"oh!" niahm giggled, catching herself in surprise at the sight of two expectant eyes peering up at her. she made a small tsking noise, but her face remained soft and sanguine so as not to worry the small companion too much. "that's okay. i need the hourglass, unfortunately." her fingers touched over the small silver charm hanging from her satchel, tucking it gently inside the fabric. "i'd lose my own head if it wasn't attached to me. but maybe the little fella would like some seeds instead? i've got plenty to spare." her nose wrinkled in an agreeable expression before turning back to the barkeep. "ah, yes, actually! almost forgot all about it. i need your strongest brew in a bottle to go, if i could. something to really singe the nose hairs off, almost entirely unsure you should even be selling it, barely legal for consumption? that kind of thing. d'you have anything like that, friend?"

' their voice bellowing out as they lept forward, just in time to stop the little soxoda from attempting to pick at a piece of jewelry another was wearing. the creature, much like themselves, had a certain passion for all things sparkly. they were still working on the restraint, to not steal the sparkly off its owner. ' what did we say about other people's belongings? ' their tone, stern with an underlying note of softness, as they extended their arms to pick their companion up from the table it had retreated to, and brought it close to their chest. ' i'm sorry, he's still learning he can't just keep everything he sees and likes... anyways, is there something i can get you? '

she had to nod a bit sheepishly, realizing she'd been caught. she hadn't even noticed her gaze had started to linger herself, to be fair. "you'll forgive me for staring, " the healer mused, a lighthearted smile starting to poke through her lips. "not out of gawking or mockery, i swear. just thought maybe you might want some help. d'you mind?" without waiting for an answer she knelt down, opening a pouch from her waist satchel and sprinkling a few drops of its contents into the water. "there, that should do the trick. - try now?"
