Would Recommend: Yes! I highly recommend this series especially if you want your eyes red and swollen ;)
This drama literally brought me a rollercoaster of emotions from the spectacular directing, the immaculate portrayal of every character, the pure yet tragic love, and the reality of life from the past. However, this drama left me broken to the core. It scarred me deeply and hard. Still, I enjoyed it very much and would definitely rewatch it (only the happy parts of the drama). While watching, I was genuinely in love with Hee-tae's character. He is definitely the ideal man. His lines will literally make you head over heels for him! In conclusion, this drama is a gem even if its ending isn't lovey-dovey.

Genre: Fantasy, Romance, Period Drama, and Action
No. of episodes: 20
Original Network: tvN
Release Date: June 18, 2022 - August 28, 2022
Rating: 7/10
Would Recommend: Yes! a 100%
The drama was magical with the top-tier cinematography and the actors and actresses that delivered their roles so well. Each episode got me hooked and I for real was losing my sanity at the time it was airing because of the sequenced plot twists. However, I wasn't satisfied with how this season ended. I expected more, I guess? Maybe a happy ending that was impossible to deliver? Anyhow, I think the plot at the end kind of just got dragged. It seems like they've shifted their focus more on the production of season 2 rather than season 1. Still, it's a great watch. The chemistry of the leads was oozing and I would definitely rewatch this again, though I might cry a river, considering its heart-wrenching ending.
AOS: SEASON 2
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Synopsis: Jang-uk returns from death, and three years later, the story of the mages unfolds anew. Jang-uk becomes a hunter of the soul shifter when a young woman, a prisoner in her own home seeks his help to reclaim her freedom.
Genre: Fantasy, Romance, Period Drama, and Action
No. of episodes: 10
Original Network: tvN
Release Date: December 10, 2022 - January 8, 2023
Rating: 10/10
Would Recommend: Definitely!
THIS IS IT! Personally, everything that was lacking in season 1, they have here. The changing of the female lead was so complicated at first, however, it was such a great twist that they've managed to incorporate! In this season, everything in the storyline was well-written and exceptional. From this season, everything was made clear and refreshing. Considering Naksu's traumatic past, I was glad that she somehow temporarily got to forget her past and has had to enjoy the sweetness of life (even though, not necessarily since she was mostly locked up). Having a look at the drama's reviews, the majority of the viewers were flabbergasted by the change of the female lead. However, for me it's thrilling and epic. I just love how the fierce and dominant Naksu suddenly switched to the cute and charming Jin Bu-yeon. In terms of romance, just like season 1, this did not disappoint! The overflowing dose of chemistry from the casts still got me giggling tightly hugging my plushies.
Overall, both seasons were phenomenal masterpieces that deserve recognition!

Introduction ♡
Hello! A warm welcome to my page, it's a pleasure having you here ~
Dprodigy is an avenue for people that adore comedic, romantic, traumatic, melodramatic, and thriller korean dramas. It features commentaries, ratings, reviews, and recommendations for everyone. Additionally, it showcases intense love and appreciation for the creation of all these masterpieces.
Tumblr media
Here are some additional information that may guide you a little bit about me and this blog!
Story behind dprodigy
Dprodigy actually originated from two words, which is "drama" and "prodigy". It is a combination of both words as I am a self-proclaimed drama prodigy. However, dprodigy can also stand as "delusional prodigy" considering that I am delulu (of course, not at an extreme level where it becomes unhealthy) when it comes to dramas.
About the Content
Korean Dramas (hangeuk deurama) - refers to televised dramas in the Korean Language, made in South Korea, mostly in a miniseries format, with distinctive features that differentiate them from other tv series or soap operas.
PS. Note that the commentaries, ratings, and reviews posted in this blog are all based on my wonderful taste, perception, and personal preference. What I enjoy may not be your cup of tea, so please, if ever you disagree with my views, at least respect what I like.
About the Blogger
Annyeong! This is Adelle, your dprodigy admin. I am sixteen, and I am an avid fan of korean dramas long before I can even remember.
In view of my age, I know that some of you may doubt my validity as a drama prodigy. However, I can assure you that I am knowledgeable enough in korean dramas. Don't worry, you can trust me!
PS. A flashback during lockdown; I used to finish one series everyday. Therefore, I've approximately watched kdramas more than 500 times (though, some of them were just a rewatch), and that may at least qualify me as a drama prodigy.
