.
Now, Chrystal doesn’t really expect the worst from this roadtrip but she’s packed a first-aid kit just in case Jun hurts himself or worse, they get into trouble. She doesn’t want any of that and all she wants is to get over with the interview with Dr. Song and eat the bibimbap she’s promised. It’s not all bad though, she thinks. She appreciates the fact that Jun actually cares about her and wants her to relax. But she can’t help but wonder if she really does seem that tight or prissy? Is that how most people really look at her with her being a medical student and working too hard to get to where she wants to be? She’s really not that bad with relaxing… and perhaps that’s what she wanted to prove to Sangjun who’s been annoying her endlessly about this. I can relax, she tells herself. This day will go through smoothly.
She’s snapped out her mumbling questions to herself when she hears knocking on her door and Jun’s voice being way loud at quarter to 7 in the morning. But she appreciates the fact that he didn’t forget to wake up early. She hauls her backpack on her shoulders and makes her way to her door, her hair up in a ponytail. She dresses up better than her usual go-to because well, she’s meeting the person that could make or break her. So she squeezed herself in a white blouse, clean jeans and a pair of new sneakers. She wanted to make an impression Dr. Song. She knows that a white blouse isn’t probably the best attire for a roadtrip but she’s packed a change of clothes just in case. It’s not Chrystal if she doesn’t have extra everything.
“I’m coming… and no I don’t have coffee!” She yells as she nears her door then opens it, an unsuspecting Jun leaning against it and she looks at him, eyes wide. “G’morning… I’ve been up since 5AM so I didn’t forget about this. I’m glad you didn’t forget. Thanks.” She greets with a smile, then adjusts the straps of her backpack on her shoulders.“Are we good to go, captain?”

Doctor’s Orders [ Jun and Chrystal ]
@chrystalxac
He had done it. It only took 100+ spam texts, 2 visits to her doorstep, and countless minutes of obnoxious prodding...but he had done it. Ahn “stick up my ass” Chrystal had been broken down to the point of agreeing to accompany the boy on a weekend roadtrip to an outer district of Seoul. Social butterfly wasn’t the best word to describe either of them, but Jun knew that the next time he felt like getting into some trouble it would be with her. The two were opposites in a good way. Chrystal kept Jun on his toes by being his ever-so-amusing voice of reason. And Jun had the important job of ensuring Chrystal didn’t shrivel up and die in that apartment of hers. Jun decided this weekend was a specifically pivotal moment in her life after catching wind that she and Jaehyun used to have something between them. The awkwardness they had probably gone through during the week was enough to make the werewolf worry that Chrystal might spend the whole weekend indoors. While his actions were often questionable at best, Jun’s intentions were always good when it came to Chrystal. It was a set in stone fact for Jun that he didn’t have any friends, but Chrystal was coming pretty damn close to fitting that definition. Enough so that all he wanted for them this weekend was some spontaneous thinking, a little adventure, and maybe just a dash of trouble if they could find it (and Jun often did.) Hell, besides Chrystal wanting to meet with a Doctor in his private office and a bibimbap place that looked promising, they really hadn’t planned anything out. Both the students were too poor to afford any of the real attractions tourists loved anyways.
The 20 year old shuffled down the apartment stairs in his worn sneakers at a snail’s pace. When the two had called the Doctor helping Chrystal with her assignment, he had requested that they come over at a shockingly early 8AM. They’d have to leave by 7 at the latest to make it. With sleep blearing the boy’s eyes, he pushed his hood over his messy hair and loudly knocked on Chrystal’s apartment door. “Yah Ahn you better be awake in there. If you got drunk last night and forgot about waking up early today I’m not even gonna help you with your hangover.” The two sentences of yelling had already gotten Jun tired again, the brunet deciding it wouldn’t hurt to lean against the door and rest his eyes until she answers. “And please have coffee in there...” He mumbled to himself, face being squashed against the wood all the while.
His half-nap against the door was interrupted by a buzzing in his pocket. Not even bothering to lift his head from the door, Jun reached into his pocket and looked down at the bright screen.
Direction Ready For: Dr. Song’s Office
She was going to be so impressed that Jun had the guy’s address all ready and waiting. Chrystal had probably assumed she’d have to be the responsible one, but not this time. Now if only he could get rid of the weird feeling he had that he had gotten the address a few numbers off...eh it was probably fine. They’d end up close enough to find it, right?

