With so many new friends, it's been a while and I rarely divulge this much about who I am...so here we go.👇⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I’m from an Island. Grew up in Newfoundland. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I decided to stop colouring my hair in 2015, I now am completely gray and love it. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I’m passionate about clean products and gut health. Tummies can affect your whole body. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I’m obsessed with live music. I've seen A LOT of bands, some multiple times. I also have a thing with crystals.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I love dogs. My dog Belle passed a few years ago and it's been hard to replace her.🐶⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎My parents divorced when I was 20ish. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I can get so involved in projects, I forget to eat. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I'm NOT competitive and did not play team sports as a kid. I danced in groups but that's not the same.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I’m 42⁣ ⁣  ⁣ ⁣ 💎I've suffered from depression, low self-esteem and self destructive tendencies. Finding crystals and a positive mindset group with @kathleen has changed my life. Recognizing things about myself and connecting with my source energy has helped alot, I’m much better now🙏🏼⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I love food. I dance when I eat. Derek says in those moments I am truly myself.🤷🏼‍♀️⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I'm intuitive and can feel other peoples energy. It takes a lot out of me.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I've lost almost half my body weight, got down to 100 lbs, and gained it all back! 🙈Remedied a few health issues and now I love me for me. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎My pet peeve is someone putting words into my mouth, i.e. implying I meant something I didn't. Like PLEASE DO NOT DO THAT! ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I love driving, so much so, I have a hard time being a passenger and maybe missed my calling as a race car driver.🚘⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I'm an accountant but never finishined my degree, sometimes work experience can get you places⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎I’ve been trying to figure out this online business stuff as soon as I knew it was possible, I have a blog and other online marketing businesses. www.adelewalshblog.com/socialmedia-hello 💵⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 💎Me and Derek have been together for over 20 years, never married. Believe in your dreams and carry thoughts of good health!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ I met a wonderful Chippewa Objiway indigenous lady, from the Turtle clan who hails from Cape Croker on the Bruce Peninsula, a few weeks ago.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Della was kind enough to send me a few items to share with all of you. I always want to support local artists and as many BIPOC artists as possible.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ She's also become a good friend and writes to me all the time.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Aren't these dream catchers and medicine bags beautiful!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Dreams, like thoughts during the day, float through the air at night. It's said Dream catchers when are put above your headboard they will catch bad dreams while they let the good dreams float down through the adornments and feathers into your head.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ You'll never have a bad dream again if you have a dream catcher protecting you.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Medicine bags are used to keep sacred items for your wellbeing close to you. They can be filled with sage and other herbs for healing, you can also keep crystals you are using for energy healing close to your core. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ You can keep crystals for prosperity, like citrine, jade, or peridot. Crystals for protection from energy leeches like obsidian, black tourmaline, or onyx.  The crystals you chose can be for love, healing, creativity, whatever you feel you need to work on, and keep close to you.  ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ I just love the soft leather of these bags, they are so beautiful.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Drop a comment if you would like to get in touch with my friend Della and her lovely creations. ⁣ #indigenousart #indigenouswomen #supportlocalbusiness #dreamcatchers #medicinebag #healingvibrations #sweetdreams #chippewa #ojibway #indigenousculture (at Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CD2FUgOhiJa/?igshid=1m66jjanxrgzl

BELIEF...it's tricky. 🙌⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Our belief in ourselves.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Our belief in our business or the opportunity we offer.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Our belief in the products we promote.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ When we believe in something, we can talk about it in a positive light, we can see how it can help others, and we can actually see the vision of it helping them in our mind's eye. Our enthusiasm shines through and our energy is raised to a vibration that guarantees the success of our belief. ⁣ ⁣ Some people find it very difficult to change their perspectives on themselves and what they see for the future. ⁣ ⁣ So how can you raise your belief in the things you and the things you love?⁣ ⁣ How can you develop faith in yourself and what you do?⁣ ⁣ How can you become the success you've always wanted?⁣ ⁣ It may seem simple but it does take a shift in your mindset and a bit of work. There is only one known way to develop your belief.⁣ ⁣ It's by the repetition of affirmations. ⁣ ⁣ Yup.⁣ ⁣ Wishing doesn't get you anywhere.⁣ ⁣ Believing wholeheartedly and seeing it happen in your mind, gets you there.⁣ ⁣ Repeat these affirmations 3 times in the morning and 3 times at night to improve your belief today.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ✔️I believe in myself and my ability to succeed.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ✔️I believe in the person I want to become.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ ✔️I believe every day is filled with new ideas to inspire and motivate me.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ What's your favorite affirmation you use daily? ❤️⁣ ⁣ (at Burlington, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCq3kfcBjPe/?igshid=1qj6pf7kr1hwn

