his brows rose at his wife’s sudden declaration, though a small chucklepassed his lips. running a hand over his head, he merely shook his head;perhaps he was plotting out to himself, trying to figure out his next pointof attack. he’d been so lost in the shuffle since losing the us title, that hecould hardly remember what he was doing week to week ---- hell, the lastperson he remembered even messing with was tye, and even that felt likea lifetime ago. 

but, he had a new target in his sights. the former wwe champion. he’d fallen quite hard since the last time he held the title and he knew he hadto make his way back up the rankings. the only way for him to get to thecurrent champion was through the former. he nodded as he reached fornicole, one arm snaking around her waist as he pulled her in close. it didn’t matter how ridiculous or serious he got with anything, she was willing to jump on it with him. “not just yet.” he snickered, leaning in tokiss her. “but, you’ll be the first person i come to when i get there.”

there was a sigh that passed his lips as he looked to his husband, his eyebrows knitting together with a of mixture of concern and sadness.randy knew it was hard on him when he first got the diagnosis ---- it (he would be damned before he would acknowledge it by its ‘name’)was back. he knew it was hard on him to have to leave the sport he’dgiven his time, body and almost his life for. he knew it was hardest tostart up the treatments. 

it was hard on randy, too. to watch his superman be beaten down to what he was. to watch him lose weight, to be sick, to do nothing butwant to lie in bed some days with no motivation to even play a videogame with him. he knew roman was tired, he saw it in his eyes. to behonest -- it terrified him to see him as he was, fearful he’d give up onhis fight. but still, he looked roman in the face, deep blue eyes lockedon to chocolate ones, a small nod following the range of emotions hisface probably showed.
