Sunday Night back after cleaning the yard all day, Smoked Ribeye Steak with Smoked Beef Short Ribs and threw in a baked potatoes in for good measure. Everything was delicious. Tonight's dinner Beef Biryani with Mango Lassi for dessert. This fish made the house smell fantastic and was delicious, it was allitle spicy for Saige. If I make it again I will marinate the beef overnight and slow cook it all day in crockpot then parboil the rice when I get homeand assemble for 7pm dinner. So this happened this weekend on request from my wife the Biscuit and Gravy Charcuterie with Gravy Fountain. This was inspired by a Tic Tok: https://vm.tiktok.com/ZMLdguhba/ Very easy to prepare total cook time was less than an hour., and display was was mouthwatering. Pro Tip: thin out your Gravy or get a bigger fountain. Also, I cooked sausage crumbles and then made Gravy in same pot for flavor. Use sausage crumbs to top biscuits. So this happened Saturday, Giant Rib Sandwich. I'm not sure why I waited this long to attempt this idea. Super easy use your normal rack of ribs recipe just add 30min for fall off the bone tender, bbq sause, pickle, onion, and bread. This thing was so good that while I was doing my taste test sandwich, I forgot to let everyone know dinner was ready. I couldn't stop stuffing my mouth. PRO TIP, after removing the membrain from the back of ribs, make a cut next to each rib bone for easy bone removal after cooking. Alright dinner was Mexican salad with lime dressing, followed by Mexican Street corn (torch copy), then homemade tortias that we fried up into tacos. The mead was ground beef with pork sausage and chorizo, Then dessert was soppapias with honey and cinnamon sugar. I'm calling this double smoked sausage. It's tough to get more smoky flavor in to skin o store bought smoked sausage, so I sliced it and smoked it in a big vegetable basket for about 1.5 hours then tossed them in bbq sauce the back in smoker for another 15 minutes. They can out like meat candy that just melts in your mouth, so tender and juicy.
