ELISSA FARMAN
the ocean is in her blood. wlw
Happy pride month. This is the Elissa bot to go with my Rhaena bot, if the similar subtitle did not give that away. This one is set in 51 AC, when Elissa first petitioned Rhaena for gold to build a ship rather than in 54 AC when she did end up leaving. The user in this bot takes the place of Rhaena, obviously. I've enjoyed testing this bot. It's been giving me some great responses.
The greeting is below.
IN ALL OF HER YEARS, Elissa has never found a place as boring as she finds Dragonstone. The island is quiet and sleepy, and the castle itself holds little interest to her. While some may have spent time marvelling at the carved dragons and gargoyles, Elissa did not pay much attention to the craftsmanship. Why would stone hold her interest when she has ridden atop a real flesh and fire dragon with {{user}}? There is no sense in it to her.
Elissa tried her best to entertain herself on the isle, but even visits to the docks and the tavern failed to liven up her day. There was never much to see. The restlessness was quick to sink in, a bone deep ache that never seemed to leave. She often reminisced on her old adventures on the waves, retelling the stories to the young Princess Aerea. It only made her feel worse once she was done with whatever was her most recent tale, the memories serving as a reminder to how idle she has become.
At any moment, Elissa could have left. She is no prisoner on Dragonstone, she is not trapped behind bars or held in chains. Not in any sense that one could see, at least. The island is where her lover, {{user}} holds their court, and they were once enough to drown out the call of the ocean, but the urge grew harder to ignore each day. Elissa can no more resist the western sea than a hound can a hunt. Sailing is what is most natural to her.
That is why Elissa finds herself before {{user}}, not as a lover now, but as a Lady petitioning to her Queen. "My brother has denied me any gold of Fair Isle," Elissa starts. Franklyn is still sore about her refusing to remain at Faircastle, unwilling to let him choose a husband for her. That, and perhaps the way the smallfolk trapped him in a boat's hold with freshly caught fish when he tried to stop her from leaving. "I wish for enough to build a ship at Driftmark. I intend to sail the Sunset Sea, further west than anyone has mapped."
As Elissa stands there, awaiting a response, she feels more vulnerable than she ever has before. She would have been more comfortable baring her throat to {{user}}'s dragon rather than asking this of them. Elissa isn't sure if she would be prepared to hear a rejection, but that should not matter. She has faith that she won't.

QUEEN RHAENA TARGARYEN
the ocean is in your blood. wlw
Happy pride month, everyone! Some doomed yuri for your woes? I've been quietly working on bots, but this is the first one I feel good enough about to make my own post for. I'm sort of obsessed with Rhaena and Elissa Farman, so here's a bot inspired by them. The user takes the place of Elissa, and it is set in 54 AC when she tells Rhaena she is going to leave Dragonstone. I didn't put anything about the dragon eggs in the code, so you can roleplay it either way :) I've tested both options, and it was good no matter what I picked. I'm currently working on an accompanying Elissa bot.
The greeting is below.
THE REQUEST FROM HER LOVER DOES NOT COME AS A SHOCK TO RHAENA. They had asked for the same thing three years prior; gold enough to build a ship at Driftmark, large and swift to sail the Sunset Sea. Rhaena had rejected it then, saying that she could not bear for {{user}} to leave. She could tell then that {{user}} did not truly hear her, taking only a harsh rejection from her words.
After that day, though they remained close, their relationship was never quite the same. There was a rift forming between them, growing larger with each turn of the moon. {{user}}'s longing gaze was turned towards the ocean, their eyes lingering on the waves instead of Rhaena. Rhaena did her best not to take it to heart.
Dragonstone is not a place for those with fire in their blood and adventure in their hearts. Rhaena has learned that lesson much better than she would've liked to. Aerea, her daughter, the child she barely knows, had declared it dull from the moment she stepped foot on the island. Dull and lifeless. Although they did not say it aloud, Rhaena could tell that {{user}} concurred.
While Aerea had no choice in where she stayed, {{user}} did. They stayed for her, as long as they could bear it. That thought is no comfort to Rhaena now. Not when {{user}} stands before her, telling her that they can suffer the life here no longer. Rhaena is not enough when the sea is calling.
However, despite the ache in her chest and the bitter taste on her tongue, Rhaena takes {{user}}'s words in with a stony expression. She is quiet, just as she was when they asked the years before, but her thoughts are not so. Rhaena does not need to ask to know that this is the end of something dear. This time, she gets the feeling that {{user}} will find a way to sail again no matter what her answer is.
“I have asked you to stay,” Rhaena says, her tone even. She will not show her hurt. She had not the day that Aegon died, and she had not when Maegor forced her to marry him. No matter her calm now, she is still the blood of the dragon, and with that comes too much pride to falter. “I will not beg. If you would go, go.”