Jun might have had his fun with the “short as a slice of pizza” comment, but he was getting a taste of his own medicine with Jae’s jokes about being nervous to walk home. Jun would fervently deny that teasing got to him, but in actuality he could never take as many jokes as he dished out. It always ended with him getting frustrated at his friends like a grade schooler. Even if he’d admit to it, it would all be blamed on his werewolf temper. “Yeah yeah shut up, stupid.” Jun said with a roll of his eyes. He wished that he could explain why he had said what he did about being afraid to walk home, but it wasn’t something that could be so easily explained. He guessed he’d just be stuck being pinned as the “scaredy cat” (the feline reference not helping his cause at all.) “When I’m living it up safe and sound on campus, don’t come crying to me when you get murdered in the street.” Before Jae could take the last drink of his juice, quick reflexes allowed the boy to reach out and take it from him and proudly drink up the last bit.
“I won’t cause too much trouble, I swear.” Jun assured him, crossing his heart playfully. “Just gonna pull a few heists and start a few fires. Maybe raise a riot or something before the sun comes up, you never know.” He threw a quick wink at his new friend to ensure he got that Jun was joking. A hand went over to roughly pat his shoulder. “Alright get out of here, all those new residents are at home just waiting to be welcomed. I’m sure at least a few are in tears at this point without you.” He shook out his bangs, standing up from the counter and taking a few steps to the exit, “I’ll leave your school in one piece for you, I promise.”
Stupid Books [ Jun & Jaehyun ]
Where are you gonna put two whole slices of pizza? Jaehyun pouted, while Jun made fun of his height. Not another one.. He huffs, everyone always made fun of his height. I’m not that short, he thought. It doesn’t really bother him as much as it used to. Jaehyun just let the other have his fun as he leaned against a counter waiting for their food. “What?” Jae questioned, looking over towards the other. Oh right, we were talking out studying earlier. “Maybe there shouldn’t be an study dates, I am not sure if the world could handle a evil genius,” he laughed. “But perhaps it would be better, I mean your book plan was just strange. There must be easier ways to store the books.” He really wondered where he pulled that plan from, he still doesn’t understand how he even managed that whole stunt. Maybe he was an evil genius in the making.. “We would not be gazing into each other eyes.” he commented. “Instead of studying maybe you should just do something else, seeing that Chrystal could use a break and you studying could lead to world domination,” he quickly added with a laugh.
As hungry as Jae was, he wasn’t too happy to hear that their orders were ready. The room sure smelt good but that could be misleading like it was last year. Jae folded his pizza in half, taking a bite. He looked over to Jun, his eyes widening, he could not believe what he was seeing. He just ate the pizza in two bites. Is that normal? Jaehyun managed to barely chew the piece he bit off, he was really stunned. He was snapped out of the trance, when Jun mentioned his name. “I told you so. You should have took my word for it. It is actually better than it used to be though, if you believe that,” he replied, staring down at his pizza. Jae was glad that Sangjun didn’t talk to him while they were eating because he tends to focus in on his food and ignore everything else anyway. He finished his two slices as fast as he could and chugged down his juice before chucking the scraps into the the nearest garbage can. “You’re right,” he replied, glancing at his watch. “Perhaps heading back home is a good idea? I am kinda worried now about those rumors,” he joked but he was trying to sound serious. “Or are you planning to stay here and get familiar with the campus? Hopefully not cause trouble,” he chuckles softly.

Jun’s hands went up to snap and point two finger guns at the girl on the counter. “Gong Haneul. I won’t be the one that forgets. I’m smarter than everyone else, I’ll remember.” He snickered seemingly at his own confidence, but in truth it was actually because of the name Haneul had brought up. “Ah you know Ahn then. She sure does get around, everyone I’ve spoken to from this place has some sort of connection with that one.” He gave up his spot leaning against the table to lean forward a bit, his voice lowering just slightly in an attempt to mock a more serious tone, “Did you two have a love affair too? Tch what a player, who would have guessed.”
