Posts are getting flagged left and right and honestly? I’ve been looking for an excuse to shut this blog down and now here it is.

Why are you quitting?

Honestly? I haven’t made an actual post in a long time. There’s no excuse this time, I just haven’t been into Persona that much recently. Which is normal for me. Usually my fixations only last a year at most and then I move on to something else.

This time it’s about dragons and how old they are.

Honestly? I’ve mostly been active on tumblr so I’m gonna have to find something else. For now though my Instagram is @/nishikoyoakes and I would give my discord out but I’ve had unpleasant experiences before and I would prefer to keep that between friends. Does that mean you’re gonna be gone from the fandom for good?

If you had asked me that yesterday, I would’ve had a different answer. Now, I’m not so sure.

One of my friends Astro runs the @deaf-renau blog, and I offered to take care of the questions related to Futaba since in the au she has autism and I also have autism. As someone who is autistic, I also don’t like the harmful stereotypes that surround me, and I’d like to try my best and change that, even if it’s through a little thing.

Of course, that’s assuming Astro is going to continue running the blog. She won’t be able to satisfy the horny gremlins anymore.

Well, it’s been fun. Thank you everyone for going on this adventure with me, even if I didn’t finish it. I’m grateful for everyone I met in the community and for all of my followers. Maybe when I have better time management skills I’ll start again. Who knows.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! WHATS HAPPENING TO THE BLOG!!!

Happy New Year to all my followers! This is just a quick little update post on the state of the blog, future events, etc. Even though it might actually get a bit lengthy but I mean who's keeping track.

1.

Some of you may have noticed that my "Before you ask" page was updated some time ago. For those of you that didn't notice, here's the big change that's happening:

THIS BLOG WILL NO LONGER FOLLOW A STORYLINE. ASKS WILL NO LONGER BE ANWSERED IN CRONOLOGICAL ORDER OF THE EVENTS IN GAME.

The reason why I wanted to make a this a story-esque blog was because one of my good friends was doing those and it inspired me. Then we both realized something: that's hard as fuck and we don't have the time to do that. So the blog initial interactive story plot is no longer in place. But there's still a story behind Aki and the characters that'll be mentioned in ask responses, and if people show enough interest I miiiight make a timeline of the events that take place in this au?? That all depends.

So. Spoiler related asks. When am I going to start accepting them?

I have a personal policy on spoilers for games, and that policy is "after one year of its worldwide release, major spoilers are fair game." I plan on sticking by that policy. So that means that spoiler related asks won't be accepted until April 4th, 2018.

Is her name Aki or Ren? Well, here's the thing. I already have an OC named Aki and, ironically, she was a Persona 3 character that I ended up making a regular ol OC because I was self conscious about having fan characters. And Aki Yozoara and Aki Kurusu are nothing alike. So to avoid confusion with myself, the protagonist's name will be changed to REN AMAMIYA.

Another reason is, again, irony: Ren Amamiya roughly translates to "rain palace". Rain is often used in books and such to symbolize calm, docility, sadness, and tranquility. Aki (Ren now) is none of those things.

4.

In case any of you were wondering, yes, this blog is going to be somewhat ship centric. Which ship? All I can say is that it's not het and it doesn't involve anyone not of high school age.

5.

Written responses to asks might become more common depending on my scedule. Drawing takes a lot of time, and I'm still uncertain of the style I want going for this blog. Just prepare for that.

“Favorite things? Uh… I like pink, like soft peachy pink, but I also wear a lot of gray. I like tonkatsu and ramen, but not curry. Ironic, since I live in a place that makes curry. Favorite game… I don’t think I have one, but I play Angel Attack a lot. Deserts, probably daifuku, dorayaki, mochi and castella are my favorites. Drink wise, I like ramune. I rarely got to drink it back home, so it’s like a delicacy for me. I read a lot on the train but one of my favorite books is probably Innocent Sin. It’s a story about this guy who fights demons and tries to break this thing called the Joker Curse- Ah, I probably shouldn’t spoil it for you. Finally, I really like morning glories and lilies.”
