“why aren’t there more women in <insert nerdy hobby, career, etc>” when i tried to get into the local scene for a hobby i really enjoy one of the people who ran the meetup group DM’d me directly when i joined the discord. i thought he was just being nice about a new person showing interest in joining the group but he slowly started hitting on me and then admitted to wanting to cheat on his girlfriend with me. when i didn’t reciprocate, he kicked me from the discord group