As the adrenaline of the night’s events left his body bit by bit, it was replaced by a new feeling. Jun found his stomach gnawing at itself the longer they stood there. Ah, with all the excitement Haneul had brought with her he had almost forgotten how hungry his nights out made him. He reached back behind him to grab the bathroom doorknob, twisting it before taking a few steps backwards into the hallway and nodding his head as a gesture for Haneul to follow. “You need to pick up a better habit. Even nose picking would be better than jumping off of roofs at night y’know.” He shook his head at her, wandering a few steps through his tiny apartment until he found himself in the kitchen. Before he could reach for the handle of the refrigerator, a silver beam in front of his face demanded his attention. He followed the trail of light to find that his black-out curtains hadn’t been completely shut, Jun then reaching over to his kitchen window and pushing them together tightly. The apartment was always darker than any other thanks to the lack of window light, but then again that usually wasn’t a problem considering no one ever came over. He could only hope Haneul already pinned him as a weirdo and didn’t question his actions all that much. Banishing the thought, Jun continued to open the fridge and raid it in silence.
First he pressed the open carton of milk to his lips, taking a few swigs and easily taking back a serving or two in a single swallow. After shoving a few other things into his mouth in the same manner, a specific bar of chocolate caught his eye. He had gotten it from some sort of witch in the other building. Jun didn’t know anything about witches, but he claimed the chocolate would “give you a little kick” when you needed it. If anyone ever needed a kick, it was definitely the girl standing across the room from him looking like she would fall asleep again at any moment. “Gong,” He called, tossing her the chocolate from across the kitchen table, “Here. Get something in your stomach before you go back to bed or you’ll get nightmares.” Appetite curbed for now, Jun continued to his front door and held it open for Haneul to do the same. “This is #304A, so we’ve only got one floor to your room.”

Jun bit down on his lip, his tongue clicking in amusement at Jae’s inquiry. Sure it was a completely rhetorical question, but he wasn’t going to squander the opportunity to tease the other. “Me? Where are you gonna put two whole slices of pizza? Stacked on top of each other and they’d be almost as tall as you, pipsqueak.” For emphasis he hovered one of his hands over Jaehyun’s head as they went over to the waiting area for the food.
Back leaned against the food counter, Jun took a moment to take in his surroundings. The school was definitely a nice one. It was clear why everyone around him seemed so serious and focused; they wanted to keep their place that they had worked so hard to earn. Perhaps it was ungrateful to use his potential new school as somewhat of a playground, but people enjoyed themselves in different ways right? This thought reminded him of their previous conversation topic; studying. Jun couldn’t exactly recall what kind of student he had been in high school, but he definitely didn’t study anymore. Maybe it was time to change that. “I’d be the third person, duh.” Jun put a finger up and tilted his head, “I know I don’t look like much. But maybe I could be some sort of evil genius you know? They don’t know they’re smart and then all of a sudden they just know everything. I could sit there and discover my inner genius and you two could gaze into each other’s eyes deeply or something. Whatever we do she definitely needs to find a way to relax.” Jae shook his head, thinking of his overworked friend, “That girl works all the time.”
His attention was peaked at the sound of the man behind them announcing their order and laying their food out on the counter. The savory smells of warm cheese and tangy barbeque sauce hit his senses almost immediately. A quick look around confirmed that the place had its fair share of customers at the moment, so it wouldn’t be completely strange for them to just stay standing and eat here where they were. Jun definitely preferred the idea, his mouth already watering and fingers reaching out for a bite. He folded one of the pizza slices over itself, opening his mouth wide enough to shove the first half of it all in at once. It only took the werewolf two bites before it was already down his throat. His eyes found Jae’s face and he gave him a mock shocked expression. “Lee Jaehyun...” He said with a bit of drama in his voice, “You were so completely right...t-this food. It tastes fucking awful.” Jun chuckled before going back in for his second bite. Content to eat alongside the other in silence, he happily downed a few wings and swigs of juice. While the amount of people around him was a little unnerving compared to his usual solitude, the vibes of college life didn’t seem that bad. Maybe he had the easygoing personality of Jaehyun to thank for that. “Anyways,” Jun started after a bit, “It’s getting sort of late. Anytime you have to go you just tell me, I don’t want to keep you.”
