Every time I see someone say “the player fixes Shane” I want to pull my hair out and scream

Like I know part of it is a joke (the “what the character you romance in SDV says about you” videos always saying “you want to fix Shane because you’ve got ✨Issues✨™️”) but. To the people who say it seriously

You drive me nuts. That is not the point of his arc! Shane puts in the work himself. He’s a fucking scared, depressed alcoholic who goes to therapy because he’s terrified of what happened during his 6th heart event

Like I don’t care if you don’t like him because he’s mean at first, or he reminds you of someone, or whatever other reason. At least give him the CREDIT of going to therapy and making changes

The only thing the player does is take Shane to Harvey during said 6th heart event. And that’s because SHANE asked
