Look, I know the fandom really wants Ace calling Nancy ‘Nance’ to happen.

And its not that I’m against it, its just that I am SO MUCH MORE into the idea of him calling her ‘Drew’ in private sexy/flirty times.

Like Nance could be the “this is what I call you in public in front of other people now that we’re finally together” pet name.

But Drew would be the name he calls her in a husky whisper in between kisses when he’s trying to convince her to stay in bed with him instead of chasing after the new lead she just found out about. You know, a scene sort of like this one…

“You promised me the whole morning, Drew. I’m holding you to that…”

Manifesting an angsty curse-is-still-in-place scene in S4 where Nancy gets hurt and Ace, using his new asst. coroner skills, has to stitch her up.

It’s probably the first time they’ve touched since S3.

They’re so close they’re breathing the same air.

At one point, Nancy flinches at the closeness of it all but Ace mistakes it for pain.

“Sorry, the people I stitch up aren’t usually alive.”

Lexi said she took the smallest moment and made them bigger, just Fezco holding her hand and she FELL IN LOVE

And then we have Fez going with in a suit and flowers to a HIGH SCHOOL PLAY like he was going to propose 😭

Just imagine. Him, in the middle of the every-day-outfit crowd, wearing A SUIT with the bouquet on his lap. That's how everyone would find out about their relationship

headcanon: Nancy tries to move on but fails miserably

I want season 4 of Nancy Drew to start with a montage of Nancy on a series of dates as she decides she's going to move on from Ace, getting progressively more and more offended at her dinner partner's lack of skills.

Date 1

Nancy: So, how many languages do you speak? Dude: Uh, just English. Nancy: *scoffs*

Date 2

Nancy: What are your computer skills like? Dude: Oh, I'm pretty good with computers. I know all the Microsoft programs and can Photoshop stuff pretty well. Nancy: What's the highest level of security you can get past? Dude: *eyes widen*

Date 3

Dude: I really like sports. Nancy: *perks up* What sports? Dude: Football, baseball, soccer. Nancy: How are you with a bow and arrow? Dude: Um, I don't know, I haven't tried archery. Nancy: *sighs loudly*

Date 4

Nancy: How comfortable are you with dead bodies? Dude: Check, please!

ace getting a new job and apartment to make himself worthy of nancy is definitely a reflection of how he views himself, but also a reflection of how he views nancy. he holds that girl on a pedestal, thinks she's the absolute shit, thinks she deserves the world. he just wants to give her the best.

One thing I love about this scene.

Here are a Nace standing there holding hands and noone is really batting an eye.

Especially seeing how smile Nancy after she had locked herself away for a month

A running gag for season 4 should be that the morgue becomes increasingly full of posters setting out rules for working there. Like 'no eating near the bodies'; 'no supernatural talk'; 'if the bodies start moving, call Nancy, not me'; 'taking your work home with you is not an option'...