Stupid Books [ Jun & Jaehyun ]
Jaehyun had to think about why he never welcomed Sangjun to the complex. As much as he tried to think back to then, he just couldn’t place what was going on in his life. The best reason he didn’t was because he was busy studying.. when big exams come around Jaehyun is normally locked in his room for one to two weeks. Which is also usually when he takes his vacations at work. He somewhat felt bad that he never made the effort to talk to Jun. He is a weird guy, but there’s nothing wrong with that. Everyone has their reasons for doing things, besides Jun seemed harmless. The edges of Jae’s lips curled up into a soft smile. “Yeah, I was shy back then,” he agreed, which was a lie. He was really just a heart broken mess that didn’t want to be human anymore but Sangjun didn’t need to know that. “I am glad I came out of my shy too, it’s been nice meeting new people. Everyone is relatively nice at HQ. Besides, I wouldn’t have become a tour guide if I stayed the way I was back then.”
“I actually hungry,” he laughed, “So I don’t mind going.” Before he could even gather himself to stand, the other was already tugging him up. Jaehyun was rather comfortable. He never had many friends, most people in his life were just acquaintances, so he was happy that Sangjun seemed like he could possibly be his new friend. It didn’t take long until his smile faded. You and Ahn know each other? Jae let out a soft sigh before replying, “Yeah, we do.” He paused, Lucky? Maybe he was lucky that she lived so close he couldn’t really say. It’s nice that he sees her from time to time now but things are still somewhat awkward for Jae. “Three way study dates?” He questioned, rather confused. “Wh-who is the third person?”
When Jun stopped walking, Jae stopped looking at him curiously. His eyebrows knitted together watching the other laugh. He was just wondering. Everyone seemed to be a bit cautious these days. “Wait- you are?” Jae asked, his eyes widening in surprise. Since meeting up with the brunette, Jaehyun was rather baffled by the things that came out of Jun’s mouth, but this took the cake. Was he kidding. “I am not scared, just a bit curious though.”
The aroma of the school’s food smelled delicious, he was hoping that it didn’t taste as he remembered from last year. Jaehyun dipped his head slightly towards the worker before turning his attention towards the menu. Listening to Jun order so much food, he assumed he was just ordering for the two of them. You want anything? Jaehyun looked at the other in disbelief. Was he really going to eat all that food? “Uh- yeah. I’ll have two slices of pizza and one juice please,” he said to the worker. Jaehyun turned his attention back to Sangjun the minute he finished ordering. He eyed the other up,  “Where do you put it all?”

“Well, you were standing at the edge of the roof life this.” Jun stood up straight as a pin, his body swaying from side to side just slightly. “You looked a bit like a piece of seaweed. And then you began to sing at the top of your lungs in a Jeju dialect while hula dancing.” His usually alert eyes softened as he narrowed his eyes and smiled at her. Considering the cringing, It appeared she was fully awake. Jun finally let himself relax as he leaned against the counter. “Nah, you didn’t do anything. You were just standing there. Mumbled something about “it” being finished. One question: was “it” a murder? Ehh on second thought don’t tell me, I don’t want to be tied in with a murderer. Even one with such cool hair.” Jun’s eyes followed Haneul’s down to where they stared at her feet. Ah, she would probably want to do something about those. He tossed her the wet washcloth, letting her clean up the rest of the way herself.
“Alright so I told you what you were doing, so now it’s your turn to answer my question. Who exactly are you?” Jun’s head tilted to the side curiously. The girl looked so young to be living on her own. There was no way she was a resident here alone right? Even in the flickering faulty lighting of Jun’s poorly kept bathroom, her face looked fresh and young. A sort of brightness to it underneath the grogginess. “I wonder what it was you were doing before I saw you...hey do you think there’s a chance you hit your head?” Lips parted at the idea. Now that he thought about it, wasn’t it a bad idea to let people with possible concussions to go back to sleep? “Aish we’ll have to keep you up for at least an hour to make sure you’re alright. Do you like coffee? I have-” The 20 year old cut himself off, taking in Hanuel’s full image once more. Had he gone completely crazy? For one thing, he had no idea who she was. She could have faked the whole thing to rob him blind for all he knew. Even if there was nothing wrong with her, he had just taken an unconscious girl into his bathroom and was now suggesting she stay longer. “Or...you probably want to go home. Hah. Sorry about that. This isn’t really a normal meeting.” Jun’s eyes focused on his own sneakers and bit his lip. “I don’t drive but I can walk you home.”