If you have a pulse, you have a purpose!⁣ ⁣ It beats through us like the music of our heart.⁣ ⁣ We sometimes try forever to find our true purpose when in reality the universe is already urging us along as it teaches us new lessons.⁣ ⁣ You really can't get to the next step in life until you're are ready. ⁣ ⁣ You can't force it. ⁣ ⁣ You have to find your motivation, your dreams to push you on, without them, you can feel lost and stuck.⁣ ⁣ So let me ask you. What lifts you up? What makes you happy? What do you love to do and if you could every day?⁣ ⁣ Is it helping people? Teaching? Drawing? Writing? Photography? Starting a business?⁣ ⁣ I'd love to hear your story.⁣ ⁣ Whatever you love will move you towards your purpose because it makes you happy and quickens your pulse.⁣ ⁣ I always think of one of the first gals I admired on IG.⁣ @plan.tful ⁣ She has the most fun business, in my mind. Stickers and journals and just coloring, and drawing. When I was a girl I would have loved to do this, but we didn't have examples or social media. Boy, aging myself. So we had to follow traditional methods, go to school and take courses that get you a job. Not what makes you happy.⁣ ⁣ Do you think accounting is my purpose in life? Hells no. But I've done it for 15 years to pay the bills.⁣ ⁣ I'd 100% rather design stickers and have a shop if I could draw and be talented in that area. ⁣ ⁣ But you get my point, she is doing what she loves and you can see it in her success.⁣ ⁣ I've always had to have some sort of interest to drive me on the side. Through writing a blog and working with certain brands I came to realize I like to help people solve problems.⁣ ⁣ Give them a solution that works.⁣ ⁣ Whether with their hair, or their health, or cool tips I've picked up over the years learning social media or on Pinterest or through social selling.⁣ ⁣ Is being an Influencer my purpose? I hope so, but either way, the journey will change as I do. We will grow and learn new things. Find new loves and interests, it's our pulse that drives us to our purpose. The music can change along the way. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Grab 10% off Pulse top from @limitlessflair.official use AMBASS10⁣ (at Burlington, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCbzswlhbqX/?igshid=g7f8or0qopzq

Sometimes we have to ponder a bit to find the answers we are searching for. 🌺⁣ ⁣ ⁣ One thing I never want you to ponder about is how to prevent sun damage to your hair. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Just like our skin can get sunburned, our hair can as well.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ All hair needs to be protected from the sun but especially gray or light hair. Darker hair has more pigment and it gives hair a little more protection from harmful UV rays. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ The sun's rays will attack your cuticle, damaging the shaft and will give you split ends. UV rays can also damage the proteins in your hair. This causes dryness, loss of shine, and brittle hair. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Sun damage can actually change the color of your hair, it degrades the pigment of your hair called melanin and the color fades, it can even make you go grey, like me. I never protected my hair when I was younger and I'm sure it didn't help with my now full head of grey. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ When your hair is sun damaged it stays that way until new hair grows out and replaces it, which can be years. ⁣ ⁣ So it's super important for your to use sunscreen for your hair and other methods to protect it. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 🌞Use a UV protective spray, it's like sunscreen and the most convenient way to protect against sun damage. ⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 🌞Use oil to lock in moisture and wear it up in a bun.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 🌞Wash your hair less during the summer.⁣ ⁣ ⁣ 🌞Wear a hat!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ You'll thank me one day!⁣ ⁣ ⁣ Do you have a good sunscreen for your hair?⁣ ⁣ If not hit me up, I can help you with a solution.🙋‍♀️⁣ ⁣ ⁣ #TipTuesday #healthyhairtips #healthyhair ⁣ (at Oliphant, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCWb_T-h0aG/?igshid=bthojocl4oyh

What makes our hair look like crap? And why do we keep having the same issues of dry, dull, and lifeless hair? For some of us, we may have major damage from overtreatment and styling.  While others just can't get it to grow, as they watch what they do have collect as hairballs in the drain. I've been there and I'm sure many of you or someone you know has had these issues too. So what are we doing to ourselves? Of course, good food, water, and taking care of yourself plays a part. But the big problem is how we are processing our hair and much of it is the products we use. Products with chemicals like parabens, sulfates, and silicones will also leave your hair feeling dried out, no shine, and frizzy. These products strip your hair, causing you to have to wash it more, style it more, and never feel completely satisfied with the texture.  The major thing we are doing is heat treating our hair without protection.  Whether blow drying or using heat tools to style your hair, you are damaging your hair if you do not use products with heat protectors. These will add moisture and create a buffer between the heat source and your hair, protecting it from damage, split ends, and breakage.  Even skip the heat, dry shampoo is a major hair saver, less washing, less stying.  Last but not least, don't skip the conditioner.  A few times a week or more if your hair is really dry. This will nourish your hair, add nutrients and vitamines, things shampoos do not provide, and they make your hair silky soft.  I highly recommend hair masks a few times a month and oil treatments a few times a week.  All of this plays into the health and wellness of your hair.  Give your hair some love with good products, not drugstore brands, or overpriced salon promises.  A simple solution is to find a vegan hairline with ingredients meant to nourish and help your hair, not hurt it. I can help you with that.   Give your hair the ingredients and care it requires to heal, get strong, and grow out healthy. Like our health, our skin, and our body, our hair needs to be taken care of too!   Do you have any of these issues?  #wellnesswednesday #wisdomwednesday #healthyhairrocks (at Burlington, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBiyWx8Buzb/?igshid=nlgrw7v4eu5j

Do you dye your hair? Or are you natural?  From dyed Red to natural grey, my hair has certainly had a journey! I think I started to go grey at around 17 maybe younger but enough to dye it before I went to university because of the grey. At that age, you didn't want grey hair, or at that time, things are different now, gals want grey hair, they dye it that way. Having a choice is different than this is your life and hair real hair color. Grey is technically the loss of pigment called melanin. It forever changes your hair texture, it's coarser, thinner, and way less manageable. Most people go grey due to genetics, girls Dad side, boys Mom side.  My dad and his bother were totally grey in their twenties. So here I am. Another is smoking. I started at 12, off and on my whole life, not now but the damage is done.  Don't do that kids. Lifestyle, health, what you eat.  All these factors can play in your hair's health.  Although I love my hair now, I would have liked to know this at a younger age to fend it off for a while. Here's some #tiptuesday advice to retain your natural hair color: - don't smoke or stop smoking - protect if from wind and sun - eat walnuts for copper, helps hair follicle pigment - eat fish for fatty acids, strengthens hair - eat greens for zinc, as it may even restore some of the pigment colors I can't say my hair was ever nice dyed, maybe the first or second day, I think it was just so damaged and thin and just grey underneath, I wore it up mostly in my twenties, it was so limp and dull. Blah. In my 30's I said this is enough and started the process, I was major #grombre for a year or so, I had died it blond to help at first, and kept it short as it grew out.  Now in my 40's I survived the pandemic without worrying about my roots!🤷‍♀️ (at Burlington, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBgn4SZhFW-/?igshid=1a07o5n0x660h

How can I help you persevere through such a monumental time? What can I do to protect you and deflect any unwanted negative energy through these emotional conversations we are all having filled with contemplation and introspection? Is there something out there I can offer to help you banish your fears, insecurities, suppressed memories? Help take away any pain held on from all the previous disappointment in our schools and institutions, and what they have done to BIPOC?  I know my offer of help is such a small step to such a big problem, but with each kind-hearted intention, and with offers of inclusion and understanding it's a step in the right direction.  There actually is a useful companion out there to bring more light into this cause. It can help raise our consciousness to the matter at hand, and to support our fellow community members in their time of need. A simple stone, iridescent Labradorite, will protect you, bring you strength as you impart change in our world. It will dispel any illusions held in your heart so you can get to the root of the problems at hand, form impactful thoughts and fill your days with action so we can make our communities better places.  Worn as a pendant or held against your heart, it will help you access your spiritual purpose. It will also removes any perceptions other people have instilled on you, so you can feel your true power as the queens and kings you are! #BlackLivesMatter * * * * * * * Link in Bio: Pendants use ADELE10 from @themidnightdeer, and for bigger pieces visit my CRYSTAL SHOP link from @energymuse. It's been an emotional week. It is been heartbreaking.  It's been inspirational.  We've opened our eyes, stopped being silent and listened to the pain of our fellow human beings, our neighbours, our friends and BIPOC all across this country and the entire world. We could no longer just let this keep happening.  It is our responsibility to change wrongs, not theirs.  We do not want divided communities, or inequality in our laws, in our schools or in our community institutions.  I will no longer be silent.  I will no longer look away, or watch through a screen and hope it changes.  I will no longer drown out the cries for help. I will use my voice instead to initiate change, to educate and to stand up for anyone not treated fair and equal. Even if I say the wrong thing, my intention is pure and I learn from my mistakes.  I will open my eyes to see problems in my community, workplace and business I partner with. I will look further than my immediate network to form solid and lasting relationships based on trust and mutual respect.  I will listen, learn and be an ear for anyone who needs help.  I will continue to do this until we feel whole.  We cannot go back to normal after this, we are growing and healing.  Our attitude, priorities and how we want to represent ourselves will forever change.  We have to keep up the work to be better.  Initiate change in attitudes, biases, policy, elected officials and even leaders.  Let's stand together and create a world we can be proud of.  #BlackLivesMatter (at Burlington, Ontario) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBPCsTUHR4B/?igshid=16qrjza8622kq
